Sofia's Point of View

"Are you sure you are okay with my decision?" I asked Ethan. We were standing outside of Ava's Jail cell. It had been a week since she saved me from Queen Gina. We still had no idea who the vampire council member was that helped her. Ava didn't know him either and Queen Gina was still in a coma from the poison. Eugene, Eli, and Matt were still in their shared cell. 

"Yes, I believe this should be your choice. Do you want me to go in with you?" Ethan asked

"No, I want to talk to her alone," I replied 

"Okay, I will wait for you out here," Ethan said and I walked into the cell. Ava was sitting on the bed but when she noticed me she stood up quickly

"Sofia," Ava said

"Hello, I came here to let you know that we are releasing you," I said

"What?" Ava asked with a shocked expression on her face

"Don't get me wrong. I still haven't forgiven you for everything you did but you did save my life. You are still not allowed on any of the werewolf or vampire territories but since you saved me I feel you shouldn't have to stay here for five years," I said

"Um, thank you," Ava said

"Mom wants to drive you to the human territory. She has found you a place to stay and she has some other things for you. It's up to you if you want to go with her. I know you don't want anything to do with her," I said. I turned to leave but she called my name, so I turned to look at her. 

"I am really sorry for what I did. I wish I could take it back," Ava said

"Yeah, but you can't change the past. Just make better decisions in the future. Also, I know you are upset with mom but she is trying. She wants to be there for you and I think it would be good for you but it's up to you if you want to take my advice," I said and then I left the room

"How did it go?" Ethan asked as I walked to him

"It went alright," I replied

"I know you are going to miss her," Ethan said

"Yeah, but we both know she can't stay here. She has done too much and I don't trust her anymore." Suddenly Dr. Sally mind linked me. 

"Queen Sofia, Queen Gina has just woken up," Dr Sally said through the link

"What? I am on my way," I said

"What happened?" Etahn asked

"Queen Gina is awake," I said

"We need to see her," Ethan said

"Yeah, there is someone else who should see her too," I replied and I walked back into Ava's cell

"So you are saying she will be like that forever?" Ava asked Dr. Sally. We were at the pack hospital and Dr. Sally was telling us about Queen Gina's situation. 

"The poison has done a lot of harm to Queen Gina. It is strong. It can kill a normal Alpha or Luna. Since Queen Gina is a royal the poison didn't kill her but it has done a lot of damage. Because of that she is in a paralyzed state. She can't feel anything from the neck down. She will be like that forever," Dr. Sally said. 

It was a terrible situation but Queen Gina brought this on herself. She planned on using that poison on Ethan or me but it backfired.

"Thanks Dr Sally," I said and she left

"What are we going to do with her?" Ethan asked. I knew Ethan and Edward were planning on killing her once she was out of the hospital but now she was paralyzed and would stay that way forever. 

"I think we should kill her," Edward said as he and Ella walked up to us. 

"She is in a paralyzed state and can't hurt any of us now," I said 

"Really," Edward asked

"Yes," I replied

"So you feel she should live because of her situation. She still needs to pay for the things she has done. You can't let people get away just because their plan backfired," Edward said

"I know she should pay, and she will. At first, I agreed with you about killing her, but now that she is paralyzed, I have changed my mind. I think she will be punished more by living this way," I said, and Edward looked at me. 

"I guess I agree with you. She can live," Edward said.
