Sofia's Point of View

Suddenly, I had this strange feeling that told me to turn around. When I did, I saw Jane had a gun in her hand. All I could think was, how the hell did she get a gun? Then, I heard a loud bang. 

"No," Ethan worriedly. I lifted my hands and used my abilities to make the bully go the opposite way, causing it to go into Jane's chest. Jane looked shocked before she fell to the ground. Everyone in the audience was quiet.

Ethan and I ran over to where Jane was lying. Eric walked over and kneeled in front of her. He checked her pulse and then looked at Ethan. "She is dead," Eric said

"The bullet must have been laced with something. A normal bullet or even a bullet with wolfsbane wouldn't kill a werewolf so quickly," Tammie said

"How the hell did she get a gun in the first place," Ethan growled angrily. Then, he looked at the guards that were standing there. "One of you must have given it to her," Ethan growled. His eyes had turned dark and I knew his wolf was at the surface.

"No, I would never do that," One of the guards said

Neither would I," Another guard said

"Or me." All of the guards were telling us it wasn't them.

"Well, one of you had to give her the dagger. Take them to a cell," Ethan said to some of the warriors. The warriors kneeled before taking them away. "I will find out who gave her the gun and when I do I will kill them," Ethan said

"We need to figure out what was in the bullet. It had to be something strong for it to kill her so quickly," Tammie said

"We will have the doctor run some test to figure out what was in the bullet," Eric said. I thought about everything that had happened and realized that whoever gave Jane the gun wanted her to shoot me. They wanted her to kill me. I couldn't help but worry about it. It was obvious that someone else wanted me dead. 

Ethan put his hand on mine, and I looked at him. "Don't worry, My Love. I will find out who did this," Ethan said

"King Eric, Queen Tammie," One of the maids said as she ran into the fighting ring. I could tell she was panicking. 

"It's Princess Ella. I found her unconscious in her room. She is at the Pack Hospital," The maid said

"What?" Ethan said

"Oh, Goddess," Tammie said worriedly, and Eric looked at my dad. "Make sure Jane's body gets to the hospital," Eric said

"Of course. You go check on your daughter," Don said

"Let's go now," Eric said, and we headed to the hospital. 

"Where is my daughter?" Eric asked once we arrived at the Pack Hospital. 

"My King, the Princess in room 304. The Doctor is waiting for you," the lady at the front desk said and we quickly made our way to the room. When we got to the room Ella was lying unconscious in the hospital bed with an IV in her arm. There were two nurses and a male Doctor I had never seen before talking in the room. Once we walked in they all turned and looked at us. 

"Oh, Goddess, My baby," Tammie said as she walked over to where Ella was and sat next to her. 

"What happened to her?" Eric asked. He was trying to stay calm but I could tell it was taking a lot of control for him to do so. He looked like he was ready to kill someone. 

"The maid told us that she went into the Princess's room to clean and when they got there she was on the kitchen floor unconscious.  I ran some tests and we found a high amount of wolfsbane in her system," The Doctor said

"How is that possible?" Ethan asked

"I believe someone had put it in her drank. We found a broken glass beside her when we got there. It had orange juice in it and also the wolfsbane," The Doctor said

"Who would do something like this," Tammie said

"I don't know but when I find out I will kill them

"Is she going to be okay?" Eric asked

"Yes, we were able to get the wolfsbane out of her in time. We are lucky the maids found her when they did or it could have been worse. We could have even lost her. I have a IV going to make sure we get all of the wolfsbane out of her system," The Doctor said

"Thank you so much," Eric said

"You don't have to thank me, My King. I am happy I could help. The princess should wake up soon. We will give you all some privacy. Let me know when she wakes up so that I can check on her again. I want to keep her here for a couple of days to make sure she recovers fully," The Doctor said and Then he left 

Eric walked over to sit next to Tammie who was holding Ella's hand. She had tears in her eyes seeing her daughter like that. 

"Who would have done this?" I asked

"I don't know but whoever did this is going to pay severely."
