Ryan's Point of View

"How are you feeling, son," My dad asked as he walked into the hospital room where I had been staying since the incident with Ethan. All I could think about was what happened the day before between Ethan and me. I knew I had pissed him off when I told him I hoped Sofia would reject him, but everything I said was the truth. He didn't deserve her. I was sure he kissed Lacy, but he was denying it because he had gotten caught. 

I didn't remember the incident. All I remembered was telling Ethan that he didn't deserve Sofia and that I wished she would reject him. The next thing I remembered was waking up in a hospital bed and my dad telling me what happened. My dad was upset with me for speaking to Ethan the way I did. He said we had enough problems with what my mom and Jane had done, and we didn't need anymore. 

I knew he was right, but I was still upset. Yes, Jane was responsible for her actions but so was Ethan. He never should have led her on into believing she had a chance with him. I was pissed that my sister that everyone wanted to punish my mom and sister, but Ethan got off scot free. It wasn't right. 

"I'm fine," I replied. My dad sighed and then sat in the chair by the hospital bed.

"I know you are upset, son. I am upset about everything that has happened, too."

"Then why are you acting like I was wrong for saying what I said to him?" I asked

"Just because I am upset, that doesn't mean I can make reckless decisions like you did, Ryan. You told him that you hoped his mate would reject him. You know anyone would be upset about what you said, and he is the future Alpha of the Pack," My dad said 

"I was just being honest. He doesn't deserve a girl like Sofia," I said truthfully. I knew Ethan was in love with Sofia since he laid eyes on her. When he decided to make my sister his girlfriend right before freshman year, I had told him it was a bad idea. I knew he didn't like her but he said it was for the best. He told me that he wouldn't hurt my sister, and he knew they would end up together. I never agreed with his decision and always told him he shouldn't be with my sister because he didn't truly love her, but he never listened.

I watched as my sister would bully Sofia and Ethan would watch without saying anything. I knew he wanted to, but for whatever reason, he always thought what he was doing was for the best. I hated the way my sister would treat Sofia and would tell her that she was wrong but she never listened. She always thought she would become Luna and be able to do whatever she wanted. I always knew that a girl like my sister wouldn't become Luna. My sister was rude, and she only thought about herself. The Moon Goddess would never let her be Luna. A Luna was loving and caring. She would care about everyone's feelings, just like Sofia. 

"I know you are upset, son, but please try to make better decisions from now on. You are all I have left. Alpha Eric said that you won't be punished more than you already were, but you need to stay out of trouble," My dad said. I hated how sad my dad was now. 

"Okay, I will," I said 

"Thanks, son. The Pack Doctor said you can go home later on today. I will be back to pick you up later," My dad said

"Okay," I replied, and my dad got up to leave. 

"Dad," I said before he could open the door to leave, and he looked at me. "Maybe we should think about moving to another pack," I said

"I have been thinking the same thing. We will talk about it later," My dad said, and he walked out of the room.

"I never knew my son would want to run away from his problems. I thought he would want revenge." I turned my head to the side to see my mom, Jane, and another lady I didn't know standing there

"Mom, how..." I started to say, but she cut me off

"Magic. I am sure you are wondering what we are doing here. We are here to get you, and after hearing everything you said, I know I made the right choice. Your sister thought you wouldn't want to help us," My mom said

"Help you with what?" I asked

"Revenge. You see, everything that has happened is because of that bitch Sofia's fault. If she had never shown up, none of this would have happened. We need your help to get rid of her," My mom said 

"You want to hurt Sofia? She is innocent," I said, and Jane sighed. 

"You see, mom. I told you he wouldn't help," Jane said

"Shut up, Jane," My mom said, and Jane became silent. "I know you don't want to hurt the girl but that is the only way to get Ethan back. She is Ethan's only weakness. If we get rid of her he will be weakened and hopefully he will die soon after her," My mom said

"You are okay with this," I asked as I looked at Jane and she shrugged.

" You know the saying. If I can't have him, no one can. I know Ethan will never want me, so this is the best way for me to get my revenge," Jane said with no emotion on her face. 

"Come on, son. You know it is the only way to get him back for what he did to our family. I would go to your father but it seems he is on their side," My mom said

"Fine, what do I have to do?" I asked and my mom smiled

"I already have a plan in motion. Her cousin is going to attack her and when she does we will be there to kill them both."
