Sofia's Point of View

"Why are you here?" Queen Gina asked as I walked into the cell. She had chains around her arms that made it so she woudln't be able to use her powers. 

"Why did you hurt Ava?" I asked

"She was useless. I needed to get her out of my way. I couldn't rule with her in my way. I needed to get rid of her," Queen Gina said

" She is your daughter," I said, and she left

"She is not my daughter. The only reason I took her was because I thought she would be useful to me. I thought she could help me take over the realms.. Imagine my surprise when I found out she was just human. I was going to make her my slave, but I decided it would be smarter to raise her. Treat her like I care. That way, when the time came, she would help me get to you. I taught her that werewolves and vampires were evil. It wasn't hard. She believed everything I said."

"You are terrible," I said, and she shrugged her shoulders like she didn't care what I thought about her. "You will pay for everything you did," I said, and then I left. 

I walked into the room where Ava was staying in the hospital. There were guards standing outside of her room to make sure she couldn't escape. She was in such a terrible state, I was sure that it would be impossible for her to do. 

I looked at her and felt so sad for her. She was lying in the bed unconscious. I could only imagine what she was thinking when Queen Gina stabbed her. I knew she was shocked that the woman who treated her like a daughter all her life turned on her, betrayed her. She did everything for Queen Gina and that was what she got in return. 

I knew Ethan was there before I turned around. I could smell his intoxicating scent. The scent that kept me calm, that let me know that everything was going to be okay. 

"I know I should hate her, but I feel so bad for her. The woman she trusted the most betrayed her. Stabbed her. How could she do that?" I said

"I don't know," Ethan said as he wrapped his arms around me from behind and pulled my body to his. 

"I feel like this didn't have to end this way. I didn't see this coming. Queen Gina acted like she cared about Ava, and I honestly thought she did. Why? Why did she do this? How could someone raise a child and then hurt them? Even if they aren't your blood, you should still have a bond with them," I said

"Yeah, what Queen Gina did was fucked up. But you shouldn't put all of that on you. You have a big heard, and I know you feel hurt about everything that happened with Ava, but she made the decision to do what she did. This is on her not you," Ethan said. I knew he was right but I still felt bad for her.

Dr. Sally walked into the room and we looked at her. "How is she doing? Do you think she will wake up?" I asked

"I am not sure right now. She is in bad shape but there is a slim chance that she will wake up," Dr. Sally said

"If she wakes up I don't want her to die. She will be punished, but I hope she lives," I said

"I know. How do you feel about Queen Gina? We have to punish her for what she did," Ethan said.

"Queen Gina has to pay for what she did with the most severe punishment," I said

"You know what that means, right?" Ethan asked

"Yes, I do."

"Okay, then. Once the council gets here, Queen Gina will be punished with death."

Queen Gina's Point of View

"Let me out," I screamed. I was so upset. Everything was going great.. How the fuck did that hybrid bitch trick me? She drank the potion. Why didn't it work? Was she that strong even without all of her powers?

Suddenly the cell door opened and a guard along with some council members from both the werewolf and vampire community walked inside. 

"Why are you here?" I asked

"You are coming with us," one of the men that I knew was a vampire said

"The guard undid the chains from the wall and walked with me out of the cell. I was shocked when they took me toward the woods. I thought they were going to kill me. 

"You deserve to die. I know the werewolf queen is too nice to kill so I will do it for her," The werewolf guard said. Before he could do one of the councilmen stabbed the guard in the back, killing him. 

"What do you want?" I asked the man

"We are here to save you, My Queen." It was then that I realized they were some of my followers

"We can't let them kill you. We have to attack. What should we do?" The vampire asked. They were all kneeling before me

"We have to kill the hybrid queen."
