Sofia's Point of View

 "You think I am weak? Well, then, let's see how weak I am. I, Sofia Jones, The future Werewolf Queen, challenge you, Jane Young. This will be a battle to the death. Do you accept, or are you too scared?" I asked

"Oh, you don't scare me. I accept," Jane replied. She had shifted back into her human form and was now naked. 

"No," I heard Ethan say as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body to his. Jane just rolled her eyes. "There is no reason for a battle. Jane was just sentenced to death," Ethan said. The guards walked over and handed Jane an oversized t-shirt and shorts to put on. 

"I want this to happen, Ethan. Jane has done nothing but disrespect me since we were little. I want to be the one to kill her," I replied. I was tired of Jane and the way she had treated me since we were kids. She never missed a chance to make my life a living hell. I didn't like violence, but I wanted to show her that I wasn't the weak girl she always thought I was.

"This is unnecessary. You don't have to prove anything to Jane or anyone else," Ethan said.

"I know, but I want to do this, please," I said with pleading eyes. Ethan looked at me for a moment and sighed. I think he knew I really needed to do this.

"Okay," Ethan said. Ethan looked at Eric and nodded his head. 

"It looks like future Luna Queen Sofia has challenged the prisoner Jane to a fight to the death. The fight will begin now," Eric said. The guards took Linda's lifeless body out of the fighting ring. Everyone moved to the side of the ring except for Jane and me, who were standing in the middle.

"We got this, Little Human. She is going to die for her disrespect," Tali said

"Don't think that I am too weak to fight just because I was in a cell. The guards had been feeding me well," Jane said.

"The fight will begin NOW," Eric said, and cheers could be heard in the audience. I stayed in place, waiting for Jane to lunge at me. I knew all I had to do was use my powers to beat her, but I didn't want to use them. I wanted to show her my strength and let her know that I didn't need my powers to beat her. 

Jane lunged at me in her human form, but I moved out of her way before she could touch me, causing her to fly into the net. I could tell that pissed her off by her facial expression. She lunched at me again, and I dodged her again. "Why are you running? Just fight me," Jane growled, and she shifted into her wolf. I shifted as well, and as soon as Jane was close to me, Tali bit into one of her legs, causing Jane's wolf to groan in pain. Her wolf tried to bite me in my neck, but Tali moved before she could and bit into hers instead, causing Jane's wolf to fall and shift back into her human form. I shifted back as well, still clothed, while Jane lay on the ground naked. 

Everyone was cheering in the audience. All I could hear was "Finish Her, Finish Her, Finish Her," Everyone was saying over and over again. I walked over to where Jane was lying on the ground and kneeled over her. I was about to break her neck, but then she looked me in the eye with tears in hers. 

"Just kill me and get it over with," Jane said, causing me to gasp. I knew I needed to do this. If I didn't, I was sure she would never stop trying to kill me, just like Ethan had said the night before. I tried to get my arms to move so that I could break her neck, but they wouldn't move. 

I got up and moved away from her, and everyone in the audience was still yelling "Kill Her" repeatedly. My eyes immediately went to Ethan. "I can't do it. I can't kill her," I said as I looked him in his eyes.

"What?"

"No."

"You have to kill her." Everyone in the audience was yelling. They were upset that I didn't kill her, but I couldn't do it. 

"I will do it for you," Tali said

"No, Tali. I can't let you do that. I am not a killer," I said, and Tali sighed, but she didn't say anything else. 

"SILENCE. The challenge is over," Eric said as some guards walked over to where Jane was. 

"It's okay, My Love," Ethan said as he started walking over to me. Suddenly, I had this strange feeling that told me to turn around. When I did, I saw Jane had a gun in her hand. All I could think was, how the hell did she get a gun? Then, I heard a loud bang.
