Ella's Point of View

"Thanks for talking to me. I know you are upset with me, and I wanted to say I am sorry about what happened when we went out to dinner," King Edward said. After saying goodnight to Ethan and Sof, King Edward and I went to my room to talk. I knew Sof was right and that I needed to quit thinking so much. I needed to let King Edward know how I felt and what I expected out of a mate, 

"Saying sorry won't change the way I felt when that woman touched you," I said

"I didn't mean for that to happen or for her to run into her," King Edward said

"I know, but it still hurt. I don't like feeling like that," I said

"Like what?" King Edward asked, and I stayed silent, not wanting to tell him how I was feeling when that bitch touched him. "Do you mean you felt Jealous?" King Edward asked, but I didn't reply. I knew I had to be as red as a tomato. He was right; I was jealous, and I hated it.

"Ella, you have no reason to be jealous. That woman and any other woman I have ever been with is in the past," King Edward said

"How many women have you been with?" I asked. 

"Please, Mon Amour. There is no reason for you to be jealous," 

"Who said I was jealous?" I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Okay, if you are jealous, you have no reason to be. You are the only woman I want and will ever want. Vampires are more loyal than wolves. I know some werewolves cheat on their mates, as you call them, but vampires never cheat on their beloveds. We love and cherish them always. You are my life. The only reason for me to keep going," King Edward said. His words made my heart flutter. I could tell he was being sincere, but I knew I had to be careful.

"How do you know that vampires never cheat on their beloveds?" I asked

"Because the bond is stronger for vampires. The moment we meet our beloveds, we fall in love. No one else will ever matter. I have heard how some werewolves get seduced by others, sometimes with a potion or spell, but that could never happen to a vampire," King Edward said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"Beloveds are stronger than any love potion or spell. Nothing can come between a vampire and their beloved," King Edward said

"That seems too good to be true," I said

"Well, it is true, and that is why I said you don't have to worry about me wanting anyone else but you. It might seem crazy, but I really Love you. I fell in love with you the moment I saw you," King Edwards said

"But you tried to kill me," I said

"We already talked about this, Ella. I would never hurt you. I am not going to say that I like all werewolves, but I will say that you don't have to worry about me ever trying to start a war with any of them. I would never do that to you. I couldn't hurt you like that. I am working on my issues with werewolves," King Edward said

"But you said that we are the reason your mom and dad are dead. How can you be okay with werewolves after trying to get revenge for your parent's death?" I asked

"I know that not all werewolves were responsible. I am planning on finding the one that was, and I will make them pay. That is the only werewolf I can't not hurt," King Edward said, and I sighed

"I want to give this relationship a true chance. I know I said that before, but this time I mean it," I said, and a smile appeared on King Edward's face. 

"I would really like that. Thanks, Mon Amour," King Edward replied

"I would also like to help you figure out the werewolf who killed your parents. You deserve to get justice for them, and I would like to help you," I said, and King Edward frowned.

"I know who did it," King Edward said

"Who," I asked

"Alpha Prinston of the Crescent Moon Pack," King Edward said, and I couldn't stop the frown from coming to my face. Alpha Prinston was an Alpha who didn't like working with any other pack. No one had ever been in his pack before. I had heard that there was a shield around their pack that a witch had made to make sure no one got inside. 

"I think we need to talk to Ethan and Sofia. Maybe they can help," I said

"I don't know," Edward said

"Trust me. They are our only hope of getting revenge for your parents," I said, and King Edward sighed.

"Okay, let's talk to them tomorrow. Thanks for giving me a chance. I promise you won't regret it," King Edward said, and then he kissed the top of my head. King Edward got up to leave, but I stopped him by holding his hand. 

"Hey, will you stay here tonight?" I asked

"Are you sure?" Edward asked

"Yeah, but I am not ready to, you know. I just want to..." I started to say, and Edward laughed

"I know, my pure mate. We will just sleep," Edward said, and I smiled at him.

I watched as Edward took off his shirt, showing his masculine chest. I gulped loudly as I looked at his amazing chest. I looked up at his eyes to see he was smirking. 

"You can look at me all you want, Mon Amour. I am all yours," King Edward said before lying in bed. "Come here," Edward said, and I did what he said. He pulled me closer to him so that I could lay my head on his chest and wrapped his arms protectively around me. 

"Good night, Mon Amour," Edward said as I dosed off quickly. The last thing I thought I heard him say were those three words that made my heart melt

"I love you..."
