Sofia's Point of View

"Hey, are you ready to head downstairs? King Edward will be here soon," Grandpa Damon asked. My mom, dad, Stacy, Jason, Nick, Tammie, Eric, and Ella were there with him. 

After Ethan and I made love in the shower, we washed up again before getting dressed so that we were ready to go. Once we were dressed, we heard a knock on the door. Ethan and I went to open the door and saw all of them waiting for us. I knew Ethan did want Ella to be at the meeting but she refused to stay away. She wanted to support us. 

"Yes, we are ready," Ethan said. We left the room to head to the office. When we got close to the office there were about ten men standing there glaring at us. They were vampires. Grandpa Damon had a confused look on his face. I knew something was up because the only vampires that were supposed to be at the meeting were King Edward and Grandpa Damon because we were supposed to be discussing how to fix the werewolf and Vampire problem.

"Hello, can I help you with something?" Grandpa Damon asked

"We are here for the meeting with the Hybrid Werewolf Queen and her King," One of the men said. His eyes went to me and he smiled coldly

"This meeting was supposed to be between them and Edward only. He never said anyone else would be coming," Grandpa Damon replied

"Well, he told us to come to the meeting. It shouldn't be a big deal. I mean, the werewolves brought a lot of people with them, so King Edward should be able to have us there as well," one of the other men replied. Then, he looked at me with a cold smirk that made me shiver in disgust. "So you are Sofia, the Hybrid Queen. Tell me. How does it feel to be a freak of nature? To know you never should have been born?" the man said, and Ethan, my dad, Grandpa Damon,  Nick, and Jason growled in anger. 

"You need to watch your mouth. Don't speak like that to my Queen," Ethan said, and he pulled me behind him protectively. 

"How dare you speak to my Granddaughter like that. You better watch your mouth and remember your place. She is the Werewolf Queen and my granddaughter. She deserves your respect," Grandpa Damon said

"We know our place. You need to remember yours," one of the men said

"King Edward better get here and take care of these men before I do," Ethan growled

"I agree," My dad added, and the men laughed.

"You really think King Edward is on your side? He isn't. He hates werewolves and believes all of you should be dead. More than anything, he hates that you are a hybrid. You, Queen Sofia, were not meant to be born. You are an abomination that needs to be annihilated," One of the men said

"And that is what King Edward plans to do," a man added, and I looked at my grandpa, who looked upset. 

"You are lying. King Edward wants to bring peace to our kinds," Grandpa Damon said 

"No, he doesn't. You are a fool for believing that. He only told you that so that you would help him get them here. You are a fool," another man said

"No one will touch my mate. I will kill anyone that tries to lay a hand on her," Ethan said

"Are you threatening us, Dog?" one of the men asked

"Take it however you want, bloodsucker," Ethan replied his eyes were black as night. 

The vampires were so upset that their eyes were as red as blood.

"I am done waiting. I will kill the abomination myself," one of the men said before he jumped towards me with his fangs showing. I used my powers to make him hit the wall, and that caused all of them to growl in anger. 

The rest of the vampires charged at me, and everyone got in front of me protectively. One of them came out of nowhere, and my mom used her powers to get him away from me by making him fly into the wall. 

Everyone was so busy protecting me that one of them got ahold of Ella. 

"Let my daughter go," Eric growled and the vampire was about to bite her neck, but suddenly, someone came out of nowhere. Within a second, the vampire who was about to bite into Ella's neck head was on the ground. We looked up to see a tall man, muscular man. He was taller than Ethan and had long black hair. His eyes were red as blood from anger. 

Ella gasped, and they shocked me by what they said next. 

"Mate." "Beloved."
