Sofia's Point of View

"How is she doing?" I asked as I walked into Ella's hotel bedroom. Tammie was sitting beside her while Ella slept. 

"She seems okay now. The pain has stopped." Tammie said

"That's good. How are you doing?" I asked, and Tammie sighed

"I hate that my daughter is going through this. I don't understand why the Moon Goddess would make King Edward, a vampire, her mate. I want to kill him for what he did to her," Tammie said. I knew she was angry, and so was I. I didn't understand why King Edward would do this to her. Why would he sleep with another? I knew he had to know what something like that would do to her. I had learned that if a vampire cheats on their beloved, it would be painful for them than for a werewolf's mate. He had to know what he was doing, and that showed that he must not have cared for her. 

Ella started to stir, and within a second, she was awake.

"Ella, how are you feeling, sweetie?" Tammie asked

"What happened?" Ella said, and Tammie and I looked at her. 

"Um," I sighed and then told her everything that happened. 

"Why did I suddenly feel pain like that?" Ella asked, and I looked at Tammie, who was already looking at me. Before we could answer, Ella spoke. 

"You don't have to answer that. I know why. It was King Edward. He must have slept with someone else. That is the only reason I would feel that type of pain," Ella said. Tears had started falling from her eyes. 

"Ella, I am so sorry," I said

"Why? You aren't the one who did it," Ella said. Tammie hugged her. We all had tears in our eyes. "I knew it. I told you that this could never work. He hates us too much. There is no way we could be together. There is only one thing for me to do," Ella said, and I knew what she was talking about. 

The door opened, and I was shocked to see Ethan, Eric, my dad, and King Edward walk into the room. King Edward was the last one to come inside. 

"What are you doing here," Ella said while glaring at King Edward. Then she looked at Ethan and then at Eric. "Why would you bring him here? He is the reason I was in pain," Ella said

"I am sorry about that, mon amour. You have no idea how sorry I am that you had to go through that. I wish I could go back and change what happened, but I can't," King Edward said. I could tell he was telling the truth. Ella just laughed before speaking

"Yeah, right. You must think I am a fool," Ella said

"No, I don't think that at all. When I noticed that you were my beloved, I was confused. You are a werewolf, and I am a vampire," King Edward started to say, and Ella cut him off by speaking. 

"You were going to kill my family and me. Don't act as if saying sorry can change that. I am sure you wanted me to feel pain, and I bet you came here to torture me some more," Ella said

"I would never hurt you, mon amour. You are right. That was what I was planning to do but now, all I want is to make sure you are okay. All I want is you," King Edward said

"Yeah, right. You are trying to trick me. You must think I am stupid to believe anything you have to say," Ella said

"I am not lying. I am being honest," King Edward replied. I could tell he was getting frustrated because Ella wasn't listening to him, but he was trying to stay in control. 

"So, you want me to believe that you changed your mind within a few hours of meeting me? You still hate my king. You still want us dead. You slept with someone to hurt me," Ella said

"I am not going to lie and say I like werewolves, but I do like you. I am going to do my best to change how I am. I won't try to start a war again.  And I didn't sleep with Lil. She drugged me after I told her I found you, but we didn't have sex. She sucked my dick," King Edwards said, and Tammie gasped. 

"Okay, that's enough. We don't need to hear that. I don't need to hear all of that. King Edward, Thanks for coming and telling my daughter all of this, but as you can see, she isn't feeling that well from what happened tonight. You two can finish this conversation later," Tammie said

"No, I don't want to speak to him. I don't believe what he has to say," Ella said, and Tammie sighed. 

King Edward walked out of the room with Ethan, Eric, and my dad. 

"I can't believe he thought he could come here and lie to me. He thought I was so stupid that I would listen to his lies," Ella said

"Maybe you should hear him out, Ella. I don't think he is lying," I replied. 

"No, he can't be telling the truth. I don't trust him," Ella said

"Okay, Sweetie. Calm down. Sof and I are going to go and let you get some sleep, okay?" Tammie said

Okay, but don't let him in here," Ella said

"We won't," I replied, and Tammie and I left. All I could do was hope that Ella would give King Edward a chance. I was sure he was telling the truth.
