Sofia's Point of View

"You are going to go with them to meet Monte' since he still thinks you are on his side.  Once he comes out the guards will surround him and we will take him in," Ethan said as we walked thought the woods to get to the location where they Monte' was supposed to be. 

"Okay, what about them?" King Edward asked

"What about us?" Ella replied

"We can't let him see you and I don't want you getting hurt so you need to stay out of sight so that he doesn't see you," King Edward said

"You must really think that females are weak. Look, I know that you come from a different time when women weren't treated as equally as men were, but I am from this time, and women have the same rights as men do. I will let you know that I am not a weak girl," Ella said

"I never said that you were weak. I said that I don't want you to get hurt. I know you are not weak, Ella. We don't know what we are walking into. King Edward might have brought others with him. I am sure he isn't coming alone and has some of his followers with him. I need to make sure you are safe," King Edward said, and Ella was silent. 

I know she didn't know what to say because what he said touched her heart. I knew he was telling the truth about not wanting anything to happen to her, and she did, too.

"I, um," Ella started to say, but Ethan cut her off. 

"We are almost there, so we have to stay quiet so that they don't hear us. We will stay here so that we are out of sight. Once we see Monte' the guards will come out and take him," Ethan said, and we all agreed. 

King Edward, Mandy, and the two guards walked out to meet Monte'. We had been waiting for about twenty minutes, and there was no sign of him. 

"What is taking so long?" Ella asked

"Maybe he isn't coming," Ethan said but then we heard King Edward start talking to someone. We looked at to see a man who looked to be in his mid thirties. 

"Edward, it is nice to see you again, or should I say, King Edward?" the man said

"Hello, Monte'. It has been a while since I last saw you," King Edward replied

"I will admit. I was worried the rumors were true about you destined to be with King Ethan's sister. I was worried I had lost one of my strongest men," Monte' said

"I am my own man," King Edward said

"Yeah, I know that. Of course you are. I am just saying that I thought you were going to switch sides. You know the bond is very strong and if that girl would have been your mate then you would have changed sides for her. I am just relieved that isn't the case," Monte' said

Mandy and the guards who betrayed us seemed nervous. I was sure Monte' would realize that soon and I didn't want him getting supicous. Just like my thought he looked at them

"What's wrong with y'all? Why are you looking nervous?" Monte' asked

"Um, we are not nervous," one of the guards said and Monte' gave him a questioning look

"Why did you reach out to me," King Edward asked trying to gain Monte's attention

"Um, I just wanted to tell you I was happy that you were still on my side. I need to go," Monte said and it was obvious he was about to run but then guards came out of hiding. 

"Don't move," one of the guards said and Monte' tried to run but King Edward grabbed onto him making it where he couldn't move

"Get off of me," Monte' said

"That isn't going to happen," King Edward said

"So, you did switch sides. You are a traitor," Monte' growled as the guards took him away.

King Edward's Point of View

"You are wasting your time. I am not going to tell you anything." Monte' said. King Ethan, King Marshall, and I were in a cell interrogating Monte'. Just like I suspected, he wasn't going to tell us anything. 

We had Ella and Queen Sofia go to Queen Sofia's room so that they would be safe. I didn't want Ella getting hurt. It was crazy how much I had changed in a short period of time. How much she had made me chance. If someone would have told me that my beloved would be a werewolf, I would have told them they were crazy. I probably would have killed them for saying that. But now I wouldn't have it any other way. Ella was the most beautiful woman in the world and she was the only woman I would ever want. Just thinking about all the women I had fucked made me feel sick. I wished I would have waited. Ella probably didn't know it yet, but she was mine, and I was hers. 

"What is your plan? Do you have anyone else on your side that is here in the palace?" King Marshall asked and Monte' laughed

"You might as well kill me because I am not talking," Monte' said 

"We will see about that," I said with a smile on my face. It was time for me to have some fun...
