Sof's Point of View

"Ella, what's wrong? What's happening," I asked worriedly. Ella was screaming as if she was in pain. I didn't understand what was going on. "Ethan, something is wrong with Ella," I mind-linked Ethan but he had already gotten to the door along with my dad, Eric, Tammie, Stacy and my mom. 

"What happened?" Eric asked. Tammie had walked over to Ella and was caressing her head soothingly. 

"I don't know. I was about to leave and she just started screaming in pain. She was fine a moment ago," I replied.

"That bastart. I am going to kill him," Ethan said

"What? Who are you talking about?" I asked

"King Damon," Ethan said. He was walking around the room angrily. 

"You are saying this is his fault?" I asked

"Yes, the only reason she would be in so much pain is if he was sleeping with another woman," Ethan said. Ella wasn't' screaming anymore, but she was shaking and had tears in her eyes. I had never seen her look so terrible since I had known her. 

I thought about what Ethan said, and I remembered when Ella and I were talking about the mate bond, I had asked her if mates cheated on each other. She told me most don't. She only heard of a handful of mates who cheat on each other. Normally, they reject each other if they don't want to be together. If a mate cheats, the other person will feel it. It would be more pain than anyone has ever felt. She also told me that they normally don't do that because mates don't feel pleasure from anyone but their mate. So why would King Damon cheat on Ella? It also reminded me of what my mom did to my dad and How Stacie felt a lot of pain because of it.  

"I will make her some tea to help with the pain. If that is alright with you," my mom said, talking to Tammie.

"Yes, please. Thank you," Tammie replied, and my mom went to make the tea. 

"I am going to kill him," Ethan said

"Ethan, calm down," I said 

"How do you expect me to calm down, Sof? Look at what he is doing to her," Ethan replied in a soft voice. I knew he wasn't mad at me, but he was upset with King Damon for the pain he was causing Ella. Ethan walked out of the room, and I followed him. He went to our room and got his car keys before walking out of the room and outside.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"I am going back to the vampire Kingdom to talk to this mother fucker. He is going to pay for what he did to Ella," Ethan said

"Ethan, you can't just go there," I said

"I have to, Sof. If I don't he will keep doing this to my sister. They need to reject each other. That is why I told Ella to reject him. I knew he was going to hurt her," Ethan said

"I am coming with you, son," Eric said

"Me too," My dad said and then he looked at me. Nick and Jason were with him and I knew they were going to go as well. 

"I will make sure they don't lose their shit," My dad said.

"I will go with them as well," Grandpa Damon said, and I looked at him. "It would best if I go to make sure nothing happens," 

"I will go too," I said

"No, you should stay here with Ella. I promise everything will be okay," Grandpa Damon said

"Fine, but please make sure there is no fighting going on," I said. Ethan kissed my lips softly before they all got in Ethan's car, and Ethan started the engine. 

I walked back into the hotel room. When I got there, Ella was sleeping while Tammie was crying. Ella's head was still on her knee, and she was still caressing her hair soothingly. It was crazy knowing how much it would hurt someone if their mate cheated on them. I was so thankful that I had Ethan as my mate. The man that I loved and that loved me just the same. 

"I am sorry," My mom said all of a sudden. We all looked at her to see she was looking at Stacie. "I am sorry for what I did to you. I didn't know how much pain you felt until now. I know I was wrong. I thought I was in love with Don and that you were the reason we weren't together. I knew what I was doing was wrong, but I was selfish. I won't say that I would change things because if I did, Sof wouldn't be here, but I am sorry," My mom said, and I could feel in my gut that she was telling the truth. 

"This might sound crazy but I wouldn't change things either, even after all the pain I went through that night I wouldn't change Sof being here. But thanks for apologizing to me," Stacie said. It made me happy that Stacie said what she did. She was happy that I was born, and I knew she was telling the truth. 

It seemed like things were getting better. All I hoped was that Ella would be okay as well
