Ethan's Point of View

I didn't want to leave Sofia in our room alone so early in the morning, but when my dad told me he had some information on who might have helped Jane escape the pack, I knew I had to go and meet him in his office. When I got to his office, Don, Jason, and Nick were already there waiting for me. 

"Good morning," I said as I walked inside and sat down. 

"Good morning," Everyone said in unisons

"I have gotten information from one of my Pack warriors about Jane. I had them put cameras in the beta family house, and they overheard Linda speaking to Jane a few times. I don't think Ryan or Kane know anything about it. They seem to think that Jane left on her own somehow but they don't know Linda was involved," My dad said

"Great. We need to lock Linda up in a cell and make her show us where Jane is," I said

"There is a problem, son. It seems Jane is staying in a witch coven. Even if Linda tells us where she is it would be hard to get to her," My dad said

"Wait. Didn't you used to date Jane? Your beta's daughter," Jason asked

"Yes, I did," I said 

Why did you date her? You said that you instantly fell in love with my sister when you first laid eyes on her so why did you date the beta's daughter?" Nick asked and I sighed

"I thought that Jane was going to be my mate because she was the beta's daughter. I knew that most Alpha's were mated to the daughters of top-ranked wolves. I was in love with Sof, but I didn't think she would be my mate because, at the time, we thought she was human. I thought it would be best to try and avoid Sofia and make Jane my girlfriend hoping I would learn to love Jane and get over Sof. I know I was stupid. I wish I could go back and change the past but I can't. I never fell out of love with Sof, and I was so happy when I found out the woman that I had been in love with all this time was my mate. I wish I could go back and not get with Jane. I feel like Jane never would have tried to hurt Sof if I didn't lead her on," I said

"I don't like that you decided to be with Jane and ignore my daughter, but I can tell you feel terrible for what you have done, and I can see that you truly love Sofia. All I can ask is that you don't hurt her," Don said

"I promise you I would never hurt her. I would kill myself before I hurt her in any way. I love Sofia with all of my heart," I said truthfully

"I can see that. Now, what are we going to do about Jane's mom?" Don asked

"I have already had one of the warriors take her to an interrogation room. Ryan and Kane were also taken to a room. I thought all of you would like to come with me when I talk to them," My dad said

We all agreed and headed to the room where Beta Kane was being held. 

"Hello, Beta Kane," My dad said as we all walked into the room

"Why did you bring me and my family here Alpha Eric? I already told you that my mate, son and I don't know where Jane is. We had nothing to do with her actions," Beta Kane said

"I believe that you and Ryan didn't have anything to do with Jane's actions, but I have proof that your mate helped Jane escape her cell," My dad said

"That's impossible. Linda wouldn't do that," Beta Kane said

"I have proof that Linda helped her escape. Linda knows a witch and that witch is the one that has been helping Jane. Jane is also staying in a coven with the witch," I said

"This can't be true," Beta Kane said

"I am afraid it is true," I replied

Linda's Point of View

"You can't keep me in here you know. I am the Beta female and I deserve respect," I screamed at the guards who brought me to the interrogation room. The door opened and Alpha Ethan walked inside. I knew he had something to do with this. He believes I am helping Jane. He is correct but I would never tell him the truth. 

"Alpha Ethan. Why am I here?" I asked

"You and I both know why you are here. I know you know where Jane is and that you have been helping her," Alpha Ethan said

"That is not true," I replied. Alpha Ethan put a USB in the computer and a video started. I was shocked to see that it was a video of me talking on the phone. I was talking to Jane, and you could hear our conversation. That was when I realized he had been recording me.

"That isn't the only recording I have. Now, you need to tell me where Jane is and the coven she is staying in. I want to know the witch that has been helping her," Alpha Ethan said

"I will not tell you that. This is all your fault. You knew that my daughter and you were meant to be together, but you chose that bitch over my daughter," I said, causing Ethan to growl. 

"Guards take her to a cell," Ethan said and two guards walked inside and grabbed my arms. 

"No, let me go," I screamed. I was shocked when I saw my mate standing at the door with tears in his eyes

"How could you do this to Linda?" Kane asked

"Everything I did was for our daughter," I said as the guards took me to a cell. I wasn't going to apologize for looking out for my daughter.
