Forbidden Fruit: Mated To My Sister's Best Friend Chapter 222
Ava's Point of View
"This is your room," Sof said as we walked inside. The room was two stories with three bedrooms on the second floor. It was way better than the room I stayed in when I first got there. It seemed Sofia really saw me as family now.
"Wow, thanks, Sof. This room is so nice," I said
"You don't have to thank me. We are sisters. I will give you some time to rest. I am sure you are tired after everything that happened," Sof said
"Yes, I am," I replied
"Well, I will get going. Oh, and we will need to have a meeting about the coming war with Queen Gina. I know you said she would be coming soon and we need to be prepared," Sof said
"Oh, that. Yeah, I don't think she plans on attacking now. I told her about you. I told her that she was wrong about you being evil. She promised me she wouldn't attack and told me she felt bad for believing the lies about all of you," I said
"Really, but I thought you said that she really hated me because I am a hybrid? She's also running a group of people that want me gone because they believe I am an abomination. I don't think she would change her mind so quickly just because you told her we are not bad," Sof said.
"But she has changed. My mom really trusts me. She believed me when I told her that you arent as bad as she thought," I said
"I am happy that you took up for us, Ava but I still think we need to be prepared. There is no telling if she is just telling you that to make you believe she has changed. She could still be planning on attacking. I am the queen and have to keep all the werewolves safe," Sof said. I really wished she would leave it alone but I knew that wasn't going to happen. I also knew that if I kept pressing the issue she would get suspicious and I couldn't let her figure out why I really came
I was so happy that that vampire didn't make it. At least I knew she wasn't going to be able to tell Sofia what I did. Now I just had to gain her trust fully again.
"I understand what you are saying but she really doesn't have a plan to attack you. Honestly, my mom really wanted you to help our coven. We had some attacks in the past from different werewolves and vampires. She heard that you were the strongest supernatural being in the world and that is why she wanted to ask for your help," I said
"Was she going to ask or try to force me?" Sof asked
"Um, she just wanted your help. I know we went about it the wrong way. I can't tell you how sorry I am about that but I promise my mom doesn't plan on attacking you," I said. It was true. She wasn't planning on attacking the pack. We just needed to get Sof to drink the potion and then she would come with me on her own. I just needed to figure out how to get it in her drink.
"Let's now talk about all of that now. You need to get some rest. I will see you later," Sof said
"Okay, see you later," I replied and Sof left. I smiled at I looked around my room. I walked upstairs and went to my room. I decided to take a bath in the jacuzzi tub. I filled the tub with water and added bubble bath to the water. I got in and sighed at the feel of the water. It felt so relaxing.
"It seems like everything went well." I opened my eyes and saw my mom standing there.
"Mom, what are you doing here? What if they catch us?" I asked
"That's obviously not going to happen. It seems the hybrid queen trusts you," My mom said
"But what if they have some type of spell on the room that lets them know when someone uses there powers to get in. They had me in a room a while ago that was spelled," I said
"I know. I tried to get in but couldn't. Anyway, it seems they trust you now. If they didn't, they wouldn't have given you this beautiful room, now would they?"
"I guess not," I replied
"Exactly. Now you need to get her to drink that potion. That is the only way we can get her to leave," My mom said
"I know."
"Then you need to get to it. Have you thought of a way to get her to drink it?" My mom asked
"Yes, I will ask her to go out to lunch with me tomorrow. That way I can get her out of the castle and away from those that might try to get in our way," I said
"Good."
