Sof's  Point of View

"Okay, that is enough for right now. Let's take a break," Ethan said. It had been over a week since Ava arrived, and we had been training for what was to come. Ava said that Queen Gina would be attacking soon, and we had to be ready. Grandpa Damon had been helping me with my vampire, and my mom has been helping me with my powers. I could feel myself getting stronger every da,y but it was also tiring.

Ethan was trying to make sure I didn't overdo it with the pregnancy. I knew he was worried about me and the pups, but we both knew I had to be ready. 

"Good job, Sof. You did amazing," Ava said. She had been watching everyone train. We had been spending time together to get to know each other. It was weird having a twin. She looked just like me, except for our eyes. 

"Thanks," I said

"How about we go have lunch together?" Ava asked with a smile on her face. 

"Sorry, I can't today. Ethan and I have a doctors appointment today and then we plan on spending the rest of the day together," I said. Ethan and I have been so busy that we barely have any alone time. 

"Oh, okay," Ava said with a frown, making me feel kind of bad. Ethan walked over to where we were standing and pulled my body to his. 

"You ready to go get ready, Love?" Ethan asked

"Yes," I said and then I looked at Ava. "See you later," I said

"Yeah, bye," Ava said and she walked away. Ethan and I walked to our room to shower and change. Once we were finished, we headed out. 

"You have been so deep in thought. What's bothering you?" Ethan asked. 

"I feel kind of bad. Ava wanted to hang out with me today but I couldn't. I know she felt sad when I told her no," I said

"She will be okay, Sof. This is a good thing for her," Ethan said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"For one, the two of you have been spending a lot of time together. She doesn't spend time with anyone else. She doesn't want to spend time with your mom, dad or your brothers. She needs to get used to being around others. It's kind of weird how she's been clinging onto you. Every time anyone else asks if she wants to hang out with them she says no. It's like she doesn't want to get to know anyone but you," Ethan said. He was right. She had only been trying to spend time with me. I noticed how she frowned when someone else tried to spend time with her.

"I think she just isn't used to being around others. I mean, she did have a hard life," I said

"Yeah but it isn't healthy for her to only want to spend time with you. She has to get to know other people," Ethan said

"I guess you are right," I replied and Ethan smiled

"I know I am right. Plus, I need my mate back. She has been spending more time with you than me. I am starting to think you don't love me anymore," Ethan said as he placed his hand in mine.

"You know you are my favorite person in the whole world," I said and he smiled

"And you are mine as well, Love," Ethan said as he lifted my hand and kissed it.

"How is everything, Doc?" Ethan asked while Dr. Sally did an ultrasound 

"Everything looks great. The pups are doing good and there is nothing to worry about," Dr. Sally said, making Ethan and me happy.  

"That's great to hear. We have been training a lot lately, and I just want to make sure Sof and our pups are okay," Ethan said

"They are doing fine. You know, werewolves are not as fragile as humans when pregnant. The only thing I would say is don't use too much of your magic, since we all know it will drain you. Other than that it's okay to train," Dr sally said. I was a little worried about that because of the upcoming war with Queen Gina. I was sure I would need to use my powers to defeat her, and I didn't want to harm myself or the pups in the process. 

Ethan and I left and headed to lunch. We were both deep in thought as Ethan drove to the restaurant. "We have to figure out how to win this war without you using too much of your powers. I won't risk you or our pups' lives," Ethan said out of the blue

"I agree. Maybe there is another way to win without using them, like potions. Mom has been teaching me how to make them," I said

"That sounds like a good idea," Ethan said as we parked at the restaurant. Ethan took me to an Italian restaurant, and then we got ice cream. Once we were finished, we headed back to the packhouse.  We headed to our room, and when we got to the door, I saw Ava and Ella were standing by the door. They both were glaring at each other.
