Sof's Point of View

"You look gorgeous, like always, My Love," Ethan said as he walked into our room. I was looking at the full length mirror that was hanging on my closet door. Ethan and I were going out to dinner with our family. Ella had asked all of us out to dinner because she had something she wanted to tell us. 

"Thanks," I said. Ethan wrapped his arms around me and kissed my lips softly. 

"I am happy we are going out with everyone. We have been so busy lately," Ethan said

"I am, too. I wonder what Ella has to tell us," I replied

"I don't know. Hopefully, it's good news," Ethan said. 

"Yeah, hopefully," I replied, and Ethan and I headed downstairs to meet everyone. Once everyone arrived, we took two limos to the restaurant. We ended up going to an Italian restaurant. 

"So, what is it that you wanted to tell us?" Tammie asked after everyone had ordered their food. I could tell by Ella's facial expression that she was nervous. She looked at Edward, who looked calm. He placed his hand on hers. 

"Um, I have something I have to tell everyone. I, um, I..." Ella became silent. She looked up at Edward with pleading eyes.

"We have something we want to say. As all of you know, I will be going back to the vampire kingdom once everything is taken care of here, and I asked Ella if she would go with me. She agreed," Edward said, and everyone was silent. I didn't know what to say. I had a feeling that Ella would be going back with him when the time came. They were mates so they woudln't be able to be away from each other. Though I would miss my best friend, I was happy for her. I knew Edward would take care of her. 

"I knew you would leave with him. He is your mate. You are my daughter and I am going to miss you. I wish you weren't going to be so far away from us but I know you have to do this," Tammie said

"I will miss you too. You are my only daughter, and all I have ever wanted to do is protect you and make sure you live a great life. I  will admit that when we first found out Edward was your mate, I was worried. I didn't want him to be your mate. But now I know he will protect you with his life. I can trust you with him," Eric said

"You are right. I will protect Ella with my life. No one will ever harm her," Edward said

"I don't want you to leave sis. We have never been a part from each other for every long. I am going to miss you," Ethan said

"I will miss you too," Ella replied. Ella had tears in her eyes and I couldn't help the tears that came to my eyes as well. 

"Ella, you are my best friend. When everyone else ignored and bullied me you were the one who took up for me. You are more then my best friend you are my sister. I am going to miss you so much," I said truthfully. Ella was the only friend I had for along time. She didn't care about what people thought when she hung around me. I would always appreciate her. Without her friendship I don't know what would have happened to me. 

"Thanks, Sofia. I feel the same way about you. You have always been my sister even before you discovered Ethan was your  mate. I am going to miss you so much," Ella said

"Okay, enough of all of this. Let's eat," Tammie said as the food arrived. After that we all talked about things that didn't matter. After dinner Ethan and I decided to go for a walk while everyone else headed back to the castle.

"I can't believe Ella is leaving soon. I am really going to miss her," I said as Ethan and I walked hand in hand at the beach.

"I am going to miss her too. I never thought she would leave. I thought she would find her mate at the pack or something," Ethan said. We stopped walking and looked out into the ocean. I looked up at the sky which was clear. The stars and full moon were shinning bright. Ethan wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my neck where his mark lay softly. I closed my eyes, loving the pleasure that went through my body. 

"I still feel terrible when I think about how I let everyone treat you badly in the past. I hate that you had to depend on Ella to protect you from everyone that mistreated you," Ethan said. 

"Ethan I didn't say those things to her to hurt you. I just..."

"I know, My Love. I just want you to know that I will never stop making it up to you. I will always protect you," Ethan said

"I know you will. I love you," I said

"I love you too."
