Sofia's Point of View

"I love seeing you with our pups," Ethan said, and he walked over to me and kissed me softly. I was in the nursery feeding Jr., Surprisingly, Hope was fast asleep. It still made me feel weird when Ethan and everyone else called our babies pups. I knew it was normal in the werewolf community to call them that, but I grew up in the human territory, so it still seemed wrong to call them that. "How about we take Jr and Hope outside to get some fresh air?" Ethan said

"That sounds good," I replied. It was a nice, sunny day outside. Many of the members were walking as well. As they passed us by they bowed their heads in greeting to Ethan and me. I had a smile on my face as Ethan and I walked. I pushed the stroller while he had his hand around me.

"What do you think about what our parents said the other day?" Ethan asked

"About the party they won't to throw for Jr. and Hope."

"Yes," Ethan said. Stacie, my dad, and my grandparents spoke to me about throwing a welcome party for our babies. I guess it was something every royal did when their babies were a few months old. We were supposed to invite all the werewolves alphas and lunas as well as the beta and gamma families. Usually the werewolf council would also come but I had already gotten rid of them. 

"I don't know, Ethan. I am nervous. I feel they are too young to have a party like that. plus, with everything going on I don't think it would be safe. I know all royal do this kind of things for their babies but I don't feel safe having a party right now," I said

"I know you are right but I think we should do it after we find Queen Gina and her group. It is tradition," Ethan said

"Okay, I will tell them that we will have the party after we find her," I said. Suddenly someone mind linked me

"Queen Sofia, Someting has happened. You mother has been hurt and Ava escaped."

"What? Where is my mom?" I asked through the link

"At the pack hospital," The guard said and we ended the link.  I looked at Ethan to see someone had mindlinked him as well. I could tell by his blank expression. We quickly made our way to the pack hospital. When we arrived, my mom was sitting on a hospital bed and Dr. Sally was looking over her. 

"Mom, are you okay?" I asked

"I am fine but Ava has been taken by Queen Gina," My mom said

"What do you mean by taken?" Ethan asked

"I know what everyone is thinking. They think that Ava wanted to leave but I could tell she didn't. Queen Gina just took her. We have to find her before Queen Gina hurts her," My mom said. I could tell she was worried by her facial expression

"Don't worry, mom. We will," I said

"I can't believe Queen Gina got Ava out. How the fuck did this happen? All of you were supposed to be guarding her. How the hell did she get away and how the hell did Queen Gina get in without any of you knowing?" Edward said to the guards that were supposed to be guarding Ava. He was pissed and so was I. This wasn't the first time they got away. This never should have happened

"We were guarding her and we didn't see anyone come in. Somehow Queen Gina used her powers to get into the cell. We had no idea she was there," one of the guards said. I knew he was telling the truth because my mom told me the same thing. Black smoke appeared and then a second later Queen Gina was there. It made no sense because we had a barrior around the jail so that she wouldn't be able to use her powers to get in. We also had that same barrier when Queen Gina was locked up but she also got away. That only meant one thing. 

"So you are telling me that she just appeared into the cell even though there was a spell over the jail?" Edward asked

"Yyess, your highness," one of the vampire guards said. I knew Edward and Ethan were pissed. They looked like they wanted to strangle all the guards that were standing there. 

"Okay, that is enough. You all can leave. We will call you back to question you later," I said and all the guards left. 

"Why did you kick them out?" Ethan asked

"Yeah, we weren't finished talking to them," Edward added

"I think I know how Queen Gina got in here and how she escaped."
