The Dawn of the New World Chapter 1441
Hao Xuan closed his eyes with gritted teeth and allowed himself to sink into the yellow waters under Hyde's watchful eye.
His figure turned into an indistinct shadow and was soon swallowed by the copious time energies allowing Hyde to breathe a sigh of relief.
'Huh, wouldn't have thought he would accept it so easily. Maybe he really is different?' he thought to himself before redirecting all of his attention towards the river beast, "Either way, looks like I can stop trying to hold back now. What do you say we finish this with the next move?" he smiled and got ready to unleash all the spiritual energy in one go.
Perhaps just instinctively but, the beast understood what he was trying to do and responded in kind by recoiling its monstrous body in a bid to strike with all its power.
Mr. Hyde pulled back his right arm to inscribe a magic circle in the palm of his hand that continued to get bigger and bigger while countless smaller ones spawned behind his elbow. As a result his ethereal figure almost dimmed to the point of non-existence before returning as a barely discernable apparition.
He had poured every iota of energy into this one final spell that created tidal waves in the water below. Even if they wanted to stop that was not an option anymore. The trigger had already been pulled.
Both the beast and Mr. Hyde were so focused on one another that neither noticed a small shadow swim up in between them.
And in the fraction of the second before they unleashed the attacks, just when they were at their most vulnerable, this shadow shot out of the waters at breakneck speed. It was surrounded by such an intense light that blinded both of them momentarily.
Mr. Hyde turned away from it, only hearing one word before the world seemed to turn upside down.
"Sun...der!"
The disruption caused his spell to detonate in the nick of time, creating an even bigger explosion that immediately swallowed them whole.
All three figures vanished within the chaos accompanied by the beast's painful roars that continued to spread out in all directions.

The Wastes of Torment
A great desert wasteland encompassing the greater part of the habitable landmasses stretches infinitely through the first seven layers.
- The 7th Layer of Abyss, The Pits of Despair.
A small army of reptileoids stood ready at the border of a sandy white desert. Their numbers ranged in the five hundred and each one was equipped with long hooked weapons, nets, and cages.
Licking their scaly lips in anticipation, the lizardmen either watched with bated breaths for any changes or felt for the smallest of disturbances in the dunes.
A few dozen meters behind them an obese frog-like creature sat in the shadow of four earth golems, each one standing at the height of 5-6 meters- just large enough to cover the frog's plump form from the scorching heat.
Three smaller lizardmen were surrounding the frog and using their webbed limbs to continuously fan it while chucking fruits into its mouth. Once its mouth was full the frog swallowed everything in one gulp and sat up to look at the dunes ahead with a hint of boredom.
A white stone amulet hung from around its neck in the shape of a four-sided star, although one of the limbs had been broken off. He reached into one of the many pockets of his luxurious robe to pull out a small metallic device that held an ice shard in its center.
This ice shard not only constantly changed directions but also its shape. After a few seconds of observation, the ice shard suddenly froze and began pointing in the direction of the dunes by creating long spikes.
The frog creature smiled, "Nuaish rubailah tuka sik!" it spoke with a heavy throaty voice.
The three lizardmen suddenly became ecstatic upon hearing that and one of them ran out to pass the message along to the rest of the army, "TUKA SIK! TUKA SIK!"
Their eyes widened and within seconds they divided into groups of five and began spreading out in all directions, taking care to stand only on top of the dunes and not slide down.
A moment later the ground began to shake and from within the sands erupted giant thorny plants, the smallest one being just below 5 meters.
The tip of each plant had a bright red flower bud that began to blossom within seconds of appearing out of the ground.
The lizardmen rejoiced, shouting and screaming happily upon seeing such a bountiful harvest. Once the flowers had fully blossomed they sprinted down the dunes and used their hooked weapons to climb up and tip the flowers over, spilling viscous liquids into the sand below alongside yellow organic sacks.
Most of the flowers had two of these organic sacks each but there were a few with up to four.
Half of the lizardmen quickly cleared out the outer rim and began moving inward while the other half dragged the sacks away. They rolled them over to a patch of flat ground in front of the frog creature before using small blades to cut the sacks open.
With a squirt of the same viscous liquid the sacks burst apart, releasing the naked humans that were sealed within.
