The intention had been for the champion dog to use that bowl to enjoy Special Bites. Instead, the Springer Spaniel did not hesitate to tip the contents of the golden bowl onto the floor.

It trotted back to Nancy with the empty bowl in its mouth and set it gently at her feet. Its damp eyes were full of longing.

"I’ll trade you this golden bowl! I want to use it for your food from now on!"

Nancy smiled and poured a handful of Happy Bites into her palm, offering it to the dog. "No need for a trade. This one is on me."

Watching the champion dog dump its Special Bites onto the floor during a live broadcast left Ginnie and her team speechlessly staring. Thousands of pet owners were watching their screens. This instinctive move by the champion was essentially rubbing the reputation of Special Bites into the dirt in front of a national audience.

Ginnie’s assistant panicked and pointed a finger at Nancy, shouting, "You must have added attractants to your food! How else could you lure every dog in the building!"

The accusation acted like a bucket of cold water on the crowd. People who had been lining up to pay suddenly stopped, their expressions turning hesitant.

The live chat in the broadcast followed suit.

"She's right. That smell is too much. Is this some kind of chemical additive?"

"What are the organizers doing letting an unverified brand in here?"

"I thought it was amazing a second ago, but now it feels off. What kind of dog food is that fragrant naturally?"

Star sat majestically beside Nancy, keeping the other dogs in line. His wolf-like eyes swept over the restless pack, and the dogs immediately went silent. They could only whisper among themselves in awe.

"He's so scary... but so handsome!"

"That's the aura of a true predator. I’m not moving an inch."

Nancy patted Star’s head and addressed the crowd. "Attractants? Star eats Happy Bites every day. Why would I put that garbage in my own product? I’m building a long-term brand here."

The crowd shifted their focus to Star. He sat solemnly at the most prominent spot of the booth, his front paw pressed regally against a bag of Happy Bites. He looked every bit the noble guardian.

But upon closer inspection, his own food bowl had been secretly nudged right in front of him. Every few moments, he would quickly dip his head to snag a mouthful before instantly returning to his cold, aloof pose, as if the snack had been a collective hallucination.

In the crowd, a veteran show dog owner adjusted his glasses and suddenly gasped. "Wait! That wolfdog... why does he look so familiar?"

He whipped out his phone to scroll through photos, his voice shaking with excitement.

"My god! It really is him! Star, the winner of the International Military Dog Championship two years ago! He won the explosives detection event by three minutes and was on the cover of Military Dog Magazine!"

Someone nearby cried out, "What is he doing working a booth? With his record, he should be on the judging panel!"

Nancy blinked as she heard the list of accolades. It finally clicked why Barry had said Star’s appearance fee was high. This wasn't just an expensive dog; she had a top-tier celebrity standing in for her.

Star had some serious credentials.

"Now it makes sense!" the veteran owner said, clapping his hands. "If a world-class champion like Star eats this, it's no wonder the Golden Paw winner chose it too."

The surrounding dogs went into a frenzy, tugging at their owners' clothes.

"It's Star! I want what my idol eats! Buy it for me, Mom!"

"If I eat this, I'll be as strong as him! I’m not leaving until you buy it!"

"I want to be a wolf king too! Start with the food!"

Nancy took the opportunity to project her international certifications onto the big screen. "As you can see, Happy Bites has passed the strictest testing standards for pet food. Safety and quality are guaranteed."

The last of the doubts vanished.

"If the king of dogs eats it every day, there’s no way it's full of cheap additives!"

"Ms. Nancy, you aren't going to start limiting sales or hiking the prices on us, are you?"

"Don't worry," Nancy promised with a smile. "Our supply chain is stable. We don't play games with artificial scarcity."

"Everything you see here today is available at every Garuda Corp chain across the country. The price is locked in. We look forward to seeing you again!"

As soon as she finished, the line at her small booth stretched out of sight. Meanwhile, Ginnie’s luxurious Special Bites display stood abandoned. In just ten minutes, the tables had completely turned.
