Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 100
LOUISE: As I was moving away from Shannon and Misha. I didn’t want them to hear Mother’s side of the conversation. “I called Derric like you asked. He said that Rolan was at a mating ball.” She said. “What did you tell him?” I asked quietly. “That Bart got hurt breaking up a fight between two warriors, and got dumped in a bush of wolfsbane so his wolf isn’t healing him, and we need Rolan home to pick up the slack.” She tells me. “Ok, I will see what I can do.” I say a little louder, so that Shannon and Misha hear me. “I need to go talk to Derric.” I tell them. “And then I’ll be back, and we can start the layout for the mating ball.” I say as I start to move towards the sliding doors. I go straight to Derric’s office and walk right in without knocking. “Derric! How could you tell Mother that Rolan is at some stupid mating ball when he is down in the cells? And they need him at home!” I am not yelling, but I am not quiet either. “Louise, I told you, it’s up to the twins to release him. Not me.” “You are the Alpha; you can release him! They need him back at their pack.” I said. “Go talk to your sons.” He said. “Derric!” “No, Louise. Go talk to your sons.” He stayed stoic. “OOhhhh! Fine!” I did yell this time. And I slammed out of his office. And went in search of the twins. “Where are the two of you?” I sent to them. “Training.” They both answered me. So, I headed to the training grounds.
CAIDEN: I told Beta Vance. “Beta, mother is coming.” I said aloud, keeping my attention on my opponent. “Ok. Time.” Beta Vance called. And we all took a break. Mother showed up less than 3 minutes later. “Jayden, Caiden.” She called out. I looked at my brother, and we walked over to her. “Yes, Mother?” “Your Grandmother called, and her pack needs your uncle to go home to help them.” She said. “What happened?” I asked. “Your grandfather tried to break up a fight, ended up getting hurt, and was dumped in a bed of wolfsbane. So, they need Rolan to go home and pick up the slack left by your grandfather not being in rotation.” She tells us. I look at Jayden again, knowing full well this is a ploy by mother. “Sorry, Mom, but if they truly need help, we will send a couple of our warriors there to help out as long as they need them for, but Rolan stays put!” I said the last part rather sternly. “Why? What has he done? If they need him in Crescent Moon, then he should be allowed to return. If he doesn’t, it could result in either a war or him being made a rogue. Do you want that to happen?” she said, sounding a bit desperate. “Neither one will happen, Mother, like Caiden said, if they truly need help, we will send them help. But Rolan stays here.” Jayden stated. “And as for what he did, I will not elaborate on that, but it’s because of him that your two best friends put their hands on Dad, causing you to feel the pains of betrayal. But there was no betrayal; Dad didn’t have a clue as to what he was walking into. That was all on Rolan.” I said. “So yes, for that alone, even you should be pissed at him. Yet you want him released? Makes me wonder about you Mother.” I said. We watched her blanch, then we saw pure anger in her eyes. But we were not backing down, not this time, not again; we are the Alphas, and soon we will be the ones in charge. We are no longer under her influence to follow her every word blindly. “Fine! Then you can call your grandmother and tell her that you are not going to let your uncle return to their pack.” She says, turning on her heel and stomping away. Jayden and I looked at each other, shook our heads, and went back to training.
LOUISE: I was absolutely livid. They have turned against me. And it’s all that worthless human’s fault. I swear I will make her pay. That good-for-nothing bitch! I headed back to the women, put a smile on my face, and got back to work on the plans for the mate ball. I still needed to come up with the invitations, which had to be sent out first so that the packs could respond in time. So, I got Shannon and Misha to start on those when I walked back into the pool area. We worked on the decorations and the setup for the meet and greet and the dance for the first night. Then the itinerary and rules for the rest of the ball. I am putting in no casual hook-ups before the full moon, after the full moon, everything was open for interpretation. I know that makes me sound like a bit of a hypocrite, but I truly do want the ranked members to find their goddess-given mates, and sometimes, especially with ranked wolves, they can be so possessive that they would reject their mate if they were caught with someone else before they were scented. So that is why I will put that in the rules. We worked on the setup of everything until the girls got home from school, then went about the rest of our own business.
CHIARA: I headed over to Iesha’s house after doing my shopping. Yes, there were still things I needed, but I can get them once I start getting a regular paycheck. Right now, I wanted to get to Iesha’s because I know she is going to lose it when I tell her that I got a job, and I will be staying in the Pack. She has always wanted me to stay. And so now I am. I just wish that Jase were here. I miss him. I miss talking to him, sharing things with him. He would freak out if he knew I was mated to the twins. Whether he would be happy or not would be the question there. Especially after everything they have done. Oh well, I doubt I will ever get to know those answers, unless the goddess lets me see him again. I find myself at the front of Iesha’s house. She should be home in just a few minutes. I go up to the door and knock. “Chiara, Iesha isn’t home just yet.” Mrs. Hill answers the door to my knock. “Yes, I know, but I was hoping you wouldn’t mind if I put my bike up here on the lawn?” I asked her. “No, of course not, go ahead.” She said. And I brought my bike up onto the front lawn and sat down and waited for Iesha. She was there in about 5 minutes after I got to her house. “Hey! Chi.” “Hey, Esha.” “Girrrlll! I am so excited!” she said, drawing out the word girl. “Now, why would you be excited?” I teased.
