Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 115

CHIARA: And Chad is my mate.” She dropped the bomb on them so casually. I just had to chuckle. I wonder if this is a first in Pack history that you found your mate on the night you shifted. I will have to ask the Alpha that question. I think and smile.

IESHA: I wasn’t sure what to think when Chad called me his mate. I mean, he was part of the cause of my best friend’s pain. But I know the goddess doesn’t make mistakes. So, I will give him a chance. Just like Chi, I don’t want to hurt my wolf. And I love the feel of the tingles. “Chad, you can put me down now.” I said softly to him. He growled, but he did put me down, but he kept his arm around me. I felt the tension in him as my father was checking me for injuries. I heard the low rumble in his chest. “Stop. He’s my father. I know you’re a Gamma, but do you really want to take on a Papa wolf?” I asked him. He had the wherewithal to look slightly ashamed of his reaction to my Dad. “No.” he said softly, and his head bowed. I nodded. Dad held out his hand to Chad. “Welcome to the family.” Dad said. Chad shook his hand. “I’m glad that everyone is getting along, but it’s late, and I know that both Esha and I are wiped. I need my bed.” Chi said. And I just nodded in agreement. I felt like I was going to drop right here on the spot. “I will take you to your room.” Chad said, brooking no argument, and he started to walk towards the door of our house. And Mom was hot on his heels. “I will be back. I need to get Chi home.” Dad said. “We will make sure she gets home, Mr. Hill.” The twins said. I caught Dad’s questioning look at Chi. And she nodded to him. Then he nodded. Turned and came to the house with us. I waved at Chiara as the twins headed towards the cars. She waved back, and then they were out of sight, and we were in the house. “Where is her room?” Chad asked Mom. I give Mom credit; she just showed him where my room was and didn’t even argue the issue. “I’m staying. I promise I will just hold you tonight. I will wait until after graduation to mark and mate you, but tonight I’m staying.” He said matter-of-factly. I get it, we just fought with rogues, and on my first shift, he was scared. “Ok.” I said. Not going to protest. And I got ready for bed, I was exhausted. I crawled into bed, and Chad lay down beside me, wrapped his arms around me, and I was out.

JAYDEN: I was scared when I saw Thena, with another wolf, fighting off the rogues. But what really got me was that they shifted so quickly after the fight. And both Chi and Iesha almost hit the ground because they were so tired. I hated it, and both of them being naked didn’t sit well with either my brother, me, or Chad. We all made sure the rest of the fighters kept their distance. While we covered our mates. Nobody has the right to see our mates but us. Chi is exhausted, and my brother and I won’t be leaving her tonight, so instead of taking her home, We brought her to our room. “Guys.” Chi says with a hint of panic in her voice. “Hey, Shh, we are just going to hold you tonight. You scared us, fighting with the rogues. We just need to be near you. To hold you. To make sure you’re ok, to reassure our wolves.” I say to her. She looks between Caiden and me. Caiden nods. “I promise, Chi. We just need to hold you.” We see the struggle she is having, but I think her wolf helped to calm her. She relented and climbed into the middle of the bed. We both have a king-size bed, but knowing that we have one mate between us, we started to rearrange our rooms, and we took the wall down between them. So, we all three would have enough room. And we knew that we would be in the same bed at one time. I know this is a big step forward for her to accept us, so we need to make sure that we go at her pace. But it’s a step in the right direction.  She yawns. Snuggles under the covers, and she is out. We climb in on either side of her, each of us wrapping an arm over her to reassure our wolves and ourselves that she is here and she is safe. And I let sleep take me, with the feeling of Chi in between us.

CAIDEN: It wrecked me to see Thena fighting. But it also left me in awe of her; between the two of them, they had just killed the third rogue when we broke through the woods where we heard the fighting coming from. I did something I never thought I would do. I froze. I was in a panic. Seeing Thena, like I said it wrecked me. We can’t lose her. When she fell asleep, I crawled in behind her, spooning her, with my nose buried in her neck to take in her scent. To calm my wolf and my own racing thoughts. She’s here, she’s safe, and she is ours. With her between us, I was able to let go and let sleep claim me.  

CHAD: I was scared to see Iesha’s wolf fighting. I wanted to rush straight into the fight when we broke through the woods where they were fighting. I could feel the fear rolling off of Caiden; it paralyzed him, but I didn’t take the time to try and get him to break out of it. I needed to get in there and help. But the warriors were already on it. I didn’t even get a chance to greet Iesha’s wolf before she had shifted back. They were both exhausted. Not to mention they were both naked. Neither the twins nor I liked that, especially with the warriors there. Our warning was enough to make them understand that they were ours, and nobody got to see what was ours. Goddess, Friday couldn’t get here fast enough. I so wanted to claim her. To let everybody know she was mine. But I have to wait. I will have to let Mom and Dad know that I have my mate. So that we can set the ceremony date. There was something about Iesha’s wolf; she is bigger than what a regular wolf would be. But that is something that will have to wait until morning. It’s enough that I have her in my arms and she is safe. I spoon her with my nose buried in her neck, taking in her scent. To help calm both my wolf Storm and me. I let sleep take me under.
