Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 111

IESHA: She nodded. I hugged her and got out and went inside my house, and watched them drive away.

BRANDI: When I got back to my house, I went in search of Dad. “Dad?” “Brandi.” He answered. I followed his voice to find him and Mom sitting in the living room. “The twins want to put a guard on Chiara.” I said. “MMM?” “I was thinking that Leanna would be a good match for her.” “Depends on what kind of guarding she will be doing.” Dad said. “More or less just showing her, and to help defend her if anything should happen. The guys don’t trust the Luna not to try something to hurt her.” I said. “And that’s also why I picked Leanna, she was never under the Luna’s influence, like we were.” I said. And dad nodded. I looked at Mom for her opinion as well. She too nodded. “Thank you.” I said to them. “Brandi, I want you to keep your eyes and ears open. I think that the luna might try something at the graduation.” Mom said. This time it was my turn to nod. I linked Valen and the rest of the girls to see where they were. “Where are you guys at?” “The Pool, it’s too early yet for bed, so we decided to hit the pool first.” “Ok, I'll be there shortly.” I tell them and close the link and go get my suit, towel, and change of clothes, and head out. I wanted to link the twins. But I didn’t know what their plans were, if they were coming back to the Packhouse tonight, or if they were going to stay with Chi, and I didn’t want to distract them while they were driving, so I will just have to wait for them.

CHIARA: “Guys? Do you plan on staying again?” I asked them on the way back to my new place. “No, Chi, we won’t be staying tonight, we don’t want Mother getting suspicious of you not being in the orphanage anymore.” Jayden said. “Ok.” Was all I answered. I don’t think that I could have handled all of them in my space again. Just the thought of it felt overwhelming to me. I needed time to acclimate to it on my own, without trying to deal with them being there as well. I was grateful that I would have tomorrow on my own. I wanted to try my hand at that new technique,  without them hovering and making me nervous. “What are you going to do with the guard?” I asked. “I mean, will they be here when I leave for work? Or are they going to be here starting on Monday? I would just kind of like to know what to expect.” I said. “We will have everything figured out before Monday. Chi, and we will let you know.” Caiden says. “Ok, thank you.” I said. “Umm, will you send me a picture of your wolves?” I asked as we pulled up in front of my place. “Sure, we can.” Both Caiden and Jayden answered me. “Ok, thanks.” I said, and both of the twins walked me up to my apartment. “Why do you want our wolves?” Jayden asked. “I want to try the technique on them as well as with Thena.” I said. “That would be nice to see.” Caiden. Said. I nodded, opened my door, and walked in. “Thank you again, dinner was delicious. And thank you for my furniture.” I said. “Welcome.” They both kissed me on the cheek, one on either side. “Lock up.” They both said. And left. I didn’t have a chance to react to them kissing me, because it happened so quickly. All I could do was shake my head.

CHAD: Vince and I waited in the vehicle while the twins walked Chi up to her apartment. “Vince, do you wonder if any of the girls might be your mate?” I asked him. “I haven’t paid any attention to any of it. Why?” he asked me. “I don’t know, it’s weird, but for some reason I am starting to like Iesha.” I tell him. “It sort of makes sense, she is Chi’s best friend, and you are Gamma, she would be the one to know Chi the best. And she would be able to help you get a better read on Chi, if the need ever arises again.” He said. I nod. “I just wonder why she wanted a picture of their wolves.” Vince said. “We will just have to wait for them to come back down to ask them.” I said. And he nodded.

CAIDEN: When we got down to the ground floor, I looked at the directory. I wanted the manager's apartment. I found it, and I buzzed him. “Yeah?” I heard a rather gruff voice on the other end of the intercom. “Do you have a second-floor apartment for rent?” I asked him. “Yeah, you looking for a one, or two bedroom?” He asked. “One.” I said. “Do you have time now, or do you want to come back Monday?” He asked. “Now.” I said. “I’ll be right out.” He said. And cut the call. I linked Vince. “Jayden and I are going to look at an apartment really quick.” “Ok.”  I closed the link. We heard a door opening and saw a slightly pudgy guy come out of an apartment with a ring of keys in his hand. “You the ones looking for the apartment?” He asked, looking around, his voice sounding like he had spent the day doing nothing but smoking; he smelled like it, too. “Yes, we are looking for a friend.” Jayden said. “Follow me.” He said and headed off toward the stairs. We followed him up and down the hall, across from where Chi’s place was. Well, so far so good. He opened the place up for us, and we walked in. It was pretty much the same layout as Chi’s, but just slightly bigger. With a separate bedroom. The place needed a good carpet cleaning. But other than that, it was decent. “We’ll take it.” I said. Even though we still didn’t know exactly who, I wanted them here. And if we needed to furnish it, as we did for Chi, I didn’t care. As long as whoever it was was going to be here across from her, to help keep her safe. We followed the man back to his apartment to sign the lease. “Who has keys to the apartments?” I asked him. “The individual tenants, and myself.” He said. I nodded. He picked up the lease and looked at it. I honestly thought his eyes were going to pop out of his head when he actually looked at the signatures. Jayden put his arm around the man’s shoulders. “Sshh, it’s a secret.” He said to the guy. And he nodded at him, and made like a zipping motion across his lips. “Good man.” Jayden said. Then we left.

JAYDEN: I couldn’t help the chuckle that escaped me as we headed back to the SUV. “Goddess, I thought he was going to piss himself.” I said. As we got in the vehicle. I started it and drove home.
