DERRIC: keeping mother company.” He said. “What are you talking about? What orgies?” “Rolan has been selling Pot to the pack members and throwing orgy parties in the woods. His first one was in our clearing, but he moved his space. We will show you tomorrow.” Jayden said. “He spiked the pot with anise, Ridilyn, and wolfsbane, then he made a separate batch for the she-wolves, and added a hormone that would bring on a mild heat.” They both said. “And why am I just hearing about this now?” “Because we wanted to show you that we were capable of dealing with him and keeping the pack safe.” They said. Well, they were able to do at least half of what they set out to do, but they weren’t as successful in keeping the pack members safe. But at least they are showing progress, and I can’t ask for more than that. I will let them continue with their plans for Rolan, but I will be keeping an eye on them.

CAIDEN: I had one of the guards that I knew I could trust search Rolan’s room. And bag up everything that he found, and bring it to Father’s office. I think I know what he might be planning as far as the girls are concerned; he is going to blame them, say that he bought the stuff from them. But he will be surprised when that backfires on him. I am so looking forward to kicking his ass in more ways than one. And we will be sending him back home in cuffs. And he will never be allowed to come back here. I don’t care if he is mother’s little brother. Well, half, anyway. He won’t be showing his face on our Pack lands again. I wonder what father has in store for mother; she still hasn’t cleaned any of the cells. Oh well, that is for another day, right now it’s time to open our gifts and get dinner underway.

LOUISE: It was getting late, the twins' birthday must be well underway, and suddenly I felt a pain I had never felt before. It was in my stomach, and in my chest, what the hell? But just as quickly, it was gone. What the heck was that? Then I hear a commotion in the hallway. The door bangs open, and they are bringing in Rolan. “Let him go!” I said loudly. But they ignored me, opened a cell across from me, and put him in it, closed and locked the door on him. “Rolan? Rolan talk to me.” I called out to him softly. “I am going to kick your brats’ asses.” He hisses at me. “What happened?” I asked him. I was enjoying the party, minding my own business, sharing a joint with a girl, when the next thing I know, I am grabbed and held for no apparent reason that I can tell.” “You pulled out a joint at the twins’ party?” I asked incredulously. “Yeah, it’s not like it’s illegal anymore,      Louise. And I wasn’t driving, I was parting.” He says to me. “Yeah, ok, then what happened?” I asked him. “Then I was brought down here.” He tells me. “Was Derric there?” I asked him. “Not that I saw, why?” “So, you didn’t see if he was messing around with anyone?” Then, before he can answer me, the door bangs open again, and in walks Vance and Benton, each have one of my best friends from childhood with them. “What is going on?” I yelled. “You get company Luna.” Vance says. “Well, I’m glad someone remembers that I hold a title around here. Let me out.” I tell them. “Nope, sorry, can’t do that, Alpha’s orders.” Benton says. “Why are we here?” Betty calls out. “Oh, I don’t know, maybe for putting your hands on the Alpha where they didn’t belong.” Vance said. “Why am I here?” Lorane asked then. “Oh, maybe because you put your lips on the Alpha where they didn’t belong.” Benton Said. I was shocked. They hit on Derric, and he let them? “What do you mean by they had their hands and lips on Derric?” I asked. “The twins called Derric down to the party, and before he even had a chance to fully step through the door, leading out to the poolside, these two groped and kissed him.” Benton said. I turned to look at my friends. “You did what?!!” I practically shouted. “Hey, don’t blame us, we don’t know what that little shit of a brother of yours put in our joints.” Lorane said. “But you still put your hands on my mate, how could you think that was ok?!!”  I seethed at them. Then I turned to my brother. “Rolan?!!” I seethed through clenched teeth at him. “What? It wasn’t me. I bought my stuff from Cassie, or Carri, whichever one, I can’t tell them apart.” He says. “So, if there is something in it, blame them, not me.” He stated. Looking dead at me. “You lying sack of shit, I’ll beat you bloody boy.” Benton rushed towards Rolan’s cell. Vance stopped him. “Leave it, Benton, let the Alpha sort it out.” “He’s lying!” Benton roared. “I know that, and you know that, so let his actions and his words dig his grave.” Vance said. And pushed him towards the door. I was so furious with all three of them that I wanted to strangle them. “Rolan, what exactly did you do!” I demanded. “I, dear sister, am getting revenge on your behalf.” He said. “And exactly how are you doing that? By getting yourself thrown in here?” I mocked him. “I didn’t lie; your pet gamma twins aren’t the sweet innocent people they pretend to be. I bought my joints from them, and redistributed them among the pack members at my little soirées.” He said. “Goddess Rolan, please tell me you didn’t start your orgy parties again.” I said disappointedly. “Yep. All part of my plan to make him suffer for making you stay down here. I have done nothing wrong, except encourage their own natural instinct to mate.” He popped the p as he made his last statement. All I could do was groan and shake my head.

CHIARA: After all the commotion had settled from Rolan and company getting taken to the cells, dinner was called. Everyone filed through the line, filling their plates and finding a place to sit and eat. Iesha and I took turns; we didn’t want to lose our seats, so she went first, and when she came back, I went. The twins were opening their presents while they, and we, were eating. Calling out thank yous to everyone as they continued to open their gifts. I sat and watched with nervous energy; my legs were bouncing, waiting to see what they did with the necklaces. If they would toss them aside, or would they put them on? I wasn’t sure which way I wanted it to go. I watched as they opened the card. “Look, brother, our favorite card, but again no name.” I heard Jayden say. What? Did I just hear him say it was their favorite card?
