Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 127

CAIDEN: Vince said, holding up his right hand as if he were being sworn in to testify in court. “Well, that works for me.” Mike said. “Thank you, Mike, but it’s late, we will sign the lease Monday morning, but do you think you could let us into her place, so we can spend the night. I promise you won’t get into any trouble with her.” “Ok.” We followed him back down to Chi’s efficiency, and he opened the door for us and let us in. “Thank you, Mike.” I told him and gave him $50. “Thank you, Alpha.” He said and headed back down to his place.

JAYDEN: The minute the door was closed behind Mike. I walked over to the bed and stripped it. I placed everything on the floor so that both of us could sleep with her scent filling our nostrils. Vince grabbed an extra blanket from the closet, and we all stripped down and went to bed. I could at least sleep tonight with her scent, even if I didn’t have her back yet. But I know I will be getting her back. We will have her back tomorrow, I know it, I feel it. And when we have her back safe in our arms, I swear by the goddess that whoever it was that took her will pay with their life. I let the darkness take me under, with that thought in mind. We woke early. I went to the kitchenette, leaving Caiden and Vince to put Chi’s bed back together and the rest of the bedding away. I made us breakfast, taking note of what she had in the refrigerator and the dates on stuff. “We will need to shop for her again.” I said as the other two came to join me in the dining space. “We will, when we get her back.” Caiden said. I nodded. With breakfast over, we all pitched in to clean the dishes and whatever else we needed to do, and then headed out to get back to the search for Chiara.

CHAD: I finally got to have some time with Iesha. I asked her about her first shift and what happened with the fight. I know she is very upset; her best friend is missing, but I know we will find her. I also know that when we do, whoever was behind her disappearance better run and hide, regardless of who they might be. I know the twins won’t hold back, even if it turns out to be their mother. They may show leniency towards her. But I very much doubt it. What, with everything she’s done to manipulate them in the past, and how bad she has shown her disdain for Chi. No, they will not go easy on the Luna if she is behind Chiara’s kidnapping. I spent the night with Esha. No, I did not mate her, not yet, but soon. So, in the morning, I got her up, and after breakfast, we headed to the outbuilding that the twins have set up for their office. The door was still locked when we got there and tried the door. But we didn’t have long to wait before Vince and the twins showed up. Caiden and Vince got out, and Jayden went and parked the SUV.

CAIDEN: I unlocked the door to our office and ushered everyone who was there in. We waited for more of the searchers to show, and when they did, Jayden and I started to pass out the new grids that we made, and we got the searchers broken up into their teams and assigned the grids for them to search in. “PLEASE! LISTEN!” I called out in my Alpha voice. Then once I was sure I had everyone's attention, I continued. “We had a small breakthrough yesterday. So that is why you all have new grids today. Please keep an eye on the ground for any type of disturbance that shouldn’t be there. Keep your ears open for any kind of cries, whimpers, moans, or any small noises that are not animal in nature.” I gave the instructions to the searchers. “And I just want to say thank you too, everybody, who is helping to find your future luna. It means a lot to both my brother and me.” I told the assembled group.

HAYLEY: I had joined in on the search for Chiara. I felt it was the least I could do; she had helped me, so I figured I would help to look for her. When I realized that we were going to search the back of the Packhouse outward towards the woods, I remembered seeing Louise back there. I went and told the twins about it. “Jayden, Caiden, I don’t know if this will help, but I remember seeing your mom back there.” And I pointed in the direction I had seen her in. “She disappeared, I couldn’t see where she went, but then about 5 minutes later I saw her, and she headed back toward the Packhouse.” I told them. “Thank you, Hayley. Do you remember how long ago that was?” Jayden asked me. “No, not exactly, but it was before the rogue attack. I do remember that much.” I told them. They nodded at me. “Thank you again, Hayley. It’s a big help.” I go back and join my search group. And we head out to search the grid area assigned to us.

JAYDEN: I checked the grid assignments and redistributed them. I put Iesha, Chad, and both my brother and myself on the grid that Hayley had pointed out to us. I vaguely remember there was something about that area, but I couldn’t quite put my finger on it. Maybe when we see it, it might spark something, I don’t know, but I know that we will find her. We have to. I assigned Vince to the group Hayley was in; it wasn’t because I didn’t trust her. The fact of the matter is, I did trust her, but if she is correct, she could be in danger, just for helping the search. I wanted her protected, in case we need her as a witness for anything. Vince knew how not just I but my brother as well felt, and he just took up his position. We took up our position, and the search was on.

IESHA: I joined the twins and Chad for the search, only I did things my way; I didn’t go by their grid system. I went back to the spot where I lost the pull from her yesterday. I called on Deena to help. (“Deena, do you think you can feel her through the bond you have with her?”) I asked my wolf. (“All I can do is try.”) She said. (“That’s all I ask.”) I said back.
