Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 78

CAIDEN: We open the door and have Carri enter, then we follow in behind her.

DERRIC: “Carri, what happened today?” I asked her. “I forgot my book in my locker, and I went to get it. If Trent and some other kid hadn’t been in the middle of a fight in front of my locker, I would have been able to get my book and make it to class without a problem. But as they weren’t even hearing me, I had to get in between them and use both my defensive skills and aura to get them to stop fighting. And by that time the bell had rang, making me late for class.” She states. I look at her, and I can tell she is angry. “Do you know who the other student was?” I asked her. “No, Alpha, I don’t.” “Thank you, Carri.” I said. “May I make a request, Alpha?” she asked me. “Ask.” “Can you call Trent Giles in for training?” “No, Carri, I will not allow you to beat the crap out of him under the guise of training. It’s this same kind of thing that got you and the rest of them in trouble in the first place. Remember, you are ranked; he is either an omega or a fighter class, and I won’t let you hurt him.” I tell her. “Yes, Alpha.” She says. I turn my attention to Mrs. Hearts. “Now that we both have heard what happened today, may I ask why you thought it was necessary to give Carri detention?” I asked her. “I’m sorry, Alpha, but without collaborating evidence, if I let every student get away with being late, my class would be continually interrupted.” Mrs. Hearts said. “Very well.” I linked Trent Giles. “Trent, I need you to come back to school now, please.” “Yes, Alpha.”  I closed the link. We had to wait about 15 minutes, and Trent linked me to tell me he was here. “Do you know where Mrs. Hearts’s room is?” “Yes, Alpha.” “Good, I need you to come to her room.” “Yes, Alpha.” 5 minutes later, there was a knock on the door. “Come.” I called out. The door opened and in walked a rather tall guy, built; he looked like he worked out quite a bit. He had dirty ash blond hair and light brown eyes. He was a fairly good-looking kid. “Am I in trouble, Alpha?” “Nothing except for fighting in school.” I said. “I’m sorry, Alpha, but I was defending myself. Dex came at me because I said he needed more work on his ball protective skills.” Trent says. “I got detention because you two idiots were fighting over football?!!!” Carri seethes through clenched teeth. “I didn’t know you’d get detention, but it’s not my fault.” He says to her. “Boys, get Carri out of here and back to the Packhouse.” I tell them. “Yes, Father.” Both boys answer and flank Carri on their way out. “Thank you, Trent, but next time keep your opinions to yourself, and let the coach handle the coaching. You can go now.” I say. “Yes, Alpha.” I turn my attention back to Mrs. Hearts. “Satisfied?” I asked her. “Yes, Alpha. I will endeavor to try to do better with their reasons.” She says to me. “Good. Thank you, Mrs. Hearts.” She bears her neck to me. And I leave.

CARRI: “ I swear by the goddess if Trent or Zane gets anywhere near me from now until graduation, I will break their f**king hands.” “Chill, Carri.” Caiden says. “Chill!? I get detention because those two idiots were fighting about football in front of my locker.” “We know, but blame Rolan, not Trent.” Jayden says. “Explain.” I say. “Because Rolan is behind all of this, I feel it, it’s just what is his end game?” Jayden answers again. “Well, whatever it is, I call a piece of him as well, for getting me in trouble and making me have to do detention.” I tell them. And they chuckle. “Rolan better watch himself, or he will end up getting shipped home in a box.” Caiden laughed, looking at me. I was more than pissed.  

CAIDEN: By the time we get back to the pack house, there isn’t much time left before dinner is called. So, I doubt very much there will be much training done tonight. “Go put your stuff away.” I tell Cari. She heads towards the stairs. “Wait.” Jayden says. “What?” I don’t know, exactly, but go put your backpack in our office.” He tells her. “Ok, but one of you needs to unlock the door.” She says. “Caiden, go with her. I will have Cassie get her backpack and meet you there.” Jayden says. “Ok, but what's on your mind?” I ask him. “I don’t know for sure, but for whatever reason, it seems that he is targeting Car, Cas, and Iesha. I will go and talk to her as well.” Jayden says. I nod and head out and over to our office, unlock the door, and open it for Carri to go in and put her backpack down. And wait for Cassie.

JAYDEN: I link Cassie. *“Cass, I need you to get your backpack and bring it to our office. Don’t ask questions right now, I need to go get Iesha and have her bring her backpack to the office as well.”* I close the link to Cass. And open one to Iesha. *“Iesha, please forgive me, but I need you to bring your backpack to the pack house for me.” “Why?” “I just want you to come with your backpack. I have a feeling that there is more behind the stupid, crazy things that have been happening lately, and I think that you are part of it.” “Umm,  yeah, I guess.” “You can bring Chiara with you if it will help you feel better about being here by yourself.”* I tell her. *“Thank you, I will be there shortly.”* She tells me, and I close the link. And wait.

IESHA: I was with Chiara at the orphanage when I got the link from Jayden. I shuddered when it closed. “Are you alright?” Chi asked me. “Yeah, just Jayden, he wants me to bring my backpack to the packhouse.” “Did he say why?” “No, not really, just that he has some idea behind all the crazy shit that’s been happening lately.” “And he needs your backpack for that?” “I don’t know, but will you come with me?” “Of course I will, I am not about to let my best friend walk into the lion’s den all by herself.” She says, and I can’t help but chuckle. I grab my backpack, and Chi and I head for the Packhouse. I do link my dad on the way there. *“Daddy, Alpha Jayden needs to see me at the Packhouse.” “Did he say why?” “Not really, he says he may have an idea about all the crazy stuff that’s been going on lately.”* I tell him. *“Ok, baby, but if there is any trouble link the Alpha.”*  He tells me. *“I will, Daddy. Love you.” “Love you to baby.”* I close the link. Jayden is waiting for us on the front step when we get there.
