Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 57

CAIDEN: I asked Jay. “The whole thing with Cas, Car, and Esha.” “Yeah, none of that makes sense to me either.” “We have to wait until training is over to find out if anything came of the test that they had the doc do.” He says. I nod. “Ok, but right now you need to stay focused here, and not on them.” I told him. “Yeah, I know.”

ROLAN: I join the twins and their unit for combat training, not that I really care about it that much, but I do need to keep up my strength and abilities, in case things get out of hand at any of my sex parties. I will be the one to take care of it. I noticed the boys were moving a little slowly today. Like maybe they are sore or something. Oh, well, not my problem. “Rolan, you’re with Chad, Collin, pair up with Vince, Steven, you’re with Jayden, Simon, Caiden.” Derric paired us up with the next generation of the ranked unit. How nice. Those of us paired were at my party on Monday. I think I will throw another one this weekend, too. There is time before the Twins’ birthday to get one more in after this weekend as well. I’ll let these guys know and tell them to keep it from the Ranked unit, but to spread the word to make sure we have enough she-wolves to go around. Although some of them like to take on more than one at a time. But right now, it was time to focus on the task at hand, and that was to take down Chad. I don’t play by the rule book, so when I saw how slow the ranked unit was moving, I was going to take full advantage of it. Just one more thing I can add to my list to punish Derric with: beating the crap out of his precious twins.

CHAD: Great, just great. I get paired with the troublemaker. “You ready to get your ass handed to you?” “Don’t be so cocky, dude, you don’t know what I’m capable of.” “We’ll see.” I know what this training is all about. We have to outthink our opponents because we are at a disadvantage due to the wolfsbane in our system. He thinks he has me, even though I am gamma, not going to happen. I hope his wolf can handle getting put on his ass. But that could be the other part of this training. Can we still fight even though we can’t shift? I looked around at who was all there. I know that we could take them without a problem, with our wolves, but having the connection severed, can we still take them on? If they do shift and we can’t. Oh well, there is only one way to find out. And that is exactly what we are going to. I linked the rest of the squad; it was hard to keep the link open, but I was able to do so long enough to send the message. “This is going to be the test of ‘can we still fight’ without our wolves.” I was sweating by the end of the message, and it just closed. I kept my eyes on Rolan, not trusting him in the least, even though he was the twins' uncle. Well, half uncle. “Begin.” I heard the Alpha shout. None of us was ready, but that was the point. But after a couple of hits, we were on our game, and even though we didn’t have our wolves, our training kicked in, and our muscle memory, so we didn’t make complete asses of ourselves.

VINCE: After Chad’s message came through, I also got one from Jayden. “Collin hit on Brandi Monday night after our meeting.” “Got it.” I knew what that message meant. Collin was high on Monday. I wasn’t going to take anything away from Brandi; I knew that if she had wanted to, she would have exacted whatever punishment she might have thought he deserved at the time it happened. It was hard to hold the link, but I received the message. Collin was one of our better fighters, but I also knew I couldn’t use my beta powers, even though I didn’t have access to my wolf. I still could draw on my rank status, but that was not what this training was for. We all need to keep our heads about us and make sure that we come out on top. Without losing our cool. It’s going to be hard, but we have to do it. After the Alpha started the fight, I took a couple of hits, but that was all I took to wake up my body and kick my training into high gear.

JAYDEN: When I saw who Vince was partnered with, I had to tell him about Brandi. It was hard, but I got it sent. But this guy in front of me smelled off, unless it was because I didn’t have my wolf, but something was definitely not right with him. I didn’t trust him either. I know he is one of our better fighters, but I still didn’t trust him. I was smelling something slightly sweet and stimulatingly spicy. It was messing with my head a bit. On top of the wolfsbane, this was going to be a bitch. And I didn’t like it. But I couldn’t ask about it; Father would think I was being a crybaby. However, I am going to accept it as a second-layer challenge to what we are all already going through. But if I find out that whatever this smell is, is part of a ruse to make me fail, I will not hesitate to beat his ass when I am in full control of my abilities. When father shouted, start, I hadn’t gotten fully set yet, and took a couple of good hits from Steven, but after that, it was all me. 

CAIDEN: What is that smell? Something slightly sweet, but yet stimulatingly spicy at the same time. I wonder if the others are smelling it. It’s starting to mess with my senses, the ones I have left anyway. I need to stay focused. But if I find out that this idiot is cheating, I will beat his ass when I am no longer under the influence of the wolfsbane. Simon landed a couple of good, hard punches in a combination attack, but after that, even though I had the wolfbane running through my system, my training kicked in, and my body just did what it needed to do. It was about 10 minutes in, and I guess they were having a hard time with us, even though we were under the influence, because they shifted, all of them, so now we were faced off with their wolves, and it was a fight for survival, not training anymore, and we all knew it. But again, Father let it happen. We had no choice. So, we fought and we fought hard, but with the extra adrenaline spike, the wolfsbane wore off quicker, and we were able to take them down. Not saying we or they weren’t hurting.
