Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 22
DERRIC: I believe she is in shock from the news.” I said. Nurse Baker nodded and went to help with Iesha. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly. I turned on my heels and walked out the door. I had to go deliver more, not-so-good news to Iesha’s parents. “Are you coming?” I growled out to the boys. “Where?” they both asked in unison. “To inform the girl’s parents that she is here in a state of shock because her mind and body could not handle the truth of what happened to her best friend!” I told them. “Why?” “Because she is a member of this pack! and that is part of being a GOOD! Alpha.” I almost yelled and walked out of the clinic. I headed straight to Iesha’s parents' home. I knocked on the door and waited. The boys were with me. Good, their punishment starts now. “Who’s there?” I hear a male voice call out from the other side of the door. “It’s the alpha, Mr. Hill.” I said. The door opened. “Alpha.”… “Oh, Alphas, come in, come in.” He stepped back to allow us entry into his home. I could tell he was very anxious. “Rylan, I assumed you heard the scream earlier?” “Yes, alpha, we did. I think that the whole pack heard it.” “Yes, and I am here to tell you that that was Iesha. She had just heard from me that her best friend is in the hospital, in a coma. I am sorry, I didn’t realize it would send her into a state of shock. She is now in the clinic. I took her there myself. I will take you there if you like?” “No, thank you, Alpha, I appreciate the offer, but I will get my wife, and we will go ourselves.” He said, not even looking at the boys. So, he, too, knows that this has been going on as well. I thought. I just nodded to him. “If you need anything, Rylan, please let me know.” “What I need is for you to do a full investigation into who has been beating up our children! This is the second time in a month that Chiara has been in the clinic with no consequences to whoever has put her there. And now, because of it, my child is there.” He said with a harshness in his voice. “I promise you, Rylan, I will do a full investigation into who has been doing these attacks.” I said. He nodded and then made a point of glancing at the twins, and quickly looked down at the floor. We will leave you to take care of your daughter. I headed to the door. The boys followed me out. Once outside, I turned to the boys. “This is why I will now have to do a full investigation, going back to the conversation we had earlier, to find the pattern of incidents, look for any witnesses, and if I have to, I will Alpha command them to tell me the truth of what they saw, heard, and know.” I tell the boys through clenched teeth. And watch their faces. I see them blanch slightly, but they recovered quickly. I head back to the Pack house and my office. And leave the boys to stew in their own juices, as it were. When I got to my office, a thought hit me. I linked Nathan. “Can you please send me a list of every young person who ended up in the clinic at the time of the Prom/Party, and when they started as a regular incident? And if possible, what they were wearing?” “What were they wearing? Is there a reason for that?” “Yes, Nathan, there is, so if it is in the reports, please include it in your report to me.” “Yes, Alpha.” “Thank you, Nathan. And again, not a word to anyone.” “Yes, Alpha.” I closed the link. I pulled up the calendars from the past 4 years to start with. I put in the parameters of what I wanted in the search bar, of what I was suspecting. My hunch so far was panning out. I went back 4 more years. And 3 out of the 4 it was there. I made a copy of the pattern I found so that I had it as evidence to show the ranked wolves. For the past 7 years, she has left the pack to go to family, friends, and vacations. Smart, so she made herself scarce, so she wouldn’t be here to have to deal with any fallout or not have blame directed at her. Well, not this time.
JAYDEN: I opened a link to my brother as we went back to our rooms. “Do we come clean to him, and let him know it was Mom?” “We will have to do punishment.” “I know, but it may go in our favor if we fess up to it, get ahead of the fallout, you heard him, he said he would Alpha command witnesses. And Blake was there tonight; he witnessed everything. This way, we may be able to minimize the blowup.” I replied. “ It could help.” I see him nod. “When do you want to tell him?” “We need to tell him before Mom gets back. That way, maybe we can get him to be calm when he confronts her.” “You don’t think he would do anything to her, do you?” “Hard to say, if he is pissed enough, he could. I do know that she won’t get off Scott free.” “What do you think he will do to us?” “I don’t know.” “What would you do to us, if it were us in his shoes?” “Time in the cells at the minimum, lashes with silver, both.” I see him shiver at his own words. I nod.
CAIDEN: “Do we let the others know what we are going to do?” “It would only be fair to them; otherwise, they will catch worse hell and be blindsided.” “True, and then they will be pissed at us as well.” I see him nod. “I will tell them in the morning. Right now, I am going to go to bed; it may be the last time I am in my bed for a while after we tell him.” I see him nod at my words. And we both enter our rooms and close the doors. This is not going to be good, I know. : But I also know that it will go a long way to showing him that we know we fucked up, and to showing him that we can, and will take responsibility for our part in Mom’s schemes. It just remains to be seen whether Mom deflects or not. If she does, then the girls could end up on the short end of everything. I will have to make them understand that it could be a possibility, and Mom isn’t the end-all, be-all that they think she is. I crawl under my covers and drift off to sleep.
IESHA: I came to with the sound of beeping in my ear. I know that sound. What happened that I am in the clinic?
