Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 8
CHIARA: I tell her. “Every patient gets it, so it is meant for you as well.” “Not if the Luna doesn’t want the humans to have it, it’s not. And she usually doesn’t want us to have it.” I tell her. “So, before I eat any of this, you'd better check with the Luna.” I say to her. “Never you mind, I will take responsibility, you just eat.” She tells me. “I don’t want you to get into trouble because of me; there are enough people around here who already hate me; I don’t need to add the clinic staff to that list. By the way, why am I in the staff wing? I was perfectly fine in general admission.” “Ha, no, you weren’t, and from now on, if or when you are ever admitted again, this is where you will be. There will be no more trading out blood bags for you!” She tells me. SHIT!! They figured it out. “Why?” “Why what?” I asked her. Why did you do it?” “Why do I want his blood running through my veins? I’m a human. Why would he care? I am not one of “their” precious pack members. The Luna would just as soon see me dead as being here getting blood from her precious mate.” I tell her. “Well, I can’t speak to that, eat, and when you're done, you will get another bag, and hopefully by this time tomorrow you will be able to leave.” “Well then, bring it on. The sooner I can get out of here, the better it will be for all of us.” I tell her. And I started to eat.
FLORENCE: That was an interesting conversation; to say the least, I think I am going to have a talk with Nurse Baker about what she said. Because if it is true, I really don’t want my head chewed off by the Luna. I link Nurse Baker. “Nurse Baker, I just had a rather interesting conversation with Chiara. And I was wondering if what she said is true?” “Well, that would depend on what she said.” “That the Luna would not want the humans to have the stew.” “Ah, yes, it probably is very true, the Luna does not appreciate the humans. Don’t worry, I will take full responsibility for her.” “She also said that she didn’t want to have the clinic staff hate her; she already had enough people who hated her.” “What else did she say?” “We talked about why she traded the blood bags out.” “What did she say to you about that?” “Again, just why would she want the Alpha’s blood running through her veins? And what does he care? She is only human, not a pack member.” “Thank you for telling me. I will take it from here. Just please make sure that she eats and gets that last bag.” “Yes, Nurse Baker.” I close the link.
NURSE BAKER: I open a link to the Alpha. “Alpha, I think we may have a problem on our hands.” “How so?” “It’s Chiara, sir; she just made a very telling statement to Nurse Florence.” “What did she say?” “Why would she want your blood running through her veins? why would you even care? She is only a lowly human and not a pack member.” “SHIT. Ok, thank you.” “Welcome.”
ALPHA DERRICK: Now I really do need to pay close attention to what the hell has been going on around here, and if Louise is targeting the orphans, I will put a stop to it. And as for Chiara not going to the Prom/Party, I will Alpha command her if I have to. I linked the school’s principal to prepare a list of any of the other orphans who haven’t attended and are eligible.
CHIARA: After dinner, which was excellent by the way, they came with the blood bag and a sedative. “Do I really need the sedative?” I asked the aide who brought it. “Yes, can’t have you wandering around after hours to find someone to switch it out with.” He tells me. “Fine. Hey? Do you think you can ask Nurse Baker to come in?” “I will ask her when I see her.” “Thank you.” “You’re welcome.” A couple of minutes later, he leaves. A short time after that, Nurse Baker comes in. “You wanted to see me?” “Yes, do you think I can get out early?” I asked her. “That will depend on how well your concussion has healed.” “Ok, thank you.” “Welcome. Is there anything else?” “No, I was just hoping that I could get out early, is all.” “Like I said, that will depend on how well your concussion has healed. Get some sleep; other than the Alpha’s blood, rest is the next best thing to help you heal.” She says, and I drift off to sleep.
JAYDEN: Dinner was excellent, the venison was cooked to perfection, the potatoes were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The salad was dressed with a creamy and tangy Italian dressing, perfect. The only thing left was to get the targets for this year’s prom/party.
CAIDEN: Dinner was perfect in every way. Mom outdid herself with it. I couldn’t wait to find out who she wanted targeted for this year's party/prom. We had a special code that we used; usually, it was the first name that she spoke to us, just in casual conversation, so that Dad wouldn’t catch on. “I heard that Chiara was in the clinic again. I swear that girl is such a klutz.” Mom said. “Yes, she is in the clinic, but you don’t get bruised and cracked ribs, a bruised spine, and a concussion from being a klutz.” Father said. “I heard that she took a tumble backwards down a flight of stairs, dear.” Mom said. Dad just shook his head. Well, that gave us one target, but we need the other one. “Have you spoken to Branden? Yet dear, about getting those plants that I wanted?” “No, not yet, but I will speak to him tomorrow,” Dad said. I look at my brother with a knowing look. He grins.
LUNA LOUISE: Now that the boys have their targets, they can pass them along. Now I just have to go get the Shirt and the dress for them, to actually mark them as the targets. It will teach Branden that he can’t just go around bragging that, because he hasn’t had any trouble with the Ranked squad that he can brag about it. After dinner was finished, we all went into the sitting room. “So, how was training?” I asked the boys. “It was intense for some of it. We saw one Alpha met out justice to some of his pack members that had caused dissent within the pack, which seemed a bit harsh, it felt a bit unfair, and one-sided.” Jayden said.
ALPHA DERRICK: “How so?” “There were four members, who were accused of causing the problem, vs the one doing the accusing. Evidence was given, but it seemed flimsy, and some of it almost felt fabricated.” Caiden said. “Did they say what the problem was?” I asked the boys. “Something to do with the four accused covertly bullying a different Pack member.”
