Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 119
JAYDEN: I lead the way down the back stairs and through the kitchen and down those stairs into the cells. I nodded at the guard at the door. He looked a little surprised to see my brother and me there, but I think he was even more surprised that we had Chiara with us. Not that he knew who she was, but that she was with us. “Do not let anyone enter without calling out to us first. Understood?” “Yes, Alpha.” He answered. We made our way down to the cells where Mitch, Trent, and Zane were. “Gentlemen. We are going to ask you some questions, and depending on your answers, will determine whether you get out early and what your punishment will be going forward.” I said. That got all three of their attentions rather quickly. “First, can you tell me, or describe the guard that was on duty last night?” I asked. “ It was Kirk.” All three of them answered. “Good.” “Did you see who let Rolan out?” They all three hesitated and answered no. So that told me Mother did get to them. No problem. “Did you hear the Luna clearly last night?” I asked them. “Yes, Alpha.” They all three said. “Can you tell me anything about what she said?” I asked them. I watched them, and I saw the sweat break out on their foreheads, which told me everything. “Don’t worry. I understand.” I told them. “Did Rolan say anything?” Caiden asked them. “No, he just followed the Luna.” They all said. “Ok, here is what is going to happen: all three of you will be attending summer classes to make up what you missed. Then you will be going to warrior training at Meadow Lake for the rest of the summer. No, you will not be getting back on any of the sports teams. But be thankful that we are going to let you out. If you get contacted by Rolan, Simon, or any other person connected with either one of them, link one of us immediately. Understood?” I said, waving my hand between Caiden and myself. “Yes, Alpha.” All three of them said in unison. “By the way, Mitch, Iesha is Chad’s mate, so if you don’t want trouble, stay away from her.” I tell him. “Yes, Alpha.” “Who planted the drugs on the girls?” Caiden asked. “We did, at Rolan’s request.” All three of them answered again. “I want that in writing, then once that is done, you will be able to go home.” Caiden tells them. And they are eager to do as we asked. They even wrote that mother was in the cells last night. And because we didn’t ask for that, they could put it in writing. By passing her command. They just earned themselves extra points for that information. They also put in the names of some of Rolan’s regulars at his orgy parties. Which, again, was not asked for, but earned them extra points.
CAIDEN: After we got the guy’s written statements and got them up out of the cells, I was getting hungry. We didn’t get breakfast with everyone else, so on our way back up to see father, we made a quick stop in the kitchen to grab plates and whatever was left from breakfast, so we had something to eat. Carrying our plates with us, we made our way back to father’s office, but mother spotted us coming from the kitchen. “What the hell is she doing here! The doctor said that she can’t work yet, so why is she in the house!?” Mother screeched at us, and Chi. I felt Chi stiffen, through the bond, I felt her panic, at the sound of mother’s voice. She was rooted to the spot. She actually started to look around for somewhere to hide or escape to. I nearly dropped my plate because I ran into her. I ignored mother’s outburst and spoke calmly to Chiara. “Chi, you’re ok, she isn’t going to hurt you. I won’t let her.” I said soothingly to her. And Jayden stepped in between mother and Chiara, blocking mother’s view of her. “You will watch your tone with our mate MOTHER!” Jaden seethed in her face. “YOU would do well to THANK her, she is the one who fought with the rogues last night, helping to keep the Pack safe!” He told her through clenched teeth. I kept my focus on Chiara, keeping her calm. I moved her towards the back stairs away from mother and other prying eyes. “Go to father’s office. We will be there after we deal with Mother. I promise.” I tell her and watch as she starts up the stairs. Then I turn back to mother, and her tantrum. “You need to get this through your head! MOTHER! We are not going to reject her, no matter what you think! We are no longer under your complete and blinded influence. We are going to take the Pack over, and it will be ours to guide, ours to protect. And that means the orphans, humans, as well as the omegas and everybody else in this pack. And if you don’t like it, you can leave.” I said, keeping my voice even. I think it scared her. Because she took a step back from me, and she was looking at me like I had two heads. “You would kick me out?! I’m your mother!” She was practically in tears. “If you can’t show our mate the respect that she deserves, the same respect you demand. Then yes, we would kick you out.” I tell her. “It’s a miracle in and of itself that she hasn’t rejected us for everything that we did to her, things that you orchestrated, by the way, using us to do those things. Well, no more, not us, and not our unit. So, get used to mother.” I said, but it wasn’t only me speaking; Steel made his presence known as well, to let mother know he agreed with what I had just said. I turned, and I saw that Jaden was beside me, and Axel, too, made his presence known, again, letting mother know that they, too, stood by my words. Then we both turned and headed up to Father’s office.
LOUISE: Those ungrateful brats. How dare they say they will kick me out? I am their mother; they can’t just kick me out. And as for thanking that insignificant little bitch. NEVER. I will make her pay for turning my boys against me. Friday can’t get here soon enough. Then I will make her disappear. I notice that everybody is staring. “What are you all looking at? Get back to work!” I snapped. And then I left the kitchen to go about my duties.
DERRIC: I had breakfast sent up to me. After the boys and Chiara left to go down to the cells, I had a lot of work to catch up on. From all the extra training I had put the boys through, I had let some of the day-to-day issues slide. So, I had a lot to catch up on. I was in the middle of a financial report of the weekly expenses
