Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 95
CHIARA: “And you have a wolf now?” Mrs. Hill asked. “Yes, ma’am.” I answered. “Come, let’s go to the back yard, shall we? We don’t want a bunch of prying eyes.” Mr. Hill said. I nodded and followed them into their backyard. I went to the side of the house that the neighbor's garage was closest to, to strip out of my clothes. I didn’t have many, so I needed to keep the ones I had decent. (“Ready? Thena?”) I asked her. (“Ready.”) She replied. And I shifted. And we walked out into Esha’s backyard. She had her phone ready and took several pictures for me of Thena. “Oh my. She is large.” Mrs. Hill said. Thena turned to look at her and nodded. “We are Beta, and goddess kissed.” Thena answered. (“Thena? What do you mean? Goddess kissed?”) I asked her. At the same time as Iesha’s parents asked too. “We carry the favor your specific circumstances, she allows me a little extra leeway to help you.” She answers both of us. Me and the Hills. “You are very beautiful. May I ask your name?” Mrs. Hill asked. “I am Thena, after the Greek goddess Athena.” She answered them. “Your markings are quite unique; I have never seen perfect boots and on opposite sides like that.” Mr. Hill said. And I could feel the pleasure she felt at being admired. I just had to smile. (“Thena, don’t let it go to your head.”) I said to her. (”Harrumph”) She sent back to me. (“But I think it’s time to change back, we have to help Iesha study, and I can’t do that in your form, no affiance.”) I said to her. (“None taken.”) She answers back. And we go back to where we left my clothes to change back. Then once I was back to me, we went inside and up to Iesha's room, where she proceeded to show me all the pictures she took. I picked the ones that I wanted printed. There were only three out of the dozen or so that she took. Then we got into her homework. Until dinner, then I left to go back to the orphanage.
IESHA: I was happy for Chi. But I was also scared for her. What she said about the luna was the absolute goddess’s truth. And I didn’t want to lose her to the Luna’s machinations of malice. But I don’t know what I can do for her, either. But what I did know was that I was going to show the twins her wolf and let them know what she said. I know she may not be accepting of that, but I just have a feeling they are going to need to know. And I know she isn’t going to tell them on her own. So, after dinner, I did the one thing I hated to do. And that was, let one of the ranked squad inside my head. I reached out to Brandi; she is at least the least offensive one for me. “Brandi?” “Iesha?” “Wait, how did you know it was me?” “We have had a few conversations now, I know what, and how you feel like inside my head.” She said. “So, what can I do for you?” she asked me. “I need the twins’ phone numbers.” I told her. “Why?” “Because I need to send them some information.” I said. “Iesha, if it is important, just link them; they aren’t going to bite you for it.” She said. “I have images I need to send them, as well.” I said. “Fine.” She sent me the twins’ phone numbers. So, I sent a text to them. \[This is Iesha, I have some pictures that I want to share with you. They are of Thena.\] Then I sent them the pics. Followed by another text. \[She says she is a Beta wolf and is goddess-kissed. What that means, I have no idea, she says she holds the goddess’s favor though.\] Then I closed the text app and went back to my homework.
BRANDI: The minute the link was closed with Iesha, I opened one to the twins. “Iesha is going to text send you something she deems important. I told her to just link you. But she insisted, so I gave her both your numbers.” “Thanks for the heads up, and it’s fine.” They sent back, and I closed the link.
CAIDEN: Mother joined us for dinner, and it was a bit awkward. Neither Jayden nor I had much to say to her. We were just waiting for her to drop the bomb on us about not accepting Chiara. And no matter what, that was not going to happen. But what we got was not what we were expecting in the least. Mother didn’t even bring Chiara up. It left us wondering if Father had even told her.
LOUISE: “We should throw a mating ball.” I deadpanned at dinner. “We can hold it after graduation. In late June, maybe the first part of July, that way the girls will be 18, and might just get lucky enough to find their mates, along with both the Beta and Gamma.” I continued to add. I know what they were expecting, and I wasn’t going to play into their hands. And this way I could work it a bit more subtly. Rather than just fighting against them, accepting that good-for-nothing human. And if I can get them into bed with some other deserving she-wolf, I won’t have to worry about them rejecting her, she will do it herself, feeling the betrayal threw the bond. If indeed they truly are mates. Which I very much doubt. The goddess wouldn’t be that cruel to me.
JAYDEN: I looked at Caiden. Mother had a point, but I wasn’t going to give her the satisfaction of letting her know that we agreed with her. Then, after dinner was done and we got the link from Brandi. I looked at him again, and he just shrugged. But then both our phones dinged with Iesha’s message and the pictures of Thena. Goddess, she was beautiful. And goddess-kissed? What the heck did that mean? I guess we would have to wait and find out. I couldn’t help it, I picked my favorite of the pictures she sent, and made it both my home and lock screen. I noticed that Caiden did the same. I flashed him my pick, and he did the same to me. We both sat there with grins on our faces, not paying attention to what mother was saying.
DERRIC: I noticed the boys weren’t paying attention to what Louise was saying, but I was. And quite frankly, I didn’t trust her, but I would have to wait and see where she was headed with this whole mating ball issue. And the fact that she said nothing about Chiara being mated to the twins raised several red flags. She would normally fight against something she didn’t believe in, or was not her idea in the first place. So, when she didn’t even bring it up, it was a huge red flag. I don’t trust her. Not anymore. But I do agree with some of what she is saying, wolves are happiest when they have their mates.
