Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 89

LOUISE: “Guard!” I called out. “Yes, Luna?” “Bring me whatever it is I need to get these cells cleaned.” I said to the guard. “Yes, Luna.” He answered and walked away from me, only to return a couple of minutes later with what looked like a prison coverall suit, the cleaning supplies, and a mop and bucket. I chanced into the suit, grabbed the mop and bucket. “Where do I start?” I asked the guard. “This way.” He said and let me out of my cell. But he also had another guard follow behind me, so there was no chance of my escaping. That’s ok, I will get out, and then I will make sure that my boys understand that she is not going to be Luna. Only over my dead body will she ever get that privilege. The little bitch. By lunch, I had 3 of the cells cleaned, and they were inspected. I was returned to my cell, and we were all fed lunch. After lunch, I went to the next set of cells. I got the next set of 3 cleaned. Dinner was served, but I worked halfway through the prisoners' dinner hour. I had all the required cells cleaned by the time they had finished. And I was returned to my cell. I waited for them to inform Derric, and I could be released to go and join my family for their/our dinner.   

CHIARA: After the twins left the room and the door was closed. (“You can come back now, Chi, they are gone”) Thena calls out to me. (“I’m sorry, Thena, but I just can’t do it. I can’t believe that the bond can be all-encompassing as to make you forget all the bullying and trauma that they put me through, or encouraged.”) I said to her. (“It’s Ok, Chi, that’s why the goddess sent me to be your wolf. I will help you through this. And in the end, you will see that the bond indeed heals most all wounds.”) (“Most all?”) (“Betrayal of your mate. It’s the only thing that the bond will not tolerate. Now get back to your tests.”) (“Yes, mam!”) I said and saluted her. I worked on my tests until lunch, then I met Iesha at our usual table. “I have mates.” I whispered to her. “WHAT!?” she exclaimed loudly. “Sshh.” I shushed her. “Who?” she asked, a bit more quietly. “The twins.” I whispered to her. “Oh, Chi.” I caught the quiver in her voice. “It’s ok, Esha, I am not going to reject them, I couldn’t do that to Thena, she deserves her mates. But I don’t have to participate.” I told her. “But then you are rejecting them. You’re just not saying the words.” She tells me. “I can’t see how the mate bond can allow for that kind and level of forgiveness, and I’m not even sure that’s the right word, for everything they have done.” I said to her with tears in my eyes. “But let’s go eat.” I said, wiping my eyes. She nods. And we get in line. “How are the tests going?” she asked as we were getting our lunch. “Pretty good, I think, but I won’t know until the end of the week if I passed or not.” I said to her. “I wish you all the luck to pass them.” Esha said as we were walking back to our table.

DERRIC: I got the link from the guard. Louise is finally cleaning the cells. Do I trust that she has an ulterior motive? Hell yes. I believe that wholeheartedly. But she at least cleaned the cells to get herself out of them. I will have to let the boys know, and the rest of my unit. And their mates, so that everyone is aware and can try to help keep an eye on her. I don’t trust her not to try and pull some stunt. Whether or not she does it herself or gets somebody else to do her dirty work, now that the kids are on to her manipulations, they will know better than anyone how she operates. So, to keep an eye open for that as well. I will wait until lunch to tell them the ‘good news’, so to speak.

CHAD: Following the twins to the school was a slap in the face with reality. Chiara is our Luna. I don’t think she will ever trust us to protect her after everything that has happened. Oh, goddess, this is a mess, and I know it’s our doing. But to some of our defense, we were following the Luna’s orders. But, with everything, I’m not sure if my aura would even work on her. She fears all of us. I really don’t know what to do now. I just pray to the goddess to help guide me to take care of her.

VINCE: I can’t even imagine what the twins are going through right now. Chiara has not accepted them, but said she will not reject them. I don’t even know how the hell that is even possible? I thought the mate bond would help ease things. I mean, everything I have seen or learned tells us that it overcomes pretty much everything, except mate betrayal. I will do everything I can to help them. If it is within my power to do so. I need to let my sister know. “Valen, the twins found their mate.” I told her. “Really? That’s fantastic, who is it?” She asked enthusiastically. “Yeah, not so fantastic, it’s Chiara.” I said. “Oh goddess! No! What do we do, Vince? With everything that we have done to her? What will happen to us?” She asked in a panic. “Calm down, I don’t think anything will happen right now. Let the others know, but other than the girls, keep it to yourselves. Understood?” “Yes.” She answered. I closed the link. I don’t care if the twins wanted them to know; I wanted them to know so that they could help monitor things at school. If anything got out of hand, they could step in and protect her. And to make sure Valen of all people kept her head about her. And not go off the deep end on her. I know my sister, and she can fly off the handle because of her temper. And we don’t need any more incidents in that regard. I don’t know why, but I have a very unsettled feeling right now. 

VALEN: I waited until lunch, and when all of us girls were together, I dropped the bomb on them. “I have some news. But you all have to stay calm, and can’t react over much to what I am going to tell you. And after I do tell you, you have to keep it to yourselves. Until it gets announced publicly.” I tell them. “Damn Valen! Dramatic much?” Brandi said. “Hey, I’m just passing on the news, and when you hear what it is, you won’t be thinking that.” I said. “Ok, so tell us, already.” The gamma twins said in unison. “The twins found their mate.” I whispered to the table.
