LOUISE: “Alright, calm down, I will have to try to figure out some way to get you out. But right now, I need to know what you used, what you spiked it with. And who your supplier is, and can they take on working with pheromones?” I asked him. He whispered the name of his head chemist. “Talk to him, and he will figure out what you need and how much of it.” He said. “Now what’s the story with Betty and Lorane?” I asked him. “I did lace some of the pot with a hormone that mimics a mild heat. And I might have slipped it to them.” He says with that half-sided smirk that I just want to smack off his face. But once I had the information I needed, I left. Now I just need to figure out a way to get the three of them out. And get the product that I needed made. I’m not going to rush this. I need to take the time and make sure that they, being Derric and the boys, don’t suspect anything. But I also need to make sure that I have everything in place for when we throw the mating ball. That will be the perfect cover for what I have planned. I grin to myself and head to find Shannon and Meisha to start the planning for both the graduation and the mating ball.

CAIDEN: After we were done with our evening training, I headed to our office building, and I checked to see if the list was there. Yes! I pumped the air. The list was there. I grabbed it and headed to the Packhouse. I sent a link to the rest of our ranked group. “The list came in. After dinner, meet up in the game room.” I sent. And I looked around, and I saw them all nodding. I grinned. Now, let’s just hope that someone on the list will be willing to flip on Rolan. After dinner was over, we all went to the game room. I grabbed a notebook and a pen, and I started to divide up the list so that everyone had at least 6 people on their list. Once that was done, we started to make calls and speak to the warriors who were involved with the incident back then. When we started, I was not sure what to expect or what we would find, but the more people we called, the more people said yes to us. Seems that Rolan crossed a few people the wrong way. So, when we told them what we were going to do, we ended up with at least 6 people who said they would help. Including a she-wolf that said she wanted a paternity test done on her pup to make Rolan take responsibility for her pup. I told her that we would definitely do that for her, but that our ultimate goal was to have him executed. “I don’t care if he dies; he needs to acknowledge our pup!” “We will do our best to make that happen.” I told her. I got her information copied and wished her well, and told her we would be in touch when the trial was set. Then I hung up. Again, I pumped the air. “Yes! Yes! Yes!” I was elated. “We got him. We need to get the doc to take a DNA sample from him.” I said. “That should be easy enough.” Vince said. We all nodded.

CHIARA: Friday morning, once breakfast was over and I had helped clean up the kitchen, I headed out to see if I could find a place to move to. I went towards the manufacturing area of the Pack to see if there was anything there. It wasn’t the greatest neighborhood, but it was affordable. For the most part, it wasn’t too far from the shop where I got the job. I got lucky; there was an efficiency that had been vacant for a while. I spoke with the property manager and convinced him to allow me to rent the place at a discounted rate for a year. Considering that it had stood empty for so long. Some money is better than no money. I felt elated that I got a place to live. Now I need to go and talk to the head cook about getting my hours changed. And I needed to get some form of transportation. One of those bikes with the wide,/fat tires, that should work for me, we do get snow here, but I heard those tires will work in snow. Fingers crossed. I head to the Packhouse. I got there close to lunchtime. “Lenny, can we talk really quick?” “It will have to be, I have a Pack to feed.” He said. “I would like to change my schedule, I have a good reason, though.” I rushed my words before he could get too angry at me. “It had better be. So, speak.” “I found a part-time job. I will need to be there on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. So can I change to Mondays and Tuesdays?” “Chi, you know that you can’t be working that much. The doctor told you that. If you have a job now, concentrate on that and don’t worry about the Packhouse.” Lenny said. “But if I don’t work in the Packhouse, the Luna will send someone to hurt me!” I said quietly and panicked. Looking around to make sure no one was near to hear me. “Look, Chi, she probably won’t even notice that you are not even here. Ok. So don’t worry about it, and if anything does happen, tell the Alpha. He is showing signs of being fed up with her antics anyway, and he will put a stop to her! Now I have to get back to work.” He said and turned to fill the steam table for serving. I leave and head back to the orphanage to let Miss Blair know that I have found a job and a place to move to, so that she can refigure the rooms. And I can pack up my things. (“We need to go shopping. I need a dresser and a bed.”) I tell her. (“But I don’t know how I’m going to get it to the efficiency.”) I said. (“Maybe they have a delivery person or service?”) Thena said. (“I will have to ask.”) I said. She nodded. I grabbed my money and headed out. First to get a bike. I was in luck; I actually found a used trike? I guess it’s called; it had the three wheels, and it had the fat tires that I wanted. A wire basket is attached to the back of it. That is perfect, I will be able to put my things in the basket to transport them to the efficiency.
