Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 18

CHIARA:  I’m human, and it hurts my ears. “Esha, I am going to get some water.” I tell her. And head to the drinking fountain in the hallway. I bent down to get the water and felt my head pushed down with force. My chin hit the edge of the fountain, and my teeth hit the spicket. I broke a tooth I hit so hard. So it begins, I thought. I don’t know who hit me from behind. I was too busy trying to stop the bleeding from where my chin hit to look. And then I filled up my water bottle as well. I made my way back to Iesha. “It’s started.” I whispered to her. “Oh, goddess Chi! Do you want me to get the Alpha?” “What is he going to do? He alpha commanded me to be here. Listen, don’t drink anything but water, and only what you get yourself.” I tell her. She nods her understanding. We danced to a couple of songs when the twins made their entrance. Both of them were dressed in Pack colors. However, they wore green shirts and dark silver-gray slacks. Every head in the place turned when they came in. I ignored them as best as I could. I walked over to the bleachers, climbed to the top row, and sat down. I watched as they scanned the crowd. I knew who they were looking for, and Brandon made it easy for them. He wore the fucking shirt. It was the same kind Jace got. I just shook my head. There were a total of 5 humans at the prom/party this year. Thank the goddess for that small blessing anyway. I scanned the area myself, looking to see if I could spot any of the other humans. I did, they were over by the punch bowl table, trying hard not to be noticed, they knew just like I did what was going to happen to them tonight. I turned to Esha. “I might as well go and get this over with.” I said to her. “Chi!” “Hey, it’s ok, I am walking into this with my eyes open, they won’t know what hit them when all is said and done. I think the Alpha has his own plans for them.” I said to her. “And if not, tell your parents to request a transfer to a better pack.” I see the tears in her eyes as I get up and walk back down the bleachers and out the back doors of the gym.

JAYDEN: I entered the gym with my brother and the rest of our ranked wolves. I scan the crowd, and I spot Brandon in the middle of a group of girls acting like a big shot, thinking that he is privileged. He will learn his place tonight. I pointed him out to the guys. And they went and joined his little group. “I don’t see Chiara.” I said. “I do; she is walking out the back doors.” Caiden said. “But she isn’t wearing the dress.” I look in the direction he stated. Sure enough, she is walking out the back doors and headed to the party clearing, as if she knows. But why is she not wearing the dress? She would have looked good in it. Now I’m curious. “I wonder why she isn’t wearing the dress? Didn’t she get it?” I linked my brother. “I’m sure she did, mother would have made sure of it. But I am curious about it as well, brother.”                                                                                           

CAIDEN: After closing the link with my brother, I pointed Chiara out to the girls, and they set out after her. I inclined my head to where the guys were with Brandon. “Time to get this party started.” I say to him. He nods. And we head over to where the guys are. I step through the ring of girls surrounding him. “Ladies, we are just going to borrow Brandon here for a bit.” I say as I step up to him and throw my arm around his shoulders. “Don’t worry, ladies, I shall return.” He tells them. I smile to myself. And head to the back doors of the gym and out into the night. We went to the clearing, and I spotted Chiara sitting on one of the bench seats. Jaiden moved to go sit next to her. And I pulled Brandon with me over to the make-shift bar. “Let's get you a real drink.” I say to him. He nods enthusiastically.

JAYDEN: “Chi, didn’t you receive Mother’s gift?” “Umm, sorry, I thought there was a mistake; she would never give someone like me a gift.” She stated. “I gave it away.” She stated. I don’t know if I believe her, but I can’t do anything about it without giving anything away. “Let me get you a drink.” I say to her. “No, thank you, Jayden. I am not legal. I will just stick with water.” She said. “This is a party. You should let go and party with us.” I said. She just looked at me, like I had two heads. I noticed what she was wearing. I know that the shirt was Jace’s, and I understand what She was saying by wearing it. But everything was already in motion. I watched as she opened her water bottle and took a swallow, then closed it back up. I guess she knows. Oh well. I get up and leave her to the girls.                                                                                                                                                                      

CHIARA: Yeah, I lied to Jaden. Do I think he bought it? Not really, but there is nothing he can do about it. After he left me alone, Valen came over and started in. “What are you doing here, fat pig?” she asked. I didn’t answer. “This is our Party, bitch, you don’t belong here.” And she punched me in the face hard, which reopened the cut I got on my chin from earlier. “Go ahead, do your worst, Valen. I have no choice but to be here.” “What are you talking about? Bitch.” “Oh, I see they didn’t tell you, did they?”  I just chuckled. As I looked at Jayden and Caiden. I knew they heard me. Then I felt something get dumped over my head. It was whatever Cassie was drinking. I blew out of my mouth like when you come up from underwater, so that I wouldn’t take any of it in. Then she smacked me in the back of the head. I just sat there. There was no use in trying to fight back; it would only make things worse, and I truly wanted to make it to 18. I heard the fighting from over by the bar area, and I knew that Brandon was trying to fight back; that was on him, for bragging that he had an in with the ranked squad. I didn’t really feel sorry for him. I was pushed off the seat and onto the ground, and Brandi started kicking me. Then the gamma twins joined her. I vaguely heard Valen ask Caiden what I meant by not having a choice. Ha. Brandi punched me several times in the face, and I could feel my eyes swelling, and my head was bouncing off the ground with every hit.
