Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 79

IESHA: “Thank you for coming. I know that the two of you don’t trust us, and I don’t blame you, but please come with me. I want you to be with all of us. I believe that Mitch secretly likes you and that he is using you for something; it’s the ‘what’ that we are trying to figure out, but we also believe that Rolan is behind everything that Mitch, Trent, and Zane are doing. He says. Chi and I follow behind him, and he leads us to an outbuilding, which is not too far from the Packhouse, just far enough away to give a false sense of privacy. Jayden opened the door and ushered us in. We walked in and saw all 8 of the ranked squad sitting around the space. We nodded to each of them. “I know that this is a bit unsettling for both of you.” Caiden said. “But we think that Rolan is up to something, and it involves the three of you.” Caiden pointed at Cassie, Carri, and me. “We want you to empty your backpacks, everything, including areas or pockets that you wouldn’t normally use.” Jayden said. I looked at the gamma twins, shrugged my shoulders, and did what he asked. My backpack had wheels on it, so the frame was metal, and there was a pocket, or pouch, that the fabric made to cover the metal structure. I don’t use it, but I stuck my hand down inside of it and pulled out two plastic baggies. It looked like there were joints in them. I dropped the baggies as if I was burned. “What the heck!” I said and stepped back from where I dropped them. I looked over at the Gamma Twins, and Cassie also had two baggies, but Carri only had one. “Ok, that is weird.” Cassie said. “We went through our backpacks before, and didn’t find these.” She said. “But you went through it quickly; this time it was slow and methodical, not missing anything.” Jayden said. “Ok, but why do I only have the one?” Carri asked. “After what happened today, I think they wanted it in your locker, hence the crazy shit that happened. I think someone had the master key for the lockers. That’s how they got your book back in your locker. But they needed you to open it to plant the other baggie in your locker. Jayden said. “So tomorrow when you go in, search your locker from top to bottom with the same methodical slowness and detail. When you find it, link Chad, and he will come and get it.” Jayden said. “What the heck is going on?” Chiara asked. “We think that Rolan is behind this, because of our mother.” Caiden said. “So, he is making and distributing this stuff.” Caiden said as he picked up the baggies and shook them. “But who has access to the master key?” Chad asked. “There are two masters.”  Chi said. “How do you know that?” Vince asked. Chi didn’t answer. “Chiara, it’s ok, no one is going to do anything to you.” Jayden said softly to her.

CHIARA: “I know because when you guys jammed my locked dial with broken toothpicks last year, they called both Jenna and the head of maintenance. They both had a key.” I said. “Wait, why would they call Jenna?” Valen asked. “Because she works in the office, she is the one who pulls locker assignments when we first get them.” I said. “So, you’re saying that Gina’s friend Jenna works in the office?” Carri asked. “I don’t know who here friends are, but yes, Jenna works in the front office of the school.” I said. “That explains how they got my book back in my locker. She probably unlocked it while we were in class, so they could put my book back. And then they needed me to open it to plant the joints in my locker.” Carri said. “That’s if they planted them, you won’t know until you get to school tomorrow.” Cassie said. The ranked squad was all nodding. “So, what’s the end game, if Rolan had the guys plant the drugs on us?” Carri asked. “It’s obvious, he will blame and point the finger at you three, to throw the spotlight on the three of you, while he tries to get away.” Vince says. “Does that mean he plans on pulling whatever his scheme is soon?” Valen asked. “It appears so.” Caiden says. As he again shakes the baggies. “Well, for right now, we will get these analyzed, but I want the three of you to come up with something to replace these with, something harmless, we will let him believe he still has the upper hand in whatever he has planned, and then when he points the finger, or the guys point the finger, there will be nothing there to get any of you in trouble.” Jayden said. “I can help with what to replace them with.” I said. “What did you have in mind?” Caiden asked. “Just simple herbal remedies, but make it the actual herbs. Things like sage, rosemary, parsley, things of that nature, because they can be manipulated to look like the joints.” I say. “Thank you, Chi.” Jayden said. I just nodded. “It’s dinner, let’s go.” Caiden said. As he heads for the door and the rest of us follow him out. Iesha and I walk together in companionable silence, each of us trying to make sense of what the heck just happened with the ranked squad. I mean, they actually were including us in what seems to be an important issue. Since when? Because that never happens. And with Rolan involved, and he is related to the Luna, that in and of itself is bad news. But that is for them to work on; I need to focus on passing and getting out.

CARRI: I got to school early and did what Jayden said. I went through my locker from top to bottom, slowly taking everything out, checking it, and putting it back. I found the baggie with the joints in it. I linked Chad to come get it. And then I went to wait for Valen, Brandi, and my sister to show up. Thankfully, the rest of the day went smoothly, and nobody was none the wiser about the fact that we were on to them. And we wanted to keep it that way.

CHAD: I got the link from Carri that she indeed found the other baggie in her locker, so I went to get it, and I took it straight to the clinic to have it analyzed with the rest of them. I just hope we get the results sooner rather than later.

ROLAN: Finally, Friday is here. I have sold as many joints to the female gender as I have to the males. Tonight is going to be the best one yet. Especially with the girls, all going through a mini heat, the guys won’t know what hit them. This is going to be fun to watch. I will have to thank Jenna for her help with my plan. I will let her pick her ride of choice.
