Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 118
CAIDEN: so we need to go to his office.” Jayden says again. “I can’t.” Chi says. “I don’t have anything to wear. My clothes are at Iesha’s, on the side of her house.” She says. I watched as Jayden linked someone to go fetch her clothes, but I walked over to a wardrobe, opened it, and waved a hand at it. “For you. Pick whatever you like.” I said. And let her come investigate what was in it that she would like to wear. While my brother and I hurriedly used the other bathroom, we got ourselves cleaned up and dressed.
CHIARA: I stepped up to the wardrobe and looked inside. Everything in there was my size. And nothing was over the top, expensive. Which I appreciate, but still, it was all too much. I pulled out a pair of blue walking shorts and a light blue T-shirt. And they even had under things for me. “How did you know my size?” I asked them, holding up a bra and panties set. “We cheated. Once we knew you were our mate, we asked Esha everything.” Jayden said. “She wouldn’t have told you.” I said. “You're right, for the most part, but we also used the girls to check sizes for us when you were in P.E. class.” Caiden said. I shook my head at them. “Where can I get an extra towel, and which door is the bathroom?” I asked. Jayden tossed me a couple of towels, "in case you want to wash your hair.” He said. and Caiden pointed to one of the bathrooms. I went through my shower as quickly as I could. “There’s a toothbrush in the top drawer on the right.” Caiden called through the door. Once I was done with my shower, I found the toothbrush and brushed my teeth. I then got dressed and walked out into their room. “Ok. I’m ready, but are you sure that I even need to be there?” I asked them. “It doesn’t matter if you do or not, you are our mate and as such you are entitled to be there.” Jayden said. I swallowed. “Alright, let's go find out what happened.” I said and headed for the door. Caiden jumped in front of me as soon as I opened the door, and Jayden was behind me. We walked like that, me sandwiched between the two of them, all the way to the Alpha’s office. Caiden knocked. “Enter.” Alpha called out to us. He looked up as the door opened, and he was a bit surprised to see me with the twins. I don’t blame him. I’m still in a bit of a daze myself that I actually slept in the same bed as them last night. But right now, is not the time to go off on a tangent, apparently; something happened during the fight last night.
DERRIC: I was not expecting Chiara to be with the boys at this meeting, but I guess since she is their mate, it makes sense. And I can actually get the full details of what happened from her perspective, since she and Iesha were the ones fighting. “Dad, what’s going on?” Caiden asked. “Come sit.” I said. “We will be joined shortly by your mother’s friends, I don’t want you to interfere with my questioning of them; I want you to observe and listen to their answers, and when I am done, I am going to let them go back to their homes.” I tell the boys. “Ok.” Jayden says. “But here's the hard part for you, Rolan got out, I don’t know if he actually got off Pack territory, I didn’t feel a breach, so my guess is he's in hiding somewhere, with your mother’s help.” I tell them. Then a knock comes on my door. “Enter.” I call out. The door opens, and Betty and Lorane are escorted in. “Ladies.” I say in greeting and nod to the guard. He closes the door behind him. “Come have a seat.” I say to them. The boys nod in greeting, and Chiara is just sitting quietly with her head down and her hands in her lap. They both come farther into my office and take a seat on the couch. “Why are we here?” Betty asked. “Well, I have decided that you have been punished enough for the slight crimes against my person. But I do want to ask you a few questions before I let you go.” I said to them. “Ok?” Lorane said, drawing out the word. “First, did you know that Rolan spiked the joints he sold you?” I asked. “No, Alpha, we did not know.” “Good, I want you to put that in writing for me.” I told them. And handed each of them a paper tablet, so they could write out what they just told me. When they were done with that, I asked them. “Did you see the Luna last night?” They both hesitated but answered in the negative. That told me that they were lying, or that Louise used her Luna command on them. “Were you or are you aware of any plans that Rolan might have for the future?” I asked them. “No Alpha.” They answered, and I didn’t perceive any hesitation with that answer. “Good. Do you know who Rolan was working with?” I asked. “Umm do you mean inside the pack?” Betty asked. “Yes.” I said. “Simon.” I got back in unison. “Please put that in writing as well.” I said. And they did. “Now, ladies, if you are contacted by either Simon or Rolan, you are to link me, or one of the twins directly. Understand? And you are not to let them know.” I said. “Yes, Alpha.” They answered, “You are not to tell the Luna of this meeting. Nor anyone else who might tell her. Is that clear?” I said to them, using my own alpha command on them. I didn’t really like to do that, but if we were going to have a chance at catching the three of them, I couldn’t risk anybody else knowing. “Yes, Alpha.” They answered. “Good, you may return to your homes.” I dismissed them. “Thank you, Alpha.” They said as they left my office. I turned to the boys. “Any thoughts?” I asked them. “They were lying about not seeing mother.” Jayden said. And Caiden was nodding. “But were they? Or were they Luna commanded?” I asked them. “Because there is a difference, we would have to figure out the right question and the right way to ask that question in order to find out.” I told them. “Mitch Zane and Trent are still in the cells, right?” Caiden asked. “I believe so.” “I have an idea.” He said. “What?” I asked. “Mother may have ordered them as well, but maybe not, thinking that they would be inconsequential. But if we ask them if they heard the luna last night, that’s not asking if they saw her.” He said. “Smart, go find your answer.” I tell them. “But go through the kitchen, not the front door.” I tell them. They just look at me for a minute, then Caiden nods. And they leave, taking Chiara with them.
