VINCE: ("We specialize in Head warrior Training, and black ops training, with elite status.”) The voice said. (“There was an incident that happened there about a year ago. Can you tell me the specifics of that incident?”) I asked. (“I am sorry, Beta, I am not at liberty to say.”) came the answer. (“Can you put me in touch with the person who can say?”) I asked. (“One moment please, I will need to put you on hold to assist you with that request.”) The voice said. (“Fine, I’ll hold.”) They had me on hold for 5 minutes before a deep male voice came on the line. (“This is Alpha Baston, how may I help you, Beta Vince?”) (“I was hoping you could tell me about the incident that happened there a year ago, and who might have been involved.”) (“I am under a gag order from the council, but if you have a suspicion, I can and will confirm or deny.”) He said. (“I believe drugs were involved, but what I don’t know, I was hoping you could tell me. and the person, Rolan Gage of Cresent Moon.”) (“You are correct, and the drug was marijuana, mixed with other things, what they were I cannot say, unless it is to confirm or deny.”) He said. (“Was he punished other than to be expelled from the program?”) I asked him. (“Unfortunately, not.”) He answered. (“Did he or was he able to throw orgy parties?”) I asked him. (“Yes, I am ashamed to say, until we caught on to him.”) (“Can you tell me what angered or triggered him to start all of that in the first place?”) (“He didn’t pass a couple of fitness steps to move up in rank.”) (“Thank you, Alpha Baston, you have been most helpful.”) I say. (“If I may, Beta Vince?”) (“Yes, of course.”) (“Why the interest in something that happened a year ago?”) Baston asked. (“Because he is the uncle to the Alpha twins of Silver Aspen Pack, and we think he is up to his old pranks here. And we wanted some verification on a couple of specific points before they make a plan to bring him to justice.”) (“Tell the Alphas I wish them luck with him.”) (“I will pass it on to them.”) And the call was ended. “Well, that went better than I had hoped for.” I said to Chad. “What did he or they have to say?” Chad asked. “He, and the biggest part is that he is under a gag order from the council not to give out details.” “Shit! What the hell happened?” “Don’t know, and he couldn’t say. But he did confirm marijuana and the orgy parties.” “Well, that’s something at least.” “Mmm. I will let the twins know what we found.” I tell him. “Hey, what kind of training do they do?” Chad asked me. “Head warrior, elite, and black ops.” “Shit, how far did he get in the training before he got expelled?” “Crap, I didn’t think to ask that. But he failed a couple of fitness steps, so he didn’t rank up, so that is something anyway.” “Yeah.” “We need to get to our last round of training. Before dinner.” I say to him. He nods, and we head out. I linked the twins before we ended up getting dosed with the wolfsbane. *“We will need to have a meeting after dinner, and I will share everything that Chad and I found out. The girls should be in on this, too, just so that everyone can be on the same page with all the information.” “Got it. We will let them know.”* Caiden replied. And we started our training.

CAIDEN: After getting the link from Vince, I sent a link out to our whole group. *“Meeting after dinner, our place.”* I didn’t wait for confirmation and just closed the link. And turned my attention to training. I didn’t want to incur father’s wrath. Once we were all dosed with the wolfsbane, Father led us to the training yard and all of us had to fight. Thank the goddess Rolan was not part of this training. I think father doesn’t trust him with the girls, and since we were all dosed, it wouldn’t have been a good thing if we or he lost it. Because I, for one, would bring him down hard if he tried to pull any shit with them. Don’t get me wrong, they can hold their own, but I know he cheats, and I don’t think they would be ready for that, especially with us being dosed.

VALEN: I wonder what up, that the twins called a meeting after dinner for. But it will have to wait now because we all need to stay focused on what’s in front of us. I was paired up with Rich, and just because I’m a girl, he isn’t going to hold back; after all, he is Brandi’s dad, and he doesn’t hold back with her. So, I can expect the same. “Focus, Valen!” I hear him say as he lands a punch to my stomach. Knocking the breath out of me momentarily. “Yes, Rich.” I say as I shake it off and set guard. I did happen to notice that Brandi got paired with Collin, serves him, I hope she kicks his ass and brings him down a peg or two after what happened with them. But that was all I had time for.

BRANDI: I can’t believe that Dad would agree to this. But then again, I guess it’s part of the punishment we have to go through after everything we did to Chiara. I am paired with Collin, and I see the gamma twins are paired with a couple of warriors I am not super familiar with, so I can’t give them any kind of heads up on them; they will just have to play it by ear. I keep my eyes on Collin, though. I am not about to get taken off guard by him, especially knowing what I know. There is a slightly sweet yet exhilaratingly spicy smell about him. And it is slightly messing with me. “Are you ready for this, sweet cheeks?” He asked. “Don’t get cocky, Collin. Remember who my dad is; he doesn’t pull punches even though I’m a girl.” I say to him. Then Alpha Derric calls ‘START.’ And the fight is on. We were all ready this time, but the wolfsbane did slow our reaction time some. I guess you could say that it leveled the playing field in a way, considering all of us were the next in line to inherit, and we were fighting regular warriors. But that didn’t mean that we came out of it completely unscathed. And now I know what the twins meant before, our opponents shifted, and we couldn’t, so it was all skill and concentration to stay ahead of them and fight to save our own asses. But we proved we could do it. But we were all spent by the time Alpha called time. And we were all pissed.

JAYDEN: Again, we were at the mercy of Father. But this time, when training was over, I just called out for a run
