Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 45

CAIDEN: Father, let us out of training early, after he confirmed that Chiara was indeed awake. We waited for the girls to get out of school, then, as a group, we headed over to the clinic. But while we were waiting on the girls, I called around to the flower shops to find carnations and lily of the valley. The carnations were easy; it was the lilies that were the hard part. But I did find two shops that had them, and I bought them both out. And had them shipped to the Pack house. I wanted to make sure she understood just how sorry we all were. “I found lily of the valley; there were only two places that had it. I bought them both out.” I said aloud to the group. Everyone nodded. The girls showed up, and so did Hayley. “What are you doing here?” Valen got a bit defensive. “Valen!” I gave her a warning. “What?” “Hayley has been very supportive of Chiara. It was because of Rolan the first time, so you need to chill.” I said. “When I see it, I’ll believe it.” She answered back. And we all left for the clinic. “I did let Iesha know that she was awake, so she will probably be there too.” Brandi said. We nodded. “I have never met Iesha.” Hayley said. “Don’t worry about it, but if she seems nervous and on edge, don’t interfere; also, if she seems a bit dismissive towards us again, don’t interfere.” I said. “But that’s being disrespectful of you as Alpha’s.” she said. “It may be, but we deserve it. Chiara is her best friend, and we are the reason she was in the coma in the first place. The girl is scared of us, and when you're scared, you do things that maybe you normally wouldn’t. So don’t go in there and start spouting off to her.” I said. “Because if you do, the girls just may take you out, and rather they do to you what they did to her, or they just remove you from the room, that will be on them, but none of us will stop it. Because it’s all a part of our punishment, we are the ones that need to be humbled, and that comes from the Pack.” I told her.

CHIARA: Iesha and I are waiting for Nurse Baker to come back with my things when the door to my room opened, and the ranked squad and the girl from the other day came in. I looked at Esha and then at the notebook. She got my message. She immediately tore the page out that I had been writing on and shoved it into her back pocket. I then wrote a greeting to all of them. ‘Alpha’s, Beta’s, Gamma’s, how may I help you?’ I wrote and held it up for them to read. “Nothing, we are here to see how you are.” Jayden said. “Are you not able to talk?” Caiden asked. ‘The doctor said that my voice would take a while to come back because of the breathing tube. I will need to exercise it, but not a lot right away.’ I wrote and held it for them to read. They nodded. ‘May I ask who the other girl is?’ I wrote and held it up. “This is Hayley. She read Black Beauty to you while you were out. She is Rolan’s cousin on his dad’s side.” Caiden answered. I nodded. ‘Thank you, Hayley.’ I held it up for her to read. “You’re welcome.” She says back. Right then, the door opened, and Nurse Baker came in empty-handed. My eyes went straight to her hands. Nothing. I started to panic again. “Chiara, you need to stay calm. I wasn’t able to find the envelope with your things, but I will keep looking.” She said. I couldn’t help it, I started to cry. “Are you talking about the envelope that has her bracelet and earrings in it?” Jayden asked. My eyes shot to his face. I needed to know what he knew about my things. “That’s the one.” Nurse Baker said. “I taped the ends of her bracelet so it wouldn’t unravel, and put it back in the envelope, handed it to the nurse at the desk in the ICU, and told her to put it in a safe place for her.” “Well then, I will go upstairs and inquire about it. You just need to stay calm Chiara.” She says to me. But I don’t know how calm I can be, what with the ranked squad in my room and my bracelet missing. Even if I have to fix it, at least I know where it is, and that I still have my connection to Jace. Right now, I don’t know anything, and I don’t have my connection to him, and I don’t like it. “What’s so important about that bracelet? I mean, Jayden took it off you and gave it to your friend.” Hayley said. “It’s not that bracelet.” Iesha said rather harshly. And I looked at her, confused. “Yes, Jayden gave me the bracelet that he and Caiden gave you, so I have that for you when you get out.” She says. I nod in understanding. “She wears a braided hair bracelet, that's very special to her; she has not been without it for two years, except this past month when she was in the coma.” Brandi says. I look at her. “What? You think we didn’t know?” she said. ‘I didn’t think you noticed. And thank you for not destroying it.’ I wrote and handed it to her to read. She looked down like I had just slapped her, and she was ashamed. And then handed it to Valen and the gamma twins to read. They all looked ashamed. Now I  really was confused. But right then, Nurse Baker came back with an envelope in her hand this time. “Hear you are, Chiara.” She said and handed me the envelope. I took it and opened it. Put my hand inside and pulled out the bracelet. I see the taped ends, and I look over to Jayden. I wrote in big letters. ‘THANK YOU!’ and handed it to him. “It's ok, Chi, it’s the least I could do considering everything else we did. I am just thankful that you are awake.” He said to me. I didn’t know what to say, or even how to respond to him. I was so used to them bullying me. That I could handle. But this, this being nice, this is so out of character for all of them. “Ok, everyone, I think she has had enough excitement for one day. And considering she just woke up, she needs to rest properly.” Nurse Baker said and started to shoo everyone out. “Iesha.” I croaked, “It’s ok, Chi, I will come back tomorrow.” She said. I wrote, ‘Please bring my kit with you tomorrow so I can fix it.’ I handed her back her notebook. She read it and nodded at me. Then hugged me goodbye.

DERRIC: I let the kids out of their training early today because Chiara woke up. I sent a link to all my ranked wolves to let them know that she was awake.
