JAYDEN: getting something from Rolan today when school got out. He was in the shadows of the trees lining the walk, but I still saw him. He passed something to the three of them.” Valen said. “As long as they don’t cause trouble for anybody, we will deal with them using after we get rid of Rolan. And if they do cause trouble, they will find themselves off the team, expelled, and held back for a year.” I said harshly.

CARRI: “It will be more than that if Zane tries anything with me again. I will break his fingers.” I said out loud. The girls chuckled, and the boys just shook their heads. “What? I'm sick of him hitting on me, thinking that I’m just going to give him a ‘ride’ as he puts it, in front of his girlfriend and anybody else that might want to play voyeur.” I said. And now the guys were laughing as well.

CASSIE: “She has a point; I’m sort of over Trent pulling the same thing with me.” I said. That sobered the guys up a bit. And they nodded. “Both cases on point, if it happens again, they will be in a world of trouble, not only with us, but I won’t hesitate to inform their parents as well.” Caiden said. “We will have to be diligent, especially at school. Because Iesha doesn’t have a clue about Mitch either.” Brandi stated. “Mitch has been warned.” Caiden said. “He knows what will happen to him if he causes any more problems for Iesha.” Jayden said. We all nodded at that.

VINCE: “I have an idea to help keep some of the younger siblings away from what Rolan is offering.” I said to the group as a whole. “What’s your idea?” Caiden asked. “I wanted to bring this to your attention since you got home, but with everything that has happened, I just never got the chance. I want us to start our own training program for those between 8, maybe 9, through 16, maybe 17, and make that a stipulation that if any of them get caught using, they lose their place, and cannot advance to warrior status.” I said. “And I think we should build an arcade, which will allow some of the younger pack members to earn their own money and give them a sense of accomplishment.” “Plus, if we take that elite training from Medow Lake, we can then incorporate some of that into our training, and we will have some of the best-trained warriors out there. Making us one of the strongest packs.” I said, and watched their reactions to what I had just said. They were all thinking about it. “What kinds of things were you thinking of for the arcade?” Jayden asked. “We could incorporate sniper games, which will tie into training, and laser tag on an obstacle course, which again will tie into training, and even probably make for better warriors, because of the balance and agility issues that it will incorporate. Along with the usual type games, pinball, skeet ball, darts, those kinds of games, maybe some Wii games, like the dance, and Mario Kart, and a 6-lane bowling alley, and mini golf.” I said, again watching their reactions. “I know that it will take a bit to get back the initial investment, but it could pay off two-fold if it works the way I hope it will.” I said. They all nod. “This is something that we will have to discuss with Father, but I don’t foresee him saying no, considering the implications for the advancement of the warrior training.” Caiden said. And I nodded.

CAIDEN: “Anything else?” I asked. They all shook their heads no. “All right, it’s getting late, and the girls have school in the morning still, and we have wolfsbane, and I think I heard Father say he wanted to start our silver training now too.” I said. They all groaned. And I nodded. As we all got up and left our office building. I locked it up. This is another project that has been put on holdbecause of everything that has happened. And I am going to put this squarely at our mother's feet as well.

JAYDEN: When we got back to the Pack house, I linked father. “Caiden and I would like to have a meeting with you.” I sent to him. “Come to my office.” I got back. So, I tapped my brother and nodded towards Father’s office. And he followed me. I figure the sooner we have the conversation with him about what Vince said, the sooner we can get it up and running, or at least some of it anyway. I knocked on the door when we got there. “Come.” Came Father’s voice. So, I opened the door and let Caiden go in first, and I followed in behind him.                                                                       

DERRIC: “To what do I owe the honor?” I asked the boys when they came into my office. “We were having a meeting of our own, and Vince has, at least to our way of thinking, a great idea.” Jayden said. “And what pray tell is Vince’s idea?” I asked. “He was thinking of starting a training program for the younger kids. Starting at maybe 8 or 9. And going up to 16, 17, and then after that, they can enroll in the warrior training if that is what they want to do.” Caiden answered. “And we found out about the Medow Lake training, and I think that it would be a good idea that we all take that training as well, and then we can incorporate it into our regular training here.” Jayden said in a rush of words. “That’ not a bad idea at all. You can start the training with the younger pups over the summer when they are out of school.” I told them. “and when they go back to school, you can take the Medow Lake training.” “There is one more thing.” Caiden said. “What is that?” I asked. “An arcade.” “A what?” “An arcade.” They both answered together. “And what or why an arcade?" I asked. “It’s kind of threefold.” Jayden answered. “Ok, give them to me.” I said. “1. We incorporate things that will help enhance training, like say laser tag on an obstacle course, that will help with balance and agility, and also accuracy. Sniper games will also play into the accuracy issue. 2. It will give the teens more opportunities for earning an income of their own. 3. It can be a place where the younger pups and the teens can go hang out and keep them engaged and off the streets, and not be causing trouble. Or if they do, it’s contained to the arcade, and we can deal with it appropriately from there.” Caiden said. They were all valid points. “I will think about the arcade, but as for the training, yes. You have a go with that.” I told them. They nodded and left the office.
