Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 85

CAIDEN: were wearing the same annoyed looks, probably mirroring my own. “Let’s get this party started.” I called out, and the game started. We partied till 1 in the morning, when we called it a night, then the 8 of us stayed and made sure the place was relatively clean. We picked up and threw away any leftover glasses, bottles, napkins, and whatever else was lying around. Then we headed to our rooms for bed.     

JAYDEN: Sunday morning, after breakfast, the doc linked us. “I have the results from the test back, I know what hormone he used, and I can have a counter made by the end of tomorrow.” Doc says through the link. “Thanks, doc., but I’m hoping that we won’t need it now. Rolan is keeping mother company in the cells. He was going to try and turn our party into one of his ogres last night. Caiden and I were not going to stand for that, so now he is in the dungeon.” I said. “But make some up just to be on the safe side.” I told him. “Yes, Alpha.” He answered, and I closed the link.

VINCE: I was glad when the weekend was over. I know, most people can’t wait for the weekend. And that is usually me as well, but this time I was happy to get back into our regular routine of training, even though we still had to deal with getting dosed. After what happened at the twins’ birthday party with our girlfriends. And they were still thinking it was ok to pick on Chi like that, it made my wolf Rex see red. I am thinking it’s time for a new girlfriend, or maybe do a bit of traveling to see if I can’t find my mate. Either way, Whitney and I are done.

CHAD: Lisa had pouted at me. She tried to get me to convince the guys to punish our sisters and Brandi for pushing them in the pool. After what they did to Chiara, I was livid to say the least, and Storm, my wolf, wanted nothing to do with her. Every time she tried to touch me, he would take over so fast. I didn’t have a chance to fight him for control; he would just jump us back and to one side or the other, and he even growled at her to not touch us. I told Lisa that there would be no punishment for the girls, and she got pissy with me. And that was it. I told her we were done. Storm didn’t appreciate her trying to get his little sisters in trouble.

CHIARA: I was grateful for having the next two days off. It gave me time to think about when I wanted to take my tests, but I needed to talk to the alpha about them. I wanted to know if I failed, would I be able to retake them? See, I am not a good test taker. So, I needed to know. So, come Monday after breakfast, I again headed to the Packhouse to speak to the Alpha. I entered the house through the kitchen door and caught the attention of one of the omegas. “Please, will you do me a favor?” I basically pleaded. “What? It’s got to be quick; I have work to do.” She answered rather sharply. “Just link the Alpha and ask him to speak with me.” I said almost desperately. I looked at her hopefully. I watched as her eyes glazed over. “He said you are to go to his office.” She said and left me standing there to go about her work. I made my way to the Alpha’s office and knocked. “Come.” I heard him call out. I opened the door and hesitantly stepped inside. I kept my head down, not wanting to incur his anger in any way. “You can look up Chiara. I am not going to bite you.” He said with a chuckle. I raised my head slightly so that I could see him sitting behind his desk. “What did you need to see me about?” He asked. “It’s about my tests, sir. I, umm, was wondering if I fail, can I retake them? See, I don’t take tests well.” I tell him. “Really? Then how is it that you are carrying a B average?” Alpha Derric asked. “I reread every question out in a whisper to make sure that I am understanding it before I answer it.” I tell him. “It takes me pretty much the whole class time to take the test, but I usually get the majority of the answers right.” I tell him. “We will give you the entire day to take your tests. But when would you like to take them?” He asked me. “I would like to take them on Wednesday, if that’s alright, but if I fail them, I would like the chance to be able to retake them.” I said to him. “I will discuss it with the principal and let you know.” He said. I nodded. And headed for the door. “Thank you, Alpha.” I said. He nodded at me. “Welcome. And Chi,” I paused with my hand on the door. “Yes, Alpha?” “Next time, just come to my office and knock; you don’t have to get someone to ask me.” He said. “Sorry, Alpha, but the luna would never  let us come in this far.” I told him. “Ahh. Well, now you have my permission.” He tells me. I nod and leave. I just have to get through Tuesday’s chores and make sure I am well rested for Wednesday.

CHIARA: Finally, Tuesday. The start of a new month, it’s June, and later this month is graduation. I just hope that I can pass my tests tomorrow, but right now I have kitchen duty. I reported after dinner was over. I started getting the water ready for the pots and pans that were used to make dinner. I got the toughest ones soaking and then went to gather up the used dishes from the Pack dining room. Then I went to check the family’s private dining room to make sure there was nothing in there. And headed back to the kitchen. I was almost done putting the last of the dishes away out of the dishwasher and making sure that everything was ready for the breakfast crew in the morning. I looked up at the clock. I hadn’t realized it had taken me that long to get things done. It’s almost midnight. But it’s done. And I don’t have to be at school until 9, so I should be ok. I left through the back door and headed to the orphanage. I had only gotten about halfway back to the orphanage when I got this searing pain in my stomach, which dropped me to my knees. I couldn't even scream; the pain was so intense. I broke out into a cold sweat. Then I heard it, and felt it. The snapping and popping of bones, my bones. Goddess, what was happening to me?! I felt like I was on fire, and I was being burned from the inside out.
