Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 128

IESHA: (“Deena, you don’t have to whisper; no one else can hear you, but me.”) I tell her. (“Oh yeah, that right.”) She says. (“You said you think you found her?”) (“Yeah, but it’s faint, I need you to go straight out from where you are standing, about 10 to 15 steps.”) She says. I follow the directions she gives me. (“Now turn to your right and go about 10 steps that way.”) Again, I follow her directions.

CHIARA: I was tired, I hadn’t slept well since I was put down here, I still didn’t know where here was, just that I was underground somewhere on pack territory. And the silver of the cuffs was draining. Although my right wrist didn’t feel nearly as sore as the left one. I think it has to do with the fact that I still had Jace’s hair bracelet on. It was giving me some cushion against the cuff. Rolan and I had finished breakfast. He was in the toilet area when I felt a pull. I tried to concentrate on it. I moved away from the toilet area, with my back to it. I moved as far as the chains would allow, and I sat, closing my eyes. (“Thena, do you feel that?”) I asked her. (“I do. It’s faint, but I feel it.”) (“Can we bring it closer?”) I asked her. (“We can try.”) I just sat back and gave everything I had to help her connect to who or what was out there. (“Chi, it’s Deena, and Iesha. They are closer now, maybe you can link her?”) (“I will give it a try.”) I tell her. But I turn so I am facing out into the bigger area, and just close my eyes, so he can’t tell what I’m trying to do. “Iesha? Can you hear me?” I sent. “I hear you, oh goddess Chi! Where are you?” “I don’t know for sure, but I am underground, and Rolan is here with me, so I can’t maintain this for long, or he will know.” “I will tell the twins!” and the link was closed. But I continued to sit there with my eyes closed. “You don’t have to play shy.” Rolan said. “I’m not playing. You are not my mates; I don’t need to see you naked, thank you very much.” I said. And that earned me a good, hearty laugh from him. “Well, I’m done, you can open your eyes.” He said. So, I did. “You don’t look so good.” He said to me. Well, I don’t think you’d look too good either if you were the one in silver cuffs and chained to the ceiling.” I said. “Ah, yes, speaking of that. Time to hoist you back up.” He said. So, I stood up and moved back to the center of the area where the chains were. “Go use the toilet. I’m not going to keep putting you up and down.” He said. I walked over to the toilet, used it, washed my hands, and took my spot again. Then he hoisted my chains, and up went my arms. At least he didn’t pull me so far up that my feet were not touching.

IESHA: I didn’t leave the spot that Deena directed me to. “Chad, Caiden, Jayden.” I called out to them. All three of them came over to me. “Chi is close, she is somewhere underground.” I tell them. “She linked me. It was weak, but it was there. Right here.” I pointed to the spot that I was standing on. “She said that Rolan was with her.” I tell them. I watched as both the twins’ eyes glazed over. I don’t know whether they were trying to reach her or they were linking someone else. I didn’t care; I wasn’t moving from this spot until I knew that she was safe.

CAIDEN: The minute I heard those words come out of Iesha’s mouth; I asked Axel. (“Can you reach her?”) (“I will try.”) I took a couple of steps away from Iesha, closed my eyes, and concentrated. I gave everything I had to boost Axel’s bond with Thena. “Thena?” “I am here, Axel. We can’t speak long, or Rolan will know.” “Can you describe anything about where you are, so we can find you?” “It’s underground, there is food and water here, and a working toilet, and a camp stove. That is about all we can see.” “Ok, that helps. We will get you out. I promise.”  The link closed. Then Axel tells me everything that Thena told him. (“Thank you, buddy.”) (“Don’t thank me, just find our mate!”) He almost yells at me. I turn to Jayden and see his eyes are clear now. “I linked father; he and his unit are on their way, along with some guards to take Rolan back into custody.” He tells me. I nod. We both strip and shift into our wolves. letting them take the lead, using their heightened sense of smell. We pick up a scent, it’s not Chi’s, but it doesn’t belong here either. Father showed up about 5 minutes later. He stopped short, seeing our wolves. “Steel, Axel.” He called out softly to them. They both turned to look at him. “This is the old bunker area.” He said. Then both of our wolves took off at a dead run, straight for the bunker door. They remembered it better than we did, and we didn’t even have them when the bunker was in use.

LOUISE: I was staying out of the search. I didn’t want them to find her. Especially with her being with Rolan, I need just a little more time, two more weeks, that’s all, just two more weeks, then I can get Rolan off pack territory and home where he belongs. And that little bitch can go with him. I am busy in the kitchen taking inventory for the mate ball when I look up and out the window to see Derric and his ranked unit heading towards the back of the house and the woods. Shit, I hope they haven’t found them. I need to follow them. I say far enough back to keep them in sight, but not get caught, and make sure I stay downwind of them. Then I caught sight of Steel and Axel. They are a sight, but damn, with both of them this close, I can only hope. But no. Both of them take off like a streak of lightning after Derric said something to them. All I can do is follow, maybe I can distract them, and hopefully let Rolan get away. I stayed out of sight, Derric and his unit followed the boys, and I followed them.

JAYDEN: Once we reached the hidden door to the bunker, Steel threw me forward, and he shifted us. I waited for Caiden to shift back. Then, when he was ready, and Dad was there, Steel added his strength to mine, and we ripped the door of the bunker clear off. He was not happy that his mate was not with him. We pretty much flew down the stairs, and when we reached the bottom, Steel and Axle took back over and shifted.
