Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 66
CHIARA: “Has Iesha been in to see you yet today?” Jayden asked. “Not yet, but I think she will be here soon, if she isn’t in my room waiting for me.” I answered. “Why?” “We just want to check with her to make sure that Mitch is leaving her alone.” Jay said. “We know how much she doesn’t like us linking her, so we are trying to be respectful of that.” Caiden said. “You can go check my room and see if she is here yet.” I told them. “No, we will wait for you.” Jayden said. “What were you and Hayley discussing?” Caiden asked. “The luna.” I deadpanned my answer. “Ahh.” Caiden let out. “What did you learn, Hayley?” Jayden asked. “Umm…” “It’s ok, speak up.” Jaiden said. Hayley looked at me. I shrugged my shoulders. What more could they do to me, kill me? They almost did. And what I said was the truth. “You don’t have to worry about Chi. We won’t be doing her any harm anymore. So, speak up.” Jaiden said. “Well, that your mom picks on the orphans and the humans. And she used you and your unit to do it with.” She said. “And what does that tell you about our mother?” Caiden asked. “That she is not a nice person.” Hayley answered. “Correct. What else did you learn?” Jayden asked. “That you guys killed someone by the name of Jace. And again, it was because your mother said to beat him up.” “Correct, again.” Caiden said. “So, the best thing for you to take away from any of this is to not be like our mother.” Jayden told her as we made it back to my room. “But again, you will only be a luna if you are mated to an alpha, or are a chosen mate of an alpha.” Jayden said as he opened the door to my room so we could walk in. Ieasha was there waiting when we got there. I hugged her when I saw her. “How are you doing?” she asked me. “I am getting better, slowly but surely.” I said. “Well, your voice is better.” She said. And I nodded.
CAIDEN: We waited for the girls to finish with their pleasantries. “Iesha, how have things been for you?” “I’m fine. Why are you asking?” “We just want to make sure that Mitch is leaving you alone.” I said to her. “He hasn’t approached me, but he watches me whenever we happen to be in the same area. And he has been on my block a few times, and I think he’s been high. I can’t say for sure, because he doesn’t get close enough for me to really tell, but that is usually the only time he comes around my home.” She told us. I nodded, looking at my brother. “We think he secretly likes you.” Jayden says. “What? No!” Esha answers back. “Umm…” “Yes, Hayley? If you have something to say, go ahead and say it.” I looked at her. “Iesha, you said you thought he might be high?” “Yes. But he hasn’t approached me since the fight happened on Wednesday at school.” “Does anybody know where he is getting his drug of choice from?” Hayley asked. “Not as of yet. Why?” Jayden asked. “Because this sounds a lot like something Roland pulled a year ago at Meadow Lake Pack when he was sent there for training. He got piss at something that happened there, and then started selling joints, but they weren’t just any joints, they were a mix of things, what I don't know.” But this sounds right up his alley.” Hayley tells us. “Ok, but what would have set him off, pissed him off.” I asked. “Your mom.” Hayley said. Again, I looked at Jayden, and he was nodding.
JAYDEN: “What else did he do there, do you know?” “I heard that he threw wild orgy parties, and had a third of the warriors hooked on his joints, and the free sex. Before they found him out and expelled him from the training.” Hayley told us. “Well, it won’t take us that long, because we are already onto him, we just need to wait till tomorrow, and we will have some of his product to get tested. And from there, he just might find himself keeping mother company in the cells.” I said. “Speaking of that, how long has she been down there?” Chiara asked. “Since we started doing our vigils over you.” I said. “Oh goddess, she is really going to hate me. And want revenge.” Chi said, a bit panicked. “Hey, calm down, Chi, she won’t be able to harm you. I promise.” I said softly to her. “You don’t know that for sure; you can’t promise that. She could always find some others to do her bidding besides the 8 of you.” Chi says, still a bit panicked. “Why hasn’t she been let out yet?” Iesha asked. “Because she refuses to clean them.” Caiden answers. “And until she does, she won’t be getting out. Father won’t let her.” Caiden states again. “ Umm…guys? You won’t tell him I told you anything, will you?” Hayley asked. “No, we won’t say anything, you're safe.” I tell her. “I don’t know about being safe. I don’t know if anybody can count themselves safe from Rolan. He’s a narcissist, and he doesn’t need a reason to do some of the things he does.” Hayley said. “Well then, I guess it’s up to us to take him down like we would a rabid wolf.” Caiden says. And I nod. “But we should be going, we just want to come check on you, Chiara, see if you needed anything.” “Thank you, I am good.” She answered. Still sounding a bit panicked. “It will be ok, Chi, promise.” And we left. I linked Vince. “We have another job for you and Chad, search Medow Lake Pack, what kind of training do they do, and what went down there a year ago, give or take a month or two.” “Any particular reason, and or incident?” “Rolan.” “We’re on it.” I close the link.
VINCE: After getting Jayden’s link, I grab Chad. “We have another job.” I tell him. “What’s up?” “Medow Lake Pack, a year ago.” I say. “Shit!” he drew the word out. “What?” I ask him. “I heard that they had a problem with one of the cadets coming in for training.” “Yeah, know who?” “No. That was never released.” “Rolan.” I said. “Wait, what? How did you know?” “Jayden just linked me, wants us to dig up everything we can on it. All he said was Rolan.” “Well, if the Bosses want it done, I guess we'd better get it done.” I nod. We dug through everything the WolfNet had to offer, but nothing to actually tie Rolan to the incident in question. I then called Medow Lake. (“Hello Medow Lake Training Pack.”) A pleasant female voice answered. (“Hello, I’m Beta Vince, next in line to Beta Vance of the Silver Aspen Pack. I am calling on behalf of our next-in-line Alphas, Caiden and Jayden Silver. Could you please tell me what training you offer?”) (“Of course, Beta. We are an elite warrior training Pack.
