Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 21
BLAKE: “I don’t know, let me check.” I watched as his eyes glazed over. “Yeah, the pool is open. You want company?” “Naw, just need to clear my head, tonight was a bit … intense.” I tell him. He nods, “I get that.” And heads toward the Gamma’s house, and I head to the Pack house and the pool.
DERRIC: I know the dance is over by the time I get back to the house, but I am hearing noises out by the pool. So, I go investigate. I see Blake swimming laps as if he is trying to cleanse himself of what I asked him to do. I am sorry that I put him through it, but I needed an eyewitness to what they did. “Blake. Are you ok?” I asked him. “No. I feel dirty. How could they think that was ok?” I held up my hand to hush him. I didn’t want the twins to hear any of this conversation. “Come to my office.” I said quietly. He nodded, swam over to the ladder, and climbed out. Grabbed a towel and dried off, picked up his clothes, and then followed me to my office. Once the door was closed, I had him take a seat on the couch. “Tell me what happened.” I said quietly to him. I know that what he saw first-hand tonight was not an easy thing to watch. “I will be honest, Alpha, the boy might have deserved SOME of what he got; he was acting like a big shot.” He told me. “I will take that into consideration.” I told him. He nodded. “But the girl. The girls were vicious.” He tells me. I nod my head. “ She just got out of the clinic a week ago, from a beating she took in school from the girls. And now she is in a coma.” I tell him. He blanched. “Oh goddess!” “The worst thing is, she isn’t 18 yet, so no wolf, but we don’t even think she is a wolf. They put a human in a coma. All because my Luna doesn’t like humans or orphans.” “Oh, goddess Alpha, I am sorry.” “Hey, it’s not your problem. Thank you for what you did for me tonight. I know it wasn’t easy.” He shook his head at me. “I just hope that I don’t end up with nightmares.” “I know.” I nodded my head. “But you need to head back to the house before they get suspicious.” I tell him. “I don’t know that I want to stay with them. What they did tonight sickens me.” “I know, son, and again I’m sorry I had to put you through that, but I needed a witness.” He just nods, grabs his clothes, stands, and heads out the door. I get up and pour myself a brisk shot of whisky. I know that it doesn’t affect us, but it can still help steady the nerves.
IESHA: I went in search of Chiara when she didn’t come back, and the dance was ending. I was scared, I didn’t know what I would find. I walked the path to the party, clearing. I saw that the bar was knocked over, and one of the seats was tipped over backwards, as if someone had pushed it to create more room. And a lot of blood. “Oh goddess, please don’t let her be dead.” I said the small prayer. I noticed a lot of prints in the soft ground. And some tracks that looked like wheels made them. That was strange. “Alpha, I am so sorry, I know it’s late, but I can’t find Chiara!!” “Who is this?” “Oh, sorry Alpha, this is Iesha, I am Chiara’s friend.” “Well, Iesha, Chiara is in the clinic, she is in the ICU. In a coma.” When I heard that, the world tilted under my feet, and I fell to the ground. I couldn’t breathe. I just sat there, I couldn’t move. I didn’t know what I was feeling, or if I was feeling anything at all. And then I just let out the most horrendous scream, I’m pretty sure the whole damn pack heard it. But at this moment, I didn’t care. But I couldn’t stop screaming. I don’t know what was wrong with me. I was shaking and shivering, and I couldn’t stop. Then everything went black.
CAIDEN: I had just finished my shower when I heard the most horrendously wrenching scream I have ever heard in my life. “Did you hear that, brother?” I linked him. “Yes.” “Do we investigate?” “We probably should.” “I will get redressed and meet you downstairs.” “Copy that.” I closed the link and went to my wardrobe, grabbed a pair of sweats and a t-shirt and put on my cross trainers, and headed out. I met Jayden in the hallway, and then Father came out of his office. We all headed downstairs and out the front door. Father headed straight to the school, to the party clearing. We followed him. I knew the place was a mess, but I was not panicked if both of them were still there, we could always say that they got into a fight with others, and we had no idea about it. And if we don’t panic, he won’t suspect anything.
JAYDEN: I can’t help but wonder who or what made that gut-wrenching sound; it almost sounded like a mother had lost her pup. I hope it wasn’t that. I don’t think I could handle a distraught woman. I can handle many things, but not that. I wonder how Father knew to come here, though. When we get to the clearing, we see a girl, an omega, she had black, medium-tight curly hair that reaches her shoulders, and medium brown skin. She looks vaguely familiar. I look around the area and notice the wheel marks, so someone had found them and informed the medical staff. I watched father as he approached the girl. He was speaking in soothing tones to her. I watched as he reached out to touch her. Then he immediately removed his shirt and wrapped it around her. “What’s wrong with her?” I asked him. “She is in shock, and if we do not get her to the clinic, she could die.” He said through clenched teeth, like he was about to explode. I looked at my brother, and I think that we may be in some serious trouble. We followed him to the clinic.
DERRIC: I am so pissed at them right now, it’s all I can do not to throw them in the cells right now. But I am going to make them come with me so they can watch the consequences of their actions from tonight, and how it affects others, not just the pleasure they may have got out of the deed, but how those actions have affected others in the pack. Starting with Iesha. I get her to the clinic. “We need a doctor!” I yelled as we entered. The medical staff rushed to take care of her. “What happened?” Nurse Baker asked. “She is Chiara’s friend. She couldn’t find her, so she linked me, and I told her where her friend was. I may have been a little too harsh.
