Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 102
CAIDEN: She moved.” The boy answered. “Is Miss Blair here?” Jayden asked. “Yes, please come in, I will get her.” He said. We only waited a few minutes before Miss Blair came to greet us. “Alphas? How may I assist you?” she asked. “We need to see Chiara.” Jaden spoke first. “I am sorry, but she is not here. She moved out earlier today.” “Do you know where she moved to?” I asked. “No, I don’t, but she did say something about finding a part-time job in a small boutique. But again, I don’t know where. I am sorry.” She said. “Thank you, Miss Blair.” I said. And we left. “Where could she have gone?” I asked aloud. “I don’t know, except that she didn’t leave the Pack, we would have felt that.” Jayden answers.
JAYDEN: I know she fears us, but right now I’m the one freaking out. I link her. “Chi? Babe? Where are you?” I pushed through our bond with her. I know it’s not very strong yet, but it’s still there, and I, no, we need to know where she is. “Jayden?!” “Yes, baby girl, please tell me Where you’re at.” I said through the link. Making sure I keep the panic out of my voice. “I’m fine, I’m safe.” “I know, but Caiden and I need to see you. Please.” I said again. I know I need to stay calm, but sometimes she makes it difficult. “I am in the apartments on Shire, near the factory district.” She sent. I looked at my brother. “We need the car.” I told him. “Why? Where is she?” “On Shire near the factory district.” “What the heck is she doing there?” Caiden asked. “That is what we will find out, but since she just moved today, let's get her some food and beverages.” I said. Caiden nodded at me, and we headed to get the car when we got a link from Vince.
VINCE: It was after dinner, and I saw that the Luna was in a foul mood. So, I linked the twins. “The Luna is pissed! What happened?” I asked. “She wants us to let Rolan go. We said no.” Jayden sent back. “Where are you?” “At the orphanage.” “How is Chiara?” I asked. Knowing that the luna might try something to hurt her. “Not here. Get Chad, and the car, and meet us at the grocery store.” Caiden shot through our link. “On it.” I had a ton of questions, but they would have to wait until I saw them. I linked Chad on my way to get Arcadia. It’s the twins running around the Pack vehicle. “Chad, meet me at the garage. We have an errand.” I said and closed the link. Chad met me at the garage, and I grabbed the keys. “What’s the errand?” “We have to meet the twins at the grocery store.” I tell him. “Ok?” “I have no clue. I wasn’t given a chance to ask. We will just have to wait until we get there to find out what is going on.” I tell him. He nods and gets in the SUV. We headed to meet up with the twins at the store. “The Luna was not in the best of moods tonight. I wonder what happened?” Chad asked. “That I can answer. She wants Rolan released, and the twins told her no.” I said. “Ouch, no wonder she is pissed. She wasn’t expecting her precious twins to tell her no.” Chad said. I nodded. We got to the store; I pulled in and parked. We both got out, I locked it, and headed in to find the twins.
CAIDEN: “We can’t buy everything, Jayden. We don’t know how big a place she is in, and until we do, we can’t go overboard.” I told my brother. “She shouldn’t even be there; she should be with us. In the Packhouse.” He said. “I know, but until she is better, more comfortable around us, and we can ensure her safety from mother, it might be the best for right now.” I said. Then I felt the push of a link, and I opened to it. “We’re here, where are you?” Vince sent. “In the Produce section,” I answered. A couple of minutes later, both Vince and Chad joined us. “Ok, what did you mean when you said that Chiara was not at the orphanage?” Vince asked. “Just what I said. Apparently, she moved out today.” “And Miss Blair said that she got herself a part-time job at a small boutique somewhere.” Jayden said. “Where did she move to?” Chad asked. “An apartment on Shire, by the factory district.” I said. “Ouch. That place isn’t the best.” Chad added. Now I’m really not happy, and Axel is pacing in my head. (“Need mate!”) He didn’t exactly yell, but he wasn’t just talking either. (“I know, calm down, we will see her soon, I promise, but let’s finish our shopping for her.”) I tell my wolf.
JAYDEN: I picked up a salad mix; it wasn’t a big bag. Not knowing just how much space she had, we couldn’t go crazy with what we bought. I got that. But some fresh fruits and veggies wouldn’t hurt. I grabbed a couple of cucumbers, a bag of baby carrots, a handful of green beans, and a couple of apples. It was hard, because we didn’t know her food preferences, to know what to get her. But we will learn. I promised myself that. And it’s not that I wasn’t listening to their conversation, I just wanted to get it done, so that we could go see her. I need to be near her. Steel was pacing in my head just as much as Axel was in my brother’s. (“Need mate.”) (“Yes, Steel, I know, we will go and see her when we finish here. OK? I promise.”) (“Yes. No pop. Juice.”) He says to me. (“Ok, do you know what kind?”) I asked him. (“Orange, and cranberry.”) He says. So, while the others were still yapping, I continued shopping. I grabbed a quart bottle of each of the orange and cranberry juices and some milk. I grabbed a pound of hamburger, and again, just because I was unsure of what kind of space she had, I grabbed the prepackaged deli meat, the kind you could make a quick sandwich with. I know it’s not the best thing, but it’s something, and it will keep you going in a pinch, and it was protein. I also grabbed a small bottle of mayo and some coffee. I grabbed a carton of eggs and some English muffins. Looking at the cart, I think we've picked up enough, but since we don't know how much space she has, it might be too much. But I hope not. I had left the guys in the produce section, and I was ready to check out. “If you’re done discussing where Chi is living, I’m ready to check out, so we can get to her.” I said. It wasn’t even a minute, and they joined me. We paid for the groceries, got them bagged up, and out to the vehicle. I got in behind the wheel,
