Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 113
CHIARA: “And who knows, you could end up meeting your mate, or mates as I did.” I tell her. “Mate, just one, the only set of identical twins are the Alphas, and they are all yours.” She says. “Not the only set, there are the Gamma twins.” I said just to tease her. “Ahh, that’s a hard NO. I’m not gay, or bi.” She says. “Well, just remember the goddess doesn’t make mistakes when it comes to matching her wolves.” I say. “I know, but I think that she mates us according to the preference of the human aspect.” She says. “You are probably right, but she could have picked someone else for me. After everything they did, or encouraged, why wouldn’t she think that I wouldn’t reject them outright is beyond me.” I say. “Maybe that’s why she did mate them to you, to teach them a lesson. The fact that you could reject them because of what they did has got to have them walking on eggshells around you.” She says. “I don’t know about that, but it’s got me walking on them. I mean, it’s the whole thing of ‘when is the other shoe going to drop?’ kind of thing for me. Because of what they did. I only know that I won’t hurt Thena that way.” I said to her. “I get that, but the bond will help Chi; you just have to give it a chance. With you as their mate, they can’t hurt you without hurting themselves.” Esha says. “We’ll see, only time will tell. And if the luna had her way, she would have preferred that I died in my coma.” I said. “She’s just a wicked bitch, who doesn’t know a good person from an evil bastard.” Esha said. “Esha, language.” I say, like I was shocked to hear her use such words. And then we both laughed. “It’s true, and you know it.” She says. “Yeah, ok, I do.” I said. “Want to go do anything today?” She asked. “If we can keep it fairly low key today, I sort of overdid it the past couple of days, and I want to make sure that I will be well rested for your birthday on Tuesday and ready for my first work shift on Thursday.” I tell her. “Low key it is.” She says. “I will come get you, don’t want you overdoing it by riding your bike all the way here.” She says. “Ok, I will be ready.” I tell her and hang up.
SIMON: I worked hard on my off hours to get the things done that the luna asked me to do. I got the wood to the orphanage and stacked it on the opposite side of the fire pit away from the house. I worked at night, under the cover of darkness, so there was less likelihood of getting caught. I soaked a few of the logs with lighter fluid and left them in front of the pile. so, they would catch on fire more easily when the time came. And I got some of the younger guys that I know and could trust to be ready to get the fire going in the pit. Then it was a matter of checking out the food situation in the bunker, which was the easy part of what the Luna asked me to do. Some of the food down in the bunker was very outdated. So, I got it replaced, and I made sure that the camp stove that was down there was in working order and made sure that there was enough fuel for it to last for a couple of months. I brought in a couple of new cases of water and moved the old ones over by the toilet and sink area. They could be used to wash our hands with, if the water isn’t working, and that way it wouldn’t go to waste. Once everything was done, it was a waiting game.
IESHA: I went and picked Chi up, and we went for coffee and a sweet treat at our favorite place. Then, we hung out at the park, watching the families with little kids playing on the swings and slides. It was just a calm time for both of us. And it was sorely needed, I dare say, with everything that had been going on lately, the total chaos that has assaulted both our senses; we needed this quiet. “Esha, do you think we could do some training?” “I mean, not like with the warriors, but like doing our own thing, going on short runs in the woods, and having our own little obstacle course out there.” She asked, pointing to the woods. “I don’t see why not. We would just have to figure out a time that could work.” I answered. “Well, after Friday, it shouldn’t be a problem; there will be no more school, and even if you get a job, we will still have Sundays free.” She said. “And until I get my strength back to where I was before the coma, I can only work part-time.” She added. “True, should we go take a walk and find our course?” “Lets.” So we tossed our cups and wrappers and headed towards the woods. We just walked around through the woods trying to find a good area that we could use for ourselves. And we found it. It was overrun with tree roots and low-hanging branches that we would either have to duck under or dodge around, and just a bit farther into the woods, there was a swampy area that we could use to help with balance, hopping from one little mound to another, trying to stay dry, would be a good challenge.
“I think we have found our workout place.” I said to Chi. “I agree.” She answered back. “I hope that it will help me get back to where I was, quicker.” She says. “Chi, you heard the doc, you can’t push it.” I said to her. “I am not pushing; there is nothing wrong with working to get fit.” She says. And I just shake my head at her. “Come on, it’s time to head back, it’s close to dinner, and I need to get you back, so I can get home to.” I tell her. “Can we stop at the grocery store after having the ranked squad at my place yesterday. I need to get some more food.” She says. I nod, and we head back towards the park and the car. I take her to the store so she can get her groceries, and then I take her home. “Esha, are you curious about who your mate might be?” She asked on the drive back to her place. “No, that isn’t anything that I really put too much thought into. I mean, I guess, I always just thought that whoever it was, or would be, we would accept each other as the goddess’s gift.” I told her, and she nodded. I helped her carry her bags up to her place. “Thank you.” She said. “Any time.” I said back and headed back to my car and went home.
