Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 50
CASSIE: by Trent and Zane. They were high on something, and they dared to proposition us. Including trying to get us to jack them off right there on the street. I had Carri link their girlfriends to come and take care of them, but the guys got pissy with us when they saw the girls, and said ‘It was our loss.’ The girls got snippy with us, as well, and I had to use my aura on them to put them in their place.” I told all of them. “We will get all the details from you after temple.” The twins said in unison. I nodded. The girls looked pissed, but our brother looked like he wanted blood. “Calm down, Chad, we handled it, and we’re fine.” I sent him. He nodded once, but I could still feel the anger rolling off of him in waves.
ROLAN: I hate seeing my sister in what could essentially be considered rags, and on temple day of all days, in front of the whole Pack like she is some poor slob asking for a handout. Derric is sorely pushing my buttons, the bastard. He will get paid back for this humiliation of my sister. His Pack will be addicted to my product before the next goddess celebration, and by then, I will be long gone, leaving him to deal with getting his Pack sober, and no way of knowing that it was me. And if all goes well, he will think that it was someone in his own pack, with the help of some of the ranked offspring that did the deed. That will be the icing on the cake.
HAYLEY: I know Rolan is up to something. I know that look in his eye. But I can’t be seen just going up to the twins, or any of the others in the ranked squad, because if he sees me, he will hurt me. He has done it before. No, I have to be smart about how I get the news to them, to be watchful of him. Without drawing too much attention to myself. Maybe Chiara could help, or her friend Iesha, but whatever way I go, I have to be careful. It’s good to see Louise, though. I go over to hug her. “Oh, Hayley, I am so sorry that I am unable to help you right now. Derric has me so busy on special assignments for the Pack, I hope you understand?” “Of course I do. I know that Pack matters, and business comes first.” I said. Playing along with her. I now believe that all the ‘crazy’ comes from her side of the family, the aggression, the deflection, the lies, all on her side. I wonder if it could be an inherited trait or something. But I moved to take my seat and wait for the ceremony to begin. … I see my chance to get the message started, as the families started to go forward to leave their offerings, signaling the end of the ceremony. I got in line behind Iesha. “Please don’t react, but the twins need to know that Rolan is up to something, what I don’t know, but I know it’s not good.” I whisper to her as I step in line behind her. Using the noise of the pack standing and moving to cover anybody trying to listen. “I will need more than that to take to them, we aren’t exactly buddy, buddy, if you get my meaning.” She whispered back. And I did. I understood, because I spent time in Chiara's room when she was in the coma, and I saw all the scars she had, so yeah, I got it. I looked around to check where Rolan was. I saw him getting up to join the back of the line, but there were several people in between us. “I don’t have any specifics, and quite frankly, I don’t want them. I just know my cousin. And I know he is up to something, and if he catches me talking to you or any of them, he will hurt me; he has done it before.” I whisper to her. Then I promptly dropped my flower, so I am no longer in line behind her. And so that Rolan doesn’t get suspicious of me.
IESHA: That was … interesting to say the least. I will pass on her message to the ranked squad, but what good it will do is anybody's guess. Plus, that crazy incident with Mitch. Just thinking about it gives me the shivers. Yuck! I saw Brandi standing off, out of the way, and pretty much by herself. I looked around to see where the rest of the ranked squad were before I approached her to pass on Hayley’s message. I also looked around to see where Rolan was. I didn’t want him listening in either. Considering what I was going to tell her concerned him. I approached her and stood with my back to the open room so no one could read what I said to her. “I just had a rather interesting conversation with Hayley.” I said very quietly to her. Taking her cue from my behavior, she kept her voice low as well. “Oh? And what did Hayley have to say?” she practically whispered. “That Rolan was up to no good, she didn’t have any details, and said she didn’t want them, she also said that if he caught her talking to anybody, he would hurt her, but to pass on the message that he was up to something.” I said. “I will pass it up the ladder as it were.” She answers back, and I turn and walk away from her, going to find my mom and dad. I know you’re probably thinking. Why not link one of the ranked squad with that information? That way, no one would be able to hear it. Part of it is that I’m an omega, and I don’t usually do things like that, but I don’t like the idea of them in my head; it scares me.
BRANDI: After the conversation with Iesha, I linked both Jayden and Caiden. *“I was just talking to Iesha, she said that Hayley approached her, said that Rolan was up to something, what, she didn’t know, just that he was up to no good. Also, if he caught Hayley talking to any of us, he would hurt her.”* I sent to them. And watched to see how they reacted. They both looked at me, and I shrugged. I couldn’t answer any questions for them. They nodded, and I nodded back. We would discuss everything later when we could all be together. I know that they wanted to go see Chiara again when we got out of temple. Maybe we should all go to Chiara’s room to talk. It would be less likely that anybody would be there to listen in on anything. Although Iesha would be there, that might be a good thing too; it may help her to be able to trust us again.
JAYDEN: After getting that link from Brandi, I looked at Caiden. *“What do you think?” “I think we need to have a meeting.” “When and where?”*
