Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 97
CHIARA: (“Then we will move.”) She says back to me. (“And just where do you propose we move to? I have some money, but I don’t have enough to be able to live off of.”) I said to her. (“We will find something that you can afford, or move into the Packhouse with them. And you can get an actual job, one that gives you a paycheck.”) She says. She has a point. But I have to wait and see if I passed my tests. Fingers crossed. (“I will NOT be moving into the Packhouse.”) I tell her. But I could start looking for a part-time job tomorrow, and possibly an efficiency apartment or loft. But either one of them is going to take all the money I have to furnish it with. I will need a bed, a dresser, and other essential things to set up a house. In the morning, I was up early enough to help with breakfast, and then I talked to Miss Blair. “Miss Blair, is there some place that I can search to find a job that would suit me?” I asked her. “Chi, for someone who doesn’t have the right or full education, there is not a lot out there for you to do. Childcare assistant and serving jobs are always an option. Then, when you can do full-time, there are shipping and receiving positions that you might be able to apply for.” She tells me. “Ok, but where would I look to find these jobs? We don’t exactly have newspapers anymore.” “Some of them you will just have to put in the work, of going to the places, like the restaurants, or childcare facilities. Others, you can look on the wolf net; you might be able to find something that way. But you have to make sure it’s here, and not some other pack.” She said. “Ok, thank you.” I said and headed out to see if I could find myself a part-time job. I spent the better part of the day looking. And I found a job that I think will fit me. I will be doing shipping for a small boutique store. It’s not the greatest, and it’s not what I would say is my dream job. But it’s something I can do and will give me a paycheck. I start my new job next week. But I will need to change my days at the Packhouse to do it. Additionally, the manager mentioned that I could have a small space to showcase and sell my bracelets and necklaces. So, I was happy about that. Now I have to find a place to live. Hopefully, I can be just as lucky with that as I was with the job. But that will have to wait until tomorrow; I am tired. So, I head back to the orphanage and my room to take a nap. I know they said it would take a while for me to be back to my full strength, but I hate that I can’t go all day as I used to. It sucks. But I did more today than I thought I would. Thank You Thena! (“Welcome.”) (“Reading my thoughts again, I see.”) (“Sorry, Chi, I can’t help it. And since you were our caretaker and the goddess let us hear your thoughts then, it’s just stayed with me.”) (“It’s ok, Thena, as long as it’s you, I don’t mind too much. Just please don’t overdo it.”) I tell her. And sleep takes me.
CAIDEN: After our morning training, I got on the phone and called Medow Lake. (“Hello Medow Lake Training Pack. How may I assist you?”) A female answered the call. (“This is Alpha Caiden of the Silver Aspen Pack. I was hoping to speak with Alpha Baston.”) I said. (“One moment please.”) She said and put the call on hold. A couple of minutes later, there was a deep voice on the other end of the line. (“This is Alpha Baston. How may I help you, Alpha Caiden?”) (“I was hoping that you might provide me with a list of names and the packs they were from, that are not under the same gag order that you are under.”) I said. I could hear the amusement in his voice when he answered me. (“Well, aren’t you the clever one. I can definitely provide you with that information. Do you have a fax number?”) He asked. I provided it to him. (“Expect to receive that list before dinner today.”) He tells me. (“Thank you, Alpha Baston.”) I say. (“Don’t thank me until you have that bastard dead to rights, and he is found guilty. When that happens, then you can thank me.”) He said. (“Understood.”) I say and end the call. When I ended the call with Alpha Baston, I linked the unit. “Meeting in 5 at our office.” I sent. And then headed over to our building. I couldn’t help it, I was feeling pretty good after getting off the phone with Alpha Baston. Now we just need to find someone on that list that he will send us to go against Rolan. And he is done for.
JAYDEN: I got the link from my brother and headed over to our office space. We still need to find the time to redecorate this place. I thought as I opened the door and walked in, leaving it open for everyone else. I was lost in thought when Caiden came in, followed by the rest of the unit. “Brother?” he asked. “Sorry, I was trying to figure out what to do with this space again.” I told him. “Another day. Right now, I have news.” He said. “Ok, shoot.” I said. “I just got off the phone with Alpha Baston. He said he would send us a list of names and the Packs they are from. If we can find even one to flip on Rolan, he is done. Baston said to expect the list by dinner time tonight. I gave him our fax number here.” I said, nodding toward our fax machine. “That was a great idea.” Chad said. I nodded. “When it comes in, we will divide it up and start making calls. I hope it won’t take us long to get someone willing to go against him.” I said. They all nodded, and we headed back out, I locked the door. And got back to our training.
LOUISE: I went down to the cells to talk to my brother. I was not happy with him. Not because he pulled his orgy parties and pot stunt here. No, I was pissed at him because he didn’t wait for my ok to do it with. Idiot. But I needed to know what he used, and how much he used, so I could figure something else out, and find out who he got his stuff from as well. Maybe I could use the same supplier. “Rolan, how could you be so impulsive? Why couldn’t you have waited?” I asked him. “And let that asshole get away with putting you in here and keeping you down here? No fucking way! Was I going to let him get away with that!” He said.
