JAYDEN: I enter the school and head straight for the cafeteria. When I spot Iesha, I get in line behind her. “Hi, Iesha.” She jumped, almost dropping her tray. “Goddess Jayden, you startled me.” “Sorry.” “I very much doubt that. But what can I do for you?” she says, and asks in a rather breathy voice, like she is still trying to catch her breath. “Yes, Iesha, I really am sorry I didn’t mean to startle you so bad. But I need to know what Chi’s favorite flower or flowers are.” I said. “She likes carnations, but her ultimate favorite is lily of the valley.” She told me. “Thank you.” “You're welcome.” Armed with the information, I linked my brother. “Caiden, we need to find Lily of the valley and carnations. Those are her favorites.” “Alright, I will call around, but you need to get back before Father gets pissed because you’re not here.” “On my way.” I say and close the link. I catch sight of the girls on my way out and wave at them, but I keep going. I don’t want Father pissed at me and then add something else to my punishment because he thinks I might be slacking.

ROLAN: We are a couple of days away from the goddess’s day. I have been very busy over the past month. I have my formula perfected, and I have enough of it to distribute. I still haven’t seen my sister, and I think that after I get enough of Derric’s pack hooked, I am going to request that Hayley and I go home. Not that she has been anywhere to be of help to me. But that’s ok, that just means that I keep all the money for myself. I will have to commend my guys back home, too; they even sent me the baggies for the end product. 3 joints for $5 or 5 for $15, and I have about 10-20 bags of each. So yeah, I’m ready to go. And as you might have guessed from earlier, it’s not just straight pot/marijuana, I have one of the highest THC contents in the Jenny Kush, with 38%.  I have just a hint of wolfsbane. I want them hooked, not dead. One Ridilyn pill ground up per 3 joints, and ground up anise. Why the anise? You ask, well, it acts like catnip but only for canines/lupines. We’ll see how Derric’s pack reacts to this cocktail. Bastard. But just thinking of all of this is getting me horny. I need to go find me some fresh meat. And who knows, I may even get my first sale with it. I head out.

CAIDEN: I was on vigil when Chi’s monitors started going crazy. I took those few steps closer to her bedside. She began to thrash. “Hey, hey, you’re ok, Chi, you’re ok. Calm down. I am just going to push the nurse call button.” The nurse came in right away. “Get the doctor. I said while I was trying to keep her from ripping everything out. I speak to her as soothingly as I can until the doctor arrives. “Chi, the doctor is coming, ok, but you need to stay calm. You're in the clinic, you’re safe.” I say to her. She stops struggling, but she pulls away from me. And I can see the panic in her eyes. I take a step back, with my hands raised, but I keep talking to her. “I know, I know, I am just going to stand right here, I won’t touch you, just stay calm, and the doctor will come and take everything off, ok, but you need to stay calm.” I watch her eyes as she starts to relax some. “Good girl.” I say to her. I linked my group. “Chiara is awake.” I tell them. I am still watching her. Her eyes land on Hayley, and she starts to panic again. “No, no, no, Chi. Hayley won’t hurt you.” I tell her. “Hayley, move away from the bed. NOW.” I said. Maybe said it a little harsher than I meant to, but I need to try to keep Chiara calm until the Doctor gets here. I didn’t need to wait too long,   and Doctor Nathan came in and ordered us out. I didn’t like it, but he is the doctor, and he is in charge of the place. I took Hayley by the arm, not harshly, but firmly, and we left.

JAYDEN: After we got the link from Caiden, I told Father. He allowed all of us to go to the clinic to see her, but only after she was unhooked from everything and they got her moved. Caiden came back with Hayley in tow. “How is she?” we all wanted to know. “She’s ok, well as ok as one can be after being in a coma for close to a month.” “Has anyone told Iesha?” I asked. “Not unless one of the girls did. I sent that link to all of us.” Caiden said. I linked Brandi, knowing how skittish Iesha was with Valen. “Did you get Caiden’s link?” I asked. “Yes, we all got it. Why?” “Let Iesha know, and yes, you, not Valen or the twins, she is less skittish with you, and not as likely to be, or get nervous if you approach her with the news.” “Ok.” “Thanks.” “Welcome.” I closed the link. “I just asked or well told Brandi to let Iesha know.” I said aloud to everyone.

BRANDI: I was in the same hall as Iesha for our last hour, so when class let out, I went straight to her classroom and waited for her to come out. I called out to her when I saw her. “Iesha!” I watched her freeze, and her body stiffen. But she turned towards me. “What can I do for you, Brandi?” she asked almost in a whisper, and she kept her eyes down. Goddess, I hate that. But I get it, she's scared, and we, as in the ranked wolves, did that to her. “Chiara is awake.” I said, keeping my voice even so I didn’t frighten her. I watched as her whole demeanor changed with just that one sentence. She looked at me, actually looked at me. Straight in the eyes, maybe to see whether I was lying to her or not. “How do you know?” she asked. She was still leery, and I couldn’t blame her. “We all got a link from Caiden a little bit ago.” I said. “He was standing his vigil when she woke up.” I told her. “Thank you. I have to go.” She said in a breathy voice and turned and ran down the hall.

IESHA: I hate when any of the ranked squad approaches me. They all scare me, especially after everything they have done in the name of the Luna. But when Brandi said Chi was awake, I almost exploded. My best friend is back. I ran straight to my locker and grabbed my books, and went straight to the clinic. I did link Dad on my way there. “Daddy, Chi’s awake. I’m going to go see her!” “Alright. But make sure you eat something for dinner.”
