Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 6
CIARA: “I know. Just please don’t do anything stupid like that again.” I nod my head at her. I handed her my assignments from yesterday, so she could turn them in for me.
UNKNOWEN: I was passing by a door in the clinic, and I heard hushed voices coming from behind it. I didn’t know that they put people in these rooms; they are the staff rooms, if we get sick. But I was curious, so I listened in. I remember hearing that voice before, but I can’t place it. After hearing what they said, I left the area immediately. Once I knew I was alone, I linked the Alpha. “Alpha, I am sorry to disturb you, but I just overheard a conversation you should know about. I did not see who was talking, but I know that it was two she-wolves, in their teens.” “Who is this?” “Sorry, Alpha, I’m Tara. I help at the Clinic.” “What did you overhear?” “One of the speakers is from the orphanage. She said that she never signed your cards, and that you probably never even looked at them. But what I wanted to tell you is that she also mentioned the Luna, sir. And how the Luna hated them, also that if you didn’t believe it, to pick two and pay attention to them, if they didn’t end up in the clinic, they would still be beaten and bruised.” “Thank you, Tara, for bringing this to my attention.” “Welcome, sir.” I closed the link. Call me a tattletale if you want, but I don’t think anyone should speak ill of the Alpha; he is a good man. He cares about his Pack.
ALPHA DERRICK: I sat back in my office chair after getting that link. So, the person who made those cards is in the clinic. I linked the head doctor. “Are you busy?” “Just doing my rounds.” “Do you have anyone other than Chiara in the clinic from the orphanage?” I asked him. “No, sir. We don’t, and we have her in the staff wing; they are small rooms, but private.” “Thank you, Doctor.” “Welcome, sir.” I close the link. Finally, after all this time, I now know who made those cards. I know that my Luna is not overly fond of the orphans, but for the accusation of her outright targeting them, I can’t believe that. But maybe I need to do what she said. And I will pick her and a male of the same age, and see what happens.
LUNA LOUISE: I am so angry at Valen; she couldn’t leave Chiara alone. Now I have to deal with her whining, to punish the omega who did her laundry because she didn’t do it right. I swear that girl. I should just make her do her own laundry for once. Then maybe she wouldn’t be so quick to beat the crap out of the one person who does do her laundry the way she prefers it. I don’t have time to deal with her crap right now, as I am trying to put this homecoming together for the boys. They will be here tomorrow. I know that their ranked group will be throwing them a bash on Saturday. To welcome them back, but this is going to be just family. A small gathering for dinner, their favorite, venison steak with roasted potatoes and a salad. All done to their liking. And to set the target for the prom/party. And remind them that they are not supposed to kill anyone, like they did a couple of years ago, but just to have fun. I don’t believe that the orphans should be allowed to participate in the school activities; they don’t belong to us, we shouldn’t have to give them anything. Well, maybe the wolves, because their parents did make the ultimate sacrifice to save the pack, but not the rest. I will set Chiara as their target this year, since Valen likes to pick on her anyway. Let's see just how much she can dish out to her without actually killing her. Then, after the prom/party, we have to get ready for the goddess’s celebration, and then the twins' birthday. It gets to be hectic around this time of year. Because after the twins' birthday is the graduation. I still need to go shopping to get the dress and the shirt for the prom/party. I give the targets a new dress or shirt in the pack colors. The shirts for the boys are in a silver color, and the dresses for the girls are some shade of green. That marks them as the targets for this year, and after this year, I am going to have to figure out who I can use, because Valen and the rest of the ranked wolves will be graduating this year. I will work on that later; right now, I have to get this dinner planned.
CHIARA: I can feel the Alpha’s blood working; I can move better, I can breathe easier, my vision is still a little blurry, and my eyes still get tired rather quickly, but all in all, I am getting better. I just hate that I have to get his blood to do it with. Plus, I know that they are monitoring me more closely now. So, no more switching blood bags out, even if I wanted to. And at this rate, I might be able to get out of here by the weekend, not that I have anything to do, but I will be able to get my book report done and out of the way so that I can concentrate on the rest of my schoolwork without that hanging over my head. I take out my science book and start to read the chapter assigned to us, taking notes to make flashcards from, so that I can pass that subject. I am not that good with science, or math for that matter. Well, I should say most science. I am not good at, but I loved my health class, and I passed that at the top of the class. Valen was pissed; she was in that class with me. But after health, I am not that good with science. Nurse Baker came in just before lunch to check my vitals. “Your concussion hasn’t healed yet; you really shouldn’t be reading.” “How else am I going to get my homework done? Are you going to allow a staff member to come and read everything to me?” I asked her rather quietly. “No, but what about your friend, can’t she do that for you?” “Iesha has her own homework to do; she may come here and do her homework while she is sitting with me, but it is her homework, not mine.” I tell Nurse Baker. “You will get another IV after lunch, then I want you to rest.” She says and leaves. 10-15 minutes later, I get lunch served to me. When I am done eating, I set the tray aside. I need to use the bathroom, so I get up and head to the door. The bathroom is down the hall from the room I’m in, and I have to pass the nurse's desk to get to it.
