Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 125
SIMON: We are not going to take the blame for Louise on this.” He tells me. And I nod again in understanding. “So, what’s going on up there right now?” Rolan asked.
CHIARA: I heard a door open, and I saw the figure of a guy, but I didn’t get a good look at who it might be. He stayed in the shadows. He and Rolan moved to an area farther away from me to talk. I could hear the low murmur of conversation, but not any words. (“Thena, when the door opens again when he leaves, try to reach out to Deena.”) I tell my wolf. (“I will try.”) She answers me back. I just smile and retreat to hug her.
ROLAN: “They searched for her last night until midnight, then they called a halt, but they are back at it now.” Simon tells me. “What is Louise doing while all this searching is going on?” I asked him. “She is pretty much staying out of it. Not participating in anyway shape, or form.” He tells me. “She is going to get herself in more trouble with her precious twins than she bargained for.” I say to him. “You're not wrong on that count. I guess that every ranked wolf in the pack had to hold them back from ripping her apart last night.” He said. I could believe it. My older sister is a piece of work, to say the least. But she is still family, and without her training, I wouldn’t have the network that I have today. 8 packs, receiving my product, and setting up the parties, charging a small fee to participate. With a 60/40 split. I get 40%, and I don’t have to lift a finger. Just make sure the product gets shipped. I am making a killing. And now with this new formula that was perfected here, I will be raking in even more. I know what you were probably thinking that I would keep the majority of the money, but I am not the one taking all the risks. And with some of the packs throwing a party every couple of weeks during the summer, and at least once a month in the winter, I am rolling in money. Well, not literally, and I never bring everything I have with me when I set up a new pack. And I tell my people that that is their pay, for keeping the parities going. I just need to ensure that it is used appropriately so that no one cries rape or foul play. But all my people know my rules. No force, no rape. Just good, clean, free fun, and sex. And since we are sexual by nature, I am just capitalizing on what is already natural for us, and maybe helping it along a little. But hey, no harm, no foul. “You should get back up there. We don’t want anyone getting suspicious of you.” I tell him. And he nods. And heads for the door.
CHIARA: I hear footsteps, they pause, then I hear a door, and I relax and let Thena do her thing. I give her as much energy as I can push through the bond between us. In hopes that she can reach Deena. Then I hear the door close. And footsteps drawing closer. Then I see Rolan. He is grinning. “I take it you got some good news?” I asked him. “Umm.” Is all he says. “Are you hungry?” He asked me. “Yes, a little.” I said. I watched as he walked over to a shelf that held cans of food. I couldn’t see what was there, but I could see some of the labeling on the cans to know that it was food of some kind. “Are you thirsty? Want some water?” he asked. “Yes please.” I answered him. He nodded and then set about opening a few cans and starting the camp stove. He found a couple of small pots to put the food in to heat it. While it was heating, he grabbed a bottle of water, opened it, and held it up for me to drink from. “ I will put the food in a bowl for you, along with an eating utensil. I will let you down just enough for you to eat, then I will have to put you back up.” He says to me. “Why the play of kindness?” I asked him. “You think I'm a bad person? That I’m like my sister?” He asked me back with a chuckle. “Aren’t you?” I asked back. “No, I am not. I told you I don’t have the same problem with humans that my sister has. I take offense to those who hurt my family or me, but to hate just for the sake of it? No. That is a total Louise thing.” He said. “But I know that you have a problem with the twins.” I say. “Again, my business. And I will deal with them my way.” He says again. And holds the water bottle up for me to drink from. He turns back to the camp stove to check the food, making sure it’s not overdone, and he dishes it up just as he said he would. Letting me down just enough so that I could eat.
IESHA: It was just before lunch, and Deena and I felt a pull. I followed it, I reached the corner of the pack house, and it was gone. I walk to the back corner of the Packhouse. I walk the whole back end of the packhouse, trying to get a read on that pull I felt. (“Deena, try to reach out to Thena.”) I ask my wolf. I can feel her strain. Again nothing. (“I am really sorry, Esha.”) She says to me. (“Hey, it’s ok, the fact that we felt anything a bit ago means she’s still here.”) I tell her. (“We need to let the twins, Chad and Vince, know what happened, and where.”) I tell her. She thumps her tail like a playful pup whenever Chad gets mentioned. I just shake my head at her and link Chad. “I am at the back west corner of the Packhouse. We just felt a pull to come this way, but when we got here, it was gone.” “On our way.” He sent back. I looked around, and I didn’t pick up anything. But maybe something might come through closer to the trees. So, I started walking slowly, trying to concentrate on the area around me. I was halfway to the wooded area behind the Packhouse when the others showed up. “Esha!” I heard Chad call me. I waved to them. “I’m over here.” I call back. I wait for them to catch up to me. “Esha, Chad said you had a pull?” Caiden asked. “Yes, I was walking the grid on the west side of the Packhouse. And all of a sudden, it was there, just this tug on the bond that Deena shares with Thena. I followed it, but by the time I reached the back corner of the Packhouse, it was gone. I don’t know how to explain it any better than that.” I told all of them.
