Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 90

VALEN: “But! It’s Chiara.” I said before they could interrupt me.  I sat back and watched their faces go from pure joy for the twins to the shock and fear I felt when Vince told me. “Oh goddess! Now what?” Carri asked. “I mean, with everything? What’s going to happen? Is she, or did she reject them?” Again, Carri spoke the fears we were all wondering. “I don’t have any answers Carri, just that I was told to let you know the situation, and that we need to keep it to ourselves.” I said. And I watched as they all turned to look in the direction of Chi’s and Iesha’s table. And then we all went and got our lunch.

DERRIC: “I have an announcement to make.” I addressed the table at lunch. Everyone, including the boys, turned their attention to me. “I received word that Louise cleaned the cells, and so I will be letting her out for dinner.” I said to everyone. “Does that mean she understands what she did was wrong?” Vance asked. “I doubt it. I think it is a ploy to get out, I told her that the twins found their mate, and who said mate was. She more or less told me that it couldn’t happen, and that they have to reject her.” I said, looking at the twins. “HELL NO!” they both yelled. “Calm down, boys. I will not make you reject her. But be aware that your mother will try.” I told them. I could feel the anger rolling off the boys in waves. “If she pushes too hard, she will find herself back in the cells. And if she keeps pushing after that, I will let Steel out to deal with her!!” Jayden said through clenched teeth. “And I will allow Axel to help in whatever punishment he feels she deserves!” Caiden added.

BENTON: “Umm, Alpha?” “Yes, Benton?” “What about the issue of Rolan, and the statement he made about getting his weed from my girls?” “Ha! Figures, sorry, Beta, Benton, but we knew he would try something like that. We were just waiting for him to play his hand.” Caiden said. “What are you talking about?” I asked. “Rolan had his stuff planted on Carri, Cassie, and Iesha. We found it all and replaced it all with harmless herbs that would be used for medicinal or flavoring purposes.” Jayden said. “And we turned the stuff he planted on them over to the doc to see what all we were dealing with. It turns out that he made two different batches. One for the guys, and one specifically for the females.” “And why are we just hearing about this now?” Alpha Derric asked the boys. I wanted to know myself. “We wanted to prove we could take care of Rolan on our own. And when he does get judged by us in front of the whole Pack, his words will be lies, and those who helped him plant the drugs on the girls will be held accountable.” Jayden added. “We just need to prove who actually did the planting, but with what the girls tell us, I think we have our suspects already narrowed down.” Jayden said again. “Ok, you both need to start this whole thing from the beginning.” Alpha Derric said. And I was of the same mind.

JAYDEN: “Dad, you know some of it. We told you about it at our birthday party.” I said. “Yes, but for the sake of the others, let's say I don’t know anything. So, start at the beginning.” He said. “I don’t know exactly when he started selling the pot.” “But the girls had a couple of weird incidents that had happened to them in school.” I said. “What kind of incidents?” Benton asked. “Both Cassie and Carri said that the student body kept coming up to them and smelling them. Iesha reported the same thing had happened to her, only they would bump into her.” I recounted the incident they told us about. “Turns out that their backpacks had anise on them. We think it got there when Rolan had some of the students plant the first batch of joints on them.” I said. “Whoa, hold up, what is anise? And what does it do exactly?” Vance asked. “It’s an herb that acts like catnip only on us.” Caiden chimed in. “And that’s why the students were acting that way; anyone who got close to them needed to get a whiff.” Caiden continued. I nodded. “Ok, so how do you know it was him? And who do you suspect helped him plant the drugs, and where is your proof?” Father asked. “Everything happened at school, so pretty much the witnesses are the students themselves, and we are pretty sure that the perpetrators are Mitch and his buddies. They were the only ones that got close enough to the girls to plant the drugs on them.” I said. “What will you charge him and them with?” Father asked. “Selling a controlled substance, conspiracy to over through the current Pack leadership, and undermine Pack authority. To cause chaos and leave us vulnerable and open to rogue attacks, due to his orgie parties.” I deadpanned. “Those are serious charges.” Benton said. “We know.” Caiden said. “Do you think you can prove them all?” Father asked. I think we can prove intent, and I believe that will be enough. And he will have to prove he is innocent, which just by him selling shows he’s not.” I said. “We have the medical reports to show what was in the joints, and what effects those ingredients would have on the user.” Caiden added. “And if he is found guilty, I don’t care if he is mother’s brother, he will no longer be allowed into our pack, or on our territory, by pain of death.” I said. I am so over Rolan and his bullshit.

BENTON: “When do you plan on putting him on trial?” I asked the young Alphas. “As soon as father deems us ready not to be dosed anymore. That way, we will have clear heads to take on the process of prosecuting him.” Caiden answered. “Good!” was all I could manage to get out. I wanted to tear that good-for-nothing limb from limb. And I would take great pleasure in watching him bleed out. I just hope that the young twins can pull it off.

DERRIC: I did have the twins and their unit dosed. But instead of working on math and chess problems and strategies, I made them work through a mock trial of prosecuting and sentencing Rolan. Then we got back into hand-to-hand combat. I wanted to see how they would fare if they were dosed and still had to go through the trial. I will say they surprised me, and did pretty well with everything. Now we just have to deal with Louise, because when she finds out what the twins have planned for her brother, she will go ballistic and will blame me for turning the twins against her brother. But he did that on his own. And with all this, I need to change Chiara’s birthday in the records so that they are accurate.
