Alpha Twins' Mate's broken Human Chapter 110
LOUISE: And I need to go down and talk to Rolan again. I need to know who he has recruited to help him. By using the same person/people, there is less likelihood of getting caught before the time comes. I head down to the cells. “Who do you have helping you with the parties?” I asked him. “Simon.” “Is he the only one?” “Yeah.” “Ok, good.” “When are you going to get me out?” He hissed. “I’m working on it, for now, just sit tight and don’t cause any trouble.” I tell him. “How will I know when the time comes?” He asked. “You’ll know. Don’t worry.” I tell him. And I leave. When I get back up to the Packhouse, I see the twins and their ranked unit. “Have you called your grandmother yet?” I called out to them. Ignoring the fact that that bitch is still with them. “No, mother, we haven’t. We do that after dinner. Which, by the way, we won’t be home for. All of us have decided to go out for dinner.” Caiden says. “Where are you going?” I asked them. “Brandi and Vince want to try the new steakhouse restaurant that just opened up.” Jayden says. I see the girls actually surround the little bitch, like they are trying to hide her from me. Ha, like that could happen. “Fine, but call your grandmother, because if I get another call from her, wanting to know where Rolan is, I will tell her that you two have him locked up. And from what I can tell, for no apparent good reason!” I tell them. And head inside.
VINCE: I was bringing up the tail end of our group. The twins had me lock up our space before we headed over to get Iesha. So, I saw when the girls made a ring around Chi, keeping her out of the Luna’s line of vision as much as they possibly could. I watched the Luna’s face; I could tell she was not happy about the fact that Chi was with us. Too bad, it wasn’t her call; it was the twins’. The four of us, guys and Chi, got in the SUV, making sure to leave space for Iesha. The girls piled into Valen’s car, and they drove straight to the restaurant to get a table for all of 10 of us. When we are waiting for Iesha to come out of her house, “Guys, we are going to have to figure something out for Chi.” I said. “What do you mean? Figure something out for me.” Chi said. “Please understand, Chi, what I am about to say is for your own protection.” “Say what you need to say Vince.” Jayden says. “We need to put a guard on Chi.” I said. “What? Why?” Chi asked. “There are two very good reasons for you needing a guard.” I said. 1st. The neighborhood that you are living in is not the best. 2nd. I don’t trust the Luna not to have you followed at some point and try something with you.” I said. And the twins were nodding their agreement.
JAYDEN: “Agreed, but with her off the kitchen roster, it will be harder for Mother to have access to her.” I said. “Yes, but only for a short time.” Vince answers back. “Once she finally realizes that Chi isn’t around, she will go looking.” Vince says. “He’s right.” Caiden says. And right then, Iesha comes out of her house and gets in the vehicle next to Chi. “I am right here, you know. Please stop talking like I’m not here, and don’t have a say.” Chi says. “What’s the topic of discussion?” Iesha asked. “Whether or not I need a guard.” Chi answers her. “Chi, I think you should, your neighborhood isn’t the greatest.” Iesha says to her. “But what about when I’m working? I can’t have a guard in the boutique constantly.” Chi says. “Why not? It’s the perfect cover, a private guard for the shop. It will make the patrons feel a bit safer. And keep an eye out for any trouble that mother might send your way.” I say. As I start to drive. “I have to agree with both Vince and Jayden.” Caiden says. “I want a guard with you at all times.” Caiden says. “I can’t, I don’t have enough room for a guard 24/7.” Chi says. “You know what I mean.” Caiden says. And I see Chi stick her tongue out at him. I had to laugh. It’s the first time that she actually played around with us. I liked it. It showed she was starting to be more comfortable with us.
CAIDEN: “Speaking of your work, what exactly will you be doing?” I asked her. Ignoring Jayden. “I will be wrapping and packaging and taking some of the smaller items to the post office to be mailed, and I’ll call the delivery service to do some of the others.” Chi says. “And any that are close to the store, I will deliver them myself, that’s why I bought the bike, as transportation.” She says. “and I will be doing inventory for the owner, so he knows just what he has, and what he need to get. And I will be taking in his shipments and putting it into the stock count.” She says Great, just great. She is truly going to need a guard. However, I think the best way to deal with it is to have a female guard assigned to her. And one that will be as inconspicuous as possible when she makes her deliveries. We’ll have to talk to Brandi when we get to the restaurant. Then Jayden calls out. “We’re here.” He finds a place to park, we get out, and we all head into the restaurant where the girls are waiting at a large table for us. Dinner was fairly amicable; we got the issue of a guard for Chi settled, and there was very little tension between the girls. Which made me happy. Some of the dinner conversation turned to the girls, school, graduation, and pretty much all of their birthdays coming up, their first shifts. What they wanted to do, what they were expecting, that sort of stuff.
IESHA: “Chi? When are you supposed to hear about whether you passed your tests?” I asked her while we were waiting for the check. “I am hoping to hear by some time next week, that way I will still have some time to study more and retake them, if it comes down to it.” She says. “Will you be coming back to class?” Brandi asked her. “No, I have a part-time job that I will be working at for 3 days a week. And if I did pass them, I would see if I could work a little more.” She answers Brandi. “Yes, about Chi having that job, stays here.” Caiden says, looking at the Ranked Squad. And the 4 of them nodded. After Jayden paid the check, we all left the restaurant. The girls went with Valen and Chi, and I got back in the SUV with the guys. They dropped me off first. “Bye, Chi, I’ll call you tomorrow.
