Werewolf
Falling in love with my Ex's Alpha Chapter 105
After what seemed like an eternity of looking at Chad's face with hope and expectation, I couldn't resist anymore. "Okay, for me, you can come live with us," I say with a smile.
He looks at Jake and Jay, and they both look at me in disbelief, "sure," Jake says.
Jay smiles hugely, "well, forget what I said about me cleaning, Chad cleans everything from now on," he says, laughing, and Chad throws a crumpled tissue in his direction.
We all laughed as we finished eating, and we continued talking a lot about their move in.
Chad is happier than ever, and Jake and Jay seem happy to have him come live with us, too.
But suddenly, I stop to think about a person who might freak out when he finds out about this.
Kaiden!
Oh my Goddess! I didn't think about his reaction!
But it's not like Chad and I are living together like Jake and Jay. He will have his own room, and we will all live together as friends...
I hope he sees it that way.
"Have you decided what you're going to do when you finish your studies, Jake?" Chad asks him, breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Uhm... I still don't know. Well, now that Kaiden sent me to another department, I need to think more calmly. I was supposed to be Three Tree's Beta, however..." he looks at Jay, and Jay gives a slight nod as if understanding what he meant, "...I'm still looking at my options."
I look at my cell phone and am shocked by the time! It's already too late!
I get up from the chair abruptly, "I need to run to get ready. Kaiden will be here soon!"
I start heading towards my room, "are you going somewhere?" Chad asks. I see a subtle change in his face; he was smiling until just now; suddenly, he seems sad but immediately disappears... returning to a neutral face.
"Yeah," I reply, not feeling comfortable giving any more details than that. Suddenly I start to think that maybe it wasn't such a good idea for him to come live here.
"Have fun!" he says softly, looking away, and I enter my room after thanking him.

"Dressed like this, you'll be his wet dream fantasy," Jay says with a smirk when I ask how I look.
I laugh at his response, as always, zero filter!
Jake looks me over from head to toe and nods, "Definitely!"
Well... That's what I expect after wearing a black dress that hugs every curve of my body. The dress is just above my knee, and its neckline is a little revealing. That's why I'm also wearing a jacket over it.
I don't like putting on makeup, so I just put on mascara and lipstick with the colour of my mouth. I was going to tie my hair up, but I thought it looked better with this dress if it was loose.
Chad is sitting next to Jake and Jason in the living room, clearly already feeling at home. Well, he was here all the time when we were dating that the transition wouldn't be difficult.
I look in his direction and see him biting his bottom lip as he looks at me from head to toe. When his gaze reaches mine, he realizes I'm looking, and he looks away.
At that moment, someone knocks on the door, and you don't need to be a genius to know who is there.
My heart is already starting to race knowing that my mate is nearby. I've been waiting for this date with him since he invited me.
I open the door for Kaiden, and as soon as he sees me, he bites his lower lip and looks at me from my feet to my head, repeatedly without stopping as if he was mentally memorizing every part of my body, as if he was recording it on his mind every detail.
He releases his lower lip and smiles when his gaze meets mine.
From the living room you can see the front door, and Jason shouts, "you can set the time of death because Kaiden just died of lust for you!"
I giggle, and my face flushes; Kaiden clenches his fists as if remembering that there is someone else around besides the two of us.
When he looks away to see who is in the room staring at us, I take the opportunity to ogle him.
He wears loose pants and a black long sleeved shirt that hugged the swell of his biceps, leaving little to the imagination.
This time, it was my turn to bite my lower lip, trying to restrain myself from jumping on him.
"Let's go!" Kaiden says firmly and pulls my hand. I look at his face and see that he no longer has that happy and lustful expression, which leads me to believe that he may have changed like that after seeing Chad.
Oh, Goddess!
How am I going to explain to him that Chad lives with me now?
🐺 🐺 🐺
As Kaiden and I ascend the winding road to the mountaintop restaurant, a sense of anticipation fills the air. I've heard about this hidden gem from Chloe, but nothing can prepare me for the breathtaking spectacle that unfolds before me. The sun, a molten orb of crimson and gold, slowly dips below the horizon, casting a warm, orange glow over the pack below.
As we reach the restaurant, I am spellbound by its design. It's a harmonious blend of modern elegance and rustic charm, with large glass windows that afford an uninterrupted view of the sprawling pack. I marvel at how the building seems to perch on the edge of the world, seemingly suspended in the sky.
We are led to our table, which sits at the very edge of the restaurant's terrace. It's as if we have been granted a front-row seat to a magnificent show. The table, draped in crisp white linen, is adorned with flickering candles, their flames dancing in the gentle breeze. A single rose in a slender vase adds a touch of romance to the ambiance.
I can't help but let out a gasp as I take in the panoramic view.
As the night descends, the stars begin to emerge one by one, adding their brilliance to the celestial tapestry.
When the waiter comes to take our orders, I see that Kaiden doesn't seem to know what he wants to order, and I don't pressure him.
"Good evening. We'd like to start with the Caprese Salad, please, for our appetizer. It's a personal favourite," I look up with an enthusiastic smile.
"Excellent choice, Luna! And for your main course?" The waiter asks.
"For our main course, I think we'll go with the Fettuccine Alfredo. I've heard the chef does it exceptionally well." I remember that Chloe suggested I try it. I glance at the wine list and point to a bottle. "And, to complement our meal, a bottle of the Chianti Classico, if you don't mind," I look at Kaiden to see if he has any objections, however, he gazes at me with a mixture of surprise and admiration.
He nods, and then the waiter leaves.
"I know you don't usually, uhm, eat... But I hope you can at least try what I ordered, I think you'll like it," I tell him softly and look away at the view in front of us.
We remained silent until the waiter brought our order. However, Kaiden remained with one hand possessively on my thigh.
He didn't try the starter, but when the main course arrived, after the waiter left, I turned to him and said, "try it... for me," I batted my eyelashes in his direction.
He looks at me intensely, and after a moment, he picks up his fork and tastes the pasta. His eyes open as if they were startled by the explosion of flavours.
I hold his hand, happy for his reaction, "it's good, right?" I tell while also tasting.
However, Kaiden doesn't respond; he continues eating everything, and almost instantly, he eats everything.
"You like it?" I ask with a smile on my face. Even though I know he liked it, I want to hear him say it.
He stays silent and nods.
"Baby, why don't you usually eat?" I ask, worried but dying of curiosity to understand why he never proves anything.
He remains silent, and when I thought he wasn't going to say anything, he starts talking. "I'm not used to the pleasure of eating," he says in almost a whisper.
"And why not? You have money, I'm sure you have access to it," I say and immediately regret it because I hear myself and see that I could have asked in a less invasive way.
"I always eat the same thing... When I was a child, my parents didn't let me eat anything that wouldn't make my body stronger. I wasn't allowed to eat delicious things..." he confesses, and my heart breaks into pieces.
I hold his hand, and after a few moments, he continues, "I'm not used to enjoying this..."
"Did you like the selection I made?" I ask, trying to ease some of the tension in his shoulders. Every time Kaiden acts strange about something, it always seems to be linked to a trauma that his parents did to him. I just wanted to protect my mate from all this. Life was so unfair to him.
"I can't express how much I appreciate it," he says firmly, and I smile.
As the night wears on, we share some stories, laughter, and quiet moments of wonder. It's a night that I'll never forget, a night of enchantment on the cusp of spring, with a view that makes us feel like we are floating among the stars.
"I forgot to order dessert," I tell him, even though my dress feels a little tighter from eating so much.
"I'm going to eat *my* dessert, but it won't be here," he smirks mischievously and calls the waiter to pay the bill.
Kaiden doesn't take his eyes off my body.
I bite my bottom lip because I already know that I'm going to be his dessert.
